“We had a wonderful dinner at Maxine's on Shine during Magical Dining. Our server, Mara, was attentive and friendly from start to finish. Maxine and Mr. Maxine also stopped by our table to chat, and that personal touch made the evening feel special.

The Passion Star cocktail had a memorable presentation, and it wasn't watered down with ice like so many restaurant drinks are. It tasted the way it should from the first sip to the last.

For appetizers, we shared the nachos and the Smoked Salmon & Avocado Cream with naan toast and mixed greens. Both were fresh and flavorful. For my main course I had the Wagyu Filet of Sirloin Au Poivre, and it was tender and perfectly seasoned, with a peppercorn sauce I'd order again. My dining companion had the lobster ravioli with shrimp and loved every bite. We finished with the red velvet cheesecake and the chocolate mousse, both a great ending.

“My wife and were anxiously waiting for this restaurant to open. We went this Friday (May 5th) and were not disappointed. First, the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The ambient music was at a perfect level with a definite South Beach feel. We interacted with several servers and each of them provided excellent service. The menu has enough diversity to satisfy anyone's tastes. To start, we had an appetizer that consisted of scallops covers in parmesan cheese that was melted at the table with a torch. For our entrees, I had a beef dish (Lomo Saltado), while my wife had a pork dish (Arroz chaufa with pork). Everything was delicious. They have quite a few specialty drinks in their cocktail menu. We each had a different drink and both were very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Piscos and look forward to going back.“

“Probably the best date my fiancé and I ever had. Brandon truly made it special, from the food suggestions to the cocktails. The food was delicious, the lobster croquettes, the lechon asado, and the ropa vieja - just wow! It was like taking a trip to Cuba! We also had one drink that had a piece of a key lime pie at top and every sip of that cocktail was like a taking a bite of a real key lime pie. This man was a true chemist behind the bar. Felt like he came right out the show “The Bear”. 10/10 experience and would 100% go back.“

“It was our first time visiting for magical dining. We actually arrived an hour earlier than our scheduled reservation and they seated us immediately. The atmosphere was amazing and the service was superb! Katrina, our server provided detailed explanations of the menu and gave great recommendations. Even before we entered, Peter, the valet, welcomed us like we were old friends. He recommended Ana’s Cosmo, which was divine. The meal came in “waves” and each wave seemed interchangeable and complemented the previous one. We wanted for nothing the entire evening. Christopher, the general manager, was attentive and made us feel at home. Overall, it was a lovely evening and we will definitely return—only next time we will book a room at the Wave Hotel and make it a proper staycation.“

“My GOD! This is my favorite restaurant in Orlando EVER! If I could (and my wallet allowed me), I would be eating here every day, especially the Susuru Chashu Gohan, and the Godzilla Cocktail. Jenn has served me already in two of my visits and she is an amazing soul that has the patience of a saint for explaining all the random questions my mom would make, and helping through the cocktail and suggestions. “We had our wedding reception here and they made all the food and drinks and they were fantastic, way better than traditional wedding food. Our guests were raving about the food $ drinks! The short rib, chorizo sliders and the carrots really stole the show. We absolutely loved the custom cocktails they made for the events as well as ones already on the menu. The Hades and the Demeter were delicious. The mocktails were a huge hit as well for our non-drinkers. Julian the owner was great to work with, everything went smoothly and I would absolutely recommend anyone to have an event here.“

“We had such a great experience at The Monroe. This place honestly deserves the hype. The food overall was excellent. Nothing we had was bad, but some dishes definitely stood out more than others. The jalapeño popper deviled eggs were insane and easily my favorite. The General Tso cauliflower was perfectly crispy and flavorful and ended up being my husband’s favorite. The fried chicken is huge and comes with what feels like four sides, so it’s more than enough to share. I’m very picky about mac and cheese and theirs was genuinely impressive. The bread pudding was unreal, it comes out like a crispy brick on the outside and soft and gooey inside. Drinks were great too. The Flamingo drink was really good, and their iced lattes were surprisingly amazing, not just good for a restaurant but actually good. If I had to be picky, the s’mores and the warm potato salad were just okay compared to everything else. Service really made the experience. Our server Sarah was so bubbly and kind, and her recommendations were mostly spot on. We also had a situation where a child tried getting into our car. We mentioned it casually and didn’t expect anything to come of it, but she immediately took it seriously, got the manager, and he went out right away to handle it. That level of awareness made us feel taken care of and able to actually relax and enjoy the rest of our night. The pricing was honestly kind of shocking in a good way. We ordered three appetizers, a large entrée, two alcoholic drinks, two coffees, and dessert and it was right around $100. Overall, great food, great service, great pricing. A couple things I wouldn’t reorder, but the things that were good were really good. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Very friendly staff and our server was exceptional. She was kind, knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. The place was clean and the table was equipped with plenty of utensils and napkins. The food was fresh, delicious, and large portions good for sharing. The menu offers a little bit of everything except seafood. I am a seafood lover and it was a little disappointing that shrimps was the only option on the menu. The pork orderd was great, soft and full of flavor. I have to mention that the dessert menu is very small (2 items) but good. It is interesting how the tables are equipped with needed items to cook yourself options. Heads up no knives provided. They have karaoke on weekends, it was nice. There is plenty of parking and with good lighting if visiting at night time. I will come back and will recommend it to family and friends.“

“Update to add this is now our go to coffee spot. I'd go everyday if I could but when I do it's always such a treat. I just do a iced cortado with oat milk and the rose cardamom syrup but it's so good every time. Having worked in different coffee shops the best coffee I usually drink is what I make myself. I want to taste the coffee and enjoy it. What I really appreciate is that every time I get the same drink it taste the same each time unlike most places I've gone to and reorder the same thing. Consistency is such a rare thing these days in places. I also appreciate how great the employees are each time we visited. Always feel welcome from the moment we walk in. Thanks again 🙏

We just moved to the East side after having lived in the Milk District 8yrs so trying out coffee in the area that isn't Bux, Dunkin or 🦊tail.
I got an iced cortado with oat milk and rose cardamom syrup ( delicious ❤) my hubby got the Affogato with the pistachio ice cream. Which he shared so we could taste the espresso on its own first. Very nice and smooth, dialed in perfectly. I love pistachio anything so was excited for the ice cream. It was the best pistachio ice cream I've ever had with plenty of pistachio pieces in the ice cream. My daughter had the Roobis tea and it was tasty.
Inside the place was very inviting and we loved the vibes and music.
Service was a 10 from the 2 employees who helped us through the menu since it was our first time. Logan and I hate that I forgot her name because they were both so great. I really appreciated them answering questions since I was curious about the coffee beans , etc.
Over all we had a really great experience. We look forward to visiting again to try out the cocktails. Looking forward to the espresso martini.“

“Tori Tori is by far the best upscale bar I’ve visited. The drink menu offers classic cocktails, but has a fabulous list of unique, in house, created mixes that were phenomenal. Dalton was our Bartender and he was friendly and intuitive about which drinks to recommend. The São Paulo was an indescribably different and delicious beverage. If you like coconut, the Shinobi was also bomb and very popular amongst the crowd. Matthew let us try a seasonal punch that was festive and yummy, and they both helped us decide on snacks, which were to die for. Portions are small, so order multiples if you’re hungry. The Chimichuri steak skewers and Curry Meatballs were everything. Before we left, Greg introduced himself and was friendly and funny and helped top off a wonderful experience. You can tell this space is well managed and that the bartenders enjoy each other and the work they do. 20/10, a must if you’re looking for cocktails that will blow your mind.“
