I stay at this hotel every time I go down to Orlando and it is very convenient to book for your next day flight. The restaurants are great. The staff is amazing. The balcony view is unmatched. It is a little more expensive to stay here compared to your average hotel, but you won’t regret picking this Hotel over every other one out there. Spend the cash and stay here. It’s worth it.“

He was very helpful in answering all questions and making sure the set up for our party of 25 was beautiful. THE BAR is outstanding. Great selection of beers, both the big name brands and some delicious local breweries. In the same high level are the cocktails, very creative and phenomenal taste.
Our favorites were the CORE DENSITY and the GRS. The staff is also very friendly. 10/10 experience.

THEL GRILL is great as well. You can order straight from the pool, via a QRCode, and pick up at a side window (the app wasn't updating correctly when I was there, but the Hotel had just opened, so perhaps they will have fixed it by the time you read this) either way, check with them if you think your food should already be done. I highly recommend the HUMMUS & PITA.
It's a great choice if you’re relaxing by the pool, or on their outside tables.

And seriously, don’t overlook the cocktails!“

“I wanted to leave a more recent review, and the experience I had at the bar, the service, and the drinks were all really high caliber. I think they got rid of the problematic staff mentioned in reviews from 6-9 months prior.

Anyway, I had the Tiki Punch and the signature Volcano Bay Cocktail (forget the name). The Tiki Punch was better, and less sweet which I appreciated. The glass is reusable at the bar for about a $3 discount on your next drink. The views from here are amazing, and with the shade is the perfect place to stop for a drink and even bring your food from the nearby counter service restaurant and eat!“

“This weekend, consistently, the Swizzle Lounge at Cabana Bay really impressed me with the bartender’s skills. Cody's cocktails were PERFECT—clean, balanced, and clearly made with intention. His Mojitos are delicious!! In fact, the best i've ever had (im 41 yrs old...). Nothing was overpowering, and everything came together just right. “What can I say, I’ve been here quite a few times. Today was my favorite time ever being here actually. I decided to let whatever server I got, choose everything I ate. And Aurora did not disappoint. I asked her about seafood and she told me why the lobster tacos might be the way to go. She talked about flavor balancing between different menu items and tried to explain to me all the showcasing of the different seafood and how it worked for flavor profiles. I asked her about side dishes to go with it. She told me all the standard side dishes and she saw that I was not over excited by any of the offerings and she suggested maybe the premium truffle ranch potatoes might be what I’m looking for. She was not wrong on any of it. Lobster was cooked to perfection and all of the items placed on that taco belong there. She was right the balance was there. I was surprised when I got the fries. I thought it was going to be drenched and something, but it wasn’t. But I tasted the truffle and the ranch and the sauce and the side was perfect next to those crispy fries. I did not want to jinx myself so I had her decide my dessert unknown to her what I was doing. She chose the pistachio bread pudding. Not something I would ever get. It was delicious. I’m not going to lie. My only complaint is it needs more ice cream because it is so decadent and rich. Just get an extra side dish of more ice cream, you’ll thank me. Aurora you are a great server and I hope RusTeak knows it. Thank you for making tonight epic for me. I am stuffed and happy.“

“Some of the best theme park food I have ever had! Beautiful and elegant atmosphere, very clean, and the food was absolutely delicious! I had a crepe for lunch and then back for dinner for the Quiche Lorraine. Perfect size portions and perfectly made! My friend had serious allergies and the chef came out to talk to her, and made sure her meals were safe and delicious!“

“Honestly for a pool restaurant, it was pretty good. It's exactly what you expect it to be. The drinks were phenomenal and they had some unique options honestly, the food was ok, the service definitely made up for it. Our server took great care of us. My wife and I ordered the jerk chicken flatbread while lounging at the pool on our staycation, and it was ok, the flavors were there, but more individually, not really working very well together. It could have been also due to the fact that the flatbread was soft, and not very crunchy, so it didn't hold up the best. Now for pool food was it good, 100% yes, would I have ordered this in a sit down restaurant, no, not a chance. The drinks though, I would order every change I get, they were delicious and very well made.“

“I had lunch at the bond themed restaurant in July 2024. I ate there yesterday and had the same burger. It definitely wasn’t as good as it was last time I was there. The first time I ate there I thought it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. This time It was average or below. Burger paddy was smaller and overdone. Next time I go to Dezerland I will go to Ford’s Garage, it’s about a mile away and they have great burgers.“

“Ahmira did a phenomenal job on the Bibimbap. It was bright, vibrant, flavorful and cooked to perfection (great job on the not too runny egg). Everything was the perfect blend of sweet, savory and umami and you can tell she made the dish with care, dedication and time management, making the dish the perfect combination and temperature. She is a phenomenal chef who I can see going far in this industry. Thank you Bar 17 Bistro for doing your due diligence in hiring people like Amhira and Grace -attentive server who went above and beyond to ensure I enjoyed my dish. The entire staff was extremely welcoming and friendly and i thoroughly enjoyed my stay.“

“I’ll explain my rating. Food was great, atmosphere was great, service was fantastic! The only reason for the 4 stars was it was expensive for how little food was presented. Yes, I completely understand that it is inside a theme park! I get it… but there comes a point.. in this day and age, everything cost a lot but boy was I not ready for the price this place had! I love eating Asian food. I eat a LOT of east Asian food. The food wasn’t super traditional in any way but had that American Asian feel. The 小籠包 （xiao long bao) tasted exactly like the ones I get from the frozen section of my Asian grocery store. That’s not to say it is! I am just saying it tastes like it. I don’t want to assume anything. The noodles were hard with no chew but the sauce was stellar. The wontons were the star of the show. Boy I’d get those again and again! It was absolutely amazing! The crab fried rice was expensive but so good as well! I’d come back again for sure! It’s the experience of eating inside universal studios!“

The service is good. There was a bit of a wait, but they had us seated promptly and explained the menu in detail for us. The food came out quick and they made sure anything like refills were dealt with promptly.

The food was good. We got fish and chips and other dishes, and they were cooked well and had good flavor. The fish and chips were a bit too flaky, and the tartar sauce was alright but did its job well. One unique thing is the Universal Studios Butter, which was cool but was just for aesthetic purposes.“

“This place was soooo good. The service. The music. The excellent trainer training the new hire. Came here for my girlfriend birthday and they have her a waterfall shot of tequila which she loved.“
