“This is a small place and would highly recommend making a reservation. They have happy hour till 6 pm. I ordered an old fashioned and tostones from the happy hour menu. For my entree I ordered the Ropa Vieja which was really good and was large enough where I took a to go box. Our server Taylor was very knowledgeable and friendly. The drinks were amazing and probably my favorite part of the meal. I ordered the Guanabana. It got really loud in there once the restaurant started filling up. Experience was good and I would definitely go there again and try something else. Things to keep in mind make a reservation, off hours would for sure be easier for conversations.“

“This is THE cocktail bar in Orlando. If you love a carefully crafted or unique cocktail come here. We had several and my favorite was the Velvet but every single one was a hit. The bartenders were extremely knowledgeable and fun to chat with. We will definitely be back!“

“My wife and were anxiously waiting for this restaurant to open. We went this Friday (May 5th) and were not disappointed. First, the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The ambient music was at a perfect level with a definite South Beach feel. We interacted with several servers and each of them provided excellent service. The menu has enough diversity to satisfy anyone's tastes. To start, we had an appetizer that consisted of scallops covers in parmesan cheese that was melted at the table with a torch. For our entrees, I had a beef dish (Lomo Saltado), while my wife had a pork dish (Arroz chaufa with pork). Everything was delicious. They have quite a few specialty drinks in their cocktail menu. We each had a different drink and both were very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Piscos and look forward to going back.“

“We had our wedding reception here and they made all the food and drinks and they were fantastic, way better than traditional wedding food. Our guests were raving about the food $ drinks! The short rib, chorizo sliders and the carrots really stole the show. We absolutely loved the custom cocktails they made for the events as well as ones already on the menu. The Hades and the Demeter were delicious. The mocktails were a huge hit as well for our non-drinkers. Julian the owner was great to work with, everything went smoothly and I would absolutely recommend anyone to have an event here.“

“We recently visited Luminescent Bar for a last-minute engagement toast, and overall it was a good experience. The staff really stood out. They were friendly, accommodating, and did their best to help us pull something together on short notice, which we truly appreciated. Everyone in the party ordered cocktails and all reported they were delicious!

The atmosphere was great for a celebratory moment, and everything came together smoothly thanks to the team working that night. That said, the interaction with the owner was a bit off-putting. While he ultimately allowed us to have the toast there, he made it clear he would have preferred more notice and came across as though he was doing us a major favor. It felt a bit unnecessary, especially since we had other options and were simply grateful for a place to celebrate.

Overall, I’d still recommend Luminescent for its attentive staff, nice ambiance & great cocktails. Just be mindful if you’re planning something last minute there :)“

“It was our first time visiting for magical dining. We actually arrived an hour earlier than our scheduled reservation and they seated us immediately. The atmosphere was amazing and the service was superb! Katrina, our server provided detailed explanations of the menu and gave great recommendations. Even before we entered, Peter, the valet, welcomed us like we were old friends. He recommended Ana’s Cosmo, which was divine. The meal came in “waves” and each wave seemed interchangeable and complemented the previous one. We wanted for nothing the entire evening. Christopher, the general manager, was attentive and made us feel at home. Overall, it was a lovely evening and we will definitely return—only next time we will book a room at the Wave Hotel and make it a proper staycation.“

I stay at this hotel every time I go down to Orlando and it is very convenient to book for your next day flight. The restaurants are great. The staff is amazing. The balcony view is unmatched. It is a little more expensive to stay here compared to your average hotel, but you won’t regret picking this Hotel over every other one out there. Spend the cash and stay here. It’s worth it.“
