“As a local in Orlando for 18 years this place has been an institution. It's been loved by the community for 25 years. Paul has been the lifeblood of keeping an awesome community coming back. The wine club he curates is one of the most unique in Orlando with boutique selections you can't find anywhere else. Don't sleep on the charcuterie board or happy hour!!!“

“We dined at Sparrow during a recent trip to Orlando, and overall, we really enjoyed our meal. Before visiting, I had only read a handful of reviews, but I remembered one mentioning a less-than-ideal table tucked against a curtain in a small corner. Unfortunately, that was exactly where we were seated. We felt a bit cramped, and the table next to us was so close that they commented on our food throughout the meal.
Thankfully, the food largely made up for it. The Endive Salad was excellent. I loved the flavors and the way it was served almost like lettuce wraps. The steak with blue cheese was cooked perfectly, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. The standout dish for me was the Cacio e Pepe Fries; I’ll be dreaming about them for a long time. The Lumache Alla Vodka was also delicious.
The only dish that missed the mark was the Gambas a la Ajillo. The tableside presentation felt awkward and unnecessary. The server chopped the shrimp and egg with two spoons, poured a bowl of chips on top, and then crushed them into the dish. It almost felt like a joke, and honestly, I would have preferred the dish without the presentation. The flavors were also a bit too salty for our taste.
For dessert, we had the Sparrow Chocolate Cake, which was very good. Next time, though, I’d love to try the cheesecake or one of the ice cream offerings.
Despite the seating issue and one disappointing dish, we would absolutely return. Hopefully we'll get a different table next time and another order of those incredible Cacio e Pepe Fries.“

“Popo’s is tucked away in an area that you’d never look in, don’t let that scare you away. It is a wonderful little place that is roomy inside with plenty of seating inside and outside. Food is fantastic and at a great price. The wait staff is top notch; very attentive and friendly. You just don’t find that anymore.“

“What a gem! I celebrated my birthday there last night and it was an absolute delight! The food was wonderful, and the owner not only stopped by the table (before he knew it was my birthday), but when he found out, he presented me with a beautiful dessert that we ordered with a sparkly candle. When we left, we didn't see him but after we walked out, he literally walked out of the restaurant to say goodbye to us. THAT is everything! Making a first timer feel special and appreciating our business. They had 3 things on the menu I specifically wanted and they did not disappoint! They were escargot, foie gras, and mousse de canard. DELICIOUS!“
“Hands-down my favorite place to go for a casual hangout. The employees are knowledgeable, the menu is extremely reasonably priced considering the quality of food they offer, the atmosphere is intimate and lowkey. If I move out of Orlando, this place is going on “must revisit every time” list.“

“Quick service, good wine and a friendly bartender. Quiet atmosphere which is so refreshing during a busy travel day. I saw another review where someone mentioned it wasn’t kid friendly as a negative - lol that’s literally one of the BEST things about this place-no kids! Would definitely visit again.“

“We had an absolutely lovely time at Wine Bar George. The service was fantastic, very personal and attentive. Master Sommelier/Owner George helped us choose a wine and opened the bottle himself. The recommendation was spot on. The Honig paired nicely with the dishes we ordered. The Saganaki on fire was amazing. Great tableside preparation and the cheese was wonderfully creamy with a nice crust. The charcuterie board was very well rounded and savory. The ribeyes were prepared beautifully, medium as ordered. The baked potatoes were amazing! So creamy and cheesy. The key lime pie was a small slice of perfection! A perfect balance of creamy, limey, and light finished in three small, heavenly bites. A perfect ending to a lovely meal. It's our second time at Wine Bar George, and we will definitely be back!“

“I’m SPEECHLESS. Some of the best Peruvian food I’ve tasted. Service 100%. Food 10,000%. Everything was so fresh and delicious.
I had the shrimp fried rice, which is a huge portion. I had enough left over for dinner! They also have a drink called Limonada de Coco…OMG. It felt as if I was on tropical island when drinking it. Last but not least, the dessert. I had the ice cream and a Peruvian cookie. It was so light, not to sweet. The perfect balance.
I will be back here, when I return here for work!“
“Go here for the BEST girls night. The vibes are so cute and service is great. I thought overall the food was alright, but I think it was a personal preference of the types of food offered. Loved the hummus plate, and the drinks were great! Will definitely be coming back. 🩵“

“Papa Llama, 2840 Curry Ford Road, Orlando- 4-Stars Michelin Recommended- Bib Gourmand! Peruvian immigrants, Kevin and Maria Ruiz, say they founded Papa Llama in 2016 as an experimental pop up and opened the doors of this location in August 2020. In 2022, they earned the Michelin Guide's coveted "Bib Gourmand" award for establishments that serve good food at reasonable prices so naturally, I got excited. Paulina, my server, was well prepared and knowledgeable, making for an auspicious beginning in a gorgeous environment featuring good prices for dishes that could be made to satisfy both carnivores and herbivores alike. I ordered the entire family style menu which was, according to Papa Llama, "designed to be tasted together, shared, and fought over." So much food for just over a hundred dollars. The prices may have been cheap but the taste and quality of (most) victuals valieron un Perú! A hearty Big Boy Thank You (Sulpayki!) to Kevin and Maria and the culinary dactylograms of their ancestors, on this amazing cuisine (Somaq Mihuna!). The first item on the menu was Olives--whole green Castelvetrano olives marinated in house with aji panca--which were so delectable I could eat them all day. Next, the Red + Gold Beets, a minty beet salad with honey ají amarillo vinaigrette, queso fresco, and candied pistachio, which started out smooth and creamy and ended with a pleasantly piquant bite. Papas a la Huancaína followed, a fingerling potato dish with spicy aji amarillo cream, wakatay (black mint) salsa verde, and beef chicharron, topped with a fried egg. The potatoes themselves were not the star, but the combination of flavors in the sauce were amazing, unctuous but smooth. Papa Llama carries a long list of natural wines, more wines than food items, actually. That evening, I chose the Yuzu Sake, and may I say, "Holy smokes!" How refreshing after consuming so many peppers. The rest of the dishes I would give 4.5 to 5-Stars, EXCEPT for the side of frozen Sysco French fries which almost ruined an otherwise stellar meal. There are over 300 kinds of potatoes in Peru. Over 300! Perhaps in the United States we don't have the same abundance as found in El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley) but, por favor, do not stoop to this! The Big Boy says, "Eat here. All the authentic Peruvian flavors at Papa Llama are 5-Star, but skip the fries, which are a corporate conglomerate frozen food disappointment."“

“Let me tell you about Seasons 52 in Orlando Florida. First I found out this is the original restaurant, first store. I have been to Seasons 52 before in other locations but our experience last night was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was incredible, we had a water view, the service was absolutely fantastic and the food could not have been better. We both had Fillet and lobster. Both were cooked absolutely perfect!!!! Our server Shelby did the most amazing job. Our experience could not have been better. Thank you!“

“So for years this place has been our go to. Lately it has gone downhill. It's not your servers fault. The bar wait time is unacceptable. Not to mention the drinks haven't been good. To have 2 bartenders and my apps to come out before my drinks is bad. Then the main course wait time is long also. Unfortunately we will be moving on. We thought maybe it was because magical dining before but this time the restaurant wasn't slammed.“
“Vino y cervezas 🍺 y excelente ambiente“
“William at the bar is the reason I would come back.
He handled an influx of patrons after hundreds of MCO flight cancellations. He was the only person behind the bar and took my drink order, take out order and dine-in order without missing a beat.
The following night, he served my entire family in the dining area while managing the bar.“

“Wanted a memorable Anniversary dinner and we definitely got it at Maxine's on Shine. It is nestled in a residential neighborhood so parking during peak times can be a bit tricky. We did make a reservation and arrived shortly after they opened at 5pm. Our immediate feel was that we were entering a speakeasy. Cool decorations, intimate yet casual indoor/outdoor seating, private dining area in rear and plenty of staff. Tables and bar were starting to fill up for their happy hour. Mia our server made her introduction and took great care of us throughout. They had a three course magical special along with regular dinner menu. We started with libations then onto a caprese salad appetizer. Our entrees were Maxines Chicken and Pasta and Beef Lasagna (a recipe taken from the former Italian restaurant that occupied the same space).
Both were delicious! We passed on dessert but one of the owners (Mr. Maxine) cane to our table and personally toasted us with a limerick and champagne. We truly welcome the opportunity to return with or without an occasion. Enjoy!“
