“Not a perfect experience or meal but close. We started with the fried green tomatoes, Brussel sprouts with the old fashion. What a great start. I had the 'ode to Wilbur and have to say it was one of the best pieces of pork I have eaten. It was tender, flavorful, and juicy. It was paired with some amazing creamed corn and braised greens. I tried my daughters duck and it was cooked perfectly. My wife had the market catch and she didn't love her dish like I did. We finished with creme Brule and cheesecake. The cheesecake was like a basque style not too sweet but had a nice texture and clean flavor. The Brulee was also very nice wrap to the meal. I look forward to dining here again.“

I have been eating here since it opened and the food and staff have always been phenomenal!We ate dinner from The Kitchen two nights during our recent stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals! The first night we split the short rib pasta...thank goodness...it was amazing and the portion size filled us both up! The meat was so tender and cooked to perfection! On our last night we stopped in after a full day at the parks with our 4 year old grandson. It was perfect once again! Chicken tender and fries for him, smothered pork chop with glazed carrots and mashed potatoes with a delicious mushroom gravy for me, and the skirt steak with duck fat fingerling potatoes for my husband! Everything was delicious, we had enough leftovers for lunch the next day, and our server, Jake was fantastic! He even brought out a complimentary donut sundae for the birthday boy! Can't wait to stop in for dinner again in April!Kid-friendliness: The servers were great with our grandson! “I would venture to guess that most folks would be a little scared to come and eat here. It looks run down from the outside, and the inside seems trapped in time. Like, 30-40 years ago. HOWEVER...when you have the best version of a relatively common dish you've ever had (and it's not even close) what can you say? The fajitas were the best I've ever had. The sides were amazing. A little South American style slaw, rice, refried beans (also the best I've ever had) and a small slice of avocado and cheese. From the obviously homemade tortillas to the wonderfully seasoned beef and shrimp to the blow away presentation in a place where I wax expecting anything BUT this...I feel like I've discovered something wonderful - and that's as good a feeling as the delicious food itself. The De Mi Pais mango drink was also divine. Not a brand you are likely to easily find wherever you are, but if you can, do it!“

They were full giggle and full bellies when we left. Bolognese was delicious, pasta with vodka sauce equally so. We cleaned our plates which is rare. We could not stop eating! We did not try the steak dishes but the menu sounded fantastic. My girls had simple kids pasta with chicken- delicious. The Tiramisu was not only delightful it was also interactive. “Confisco was a highlight of my Universal experience! I'm impressed by how good the food was. I walked in without a reservation at 2pm on a Thursday and was immediately seated. The store was adorable decorated: it had pirate/island themed decor, very fitting for a theme park restaurant. The waiter was super friendly, although it was difficult to get refills of water. I got the chilled tuna noodle bowl, which was okay. The seared tuna slices were nicely cooked, and the dressing was zesty and fresh. Unfortunately, the noodles were completely clumped together - perhaps just over cooked. The other dishes were much more satisfactory. The appetizer ahi tuna nachos was a standout. I loved the use of wonton chips, which were perfectly crispy. The soy and wasabi aioli drizzles provided the perfect savory and spicy kick. The brick oven half chicken was also delicious. I really enjoyed the slightly spicy sauce and the pairings of mushrooms and rice. Confisco provided a much needed respite during a long and hot theme park day. Some of the dishes were really solid!“

“I’ve always gotten drinks here but yesterday I was by myself and wandered in wanting to eat something. I was pleasantly surprised to have eaten a fantastic lunch inside islands. The portions were huge I didn’t eat it all. I got the baked chicken sandwich it was crispy and exactly what I wanted! Service was good while it was very busy and I was seated fairly quickly. “I didn't know what to expect as the reviews on Yelp are a mix bag. I knew a steak house at a casino must have high standards. It was a lot better than I expected. The bread is very good. I came here with a casino regular. He comes he often to eat and recommended that we ordered several orders of bread. He was not wrong. The bread did not disappoint. They served several types of fresh bread such as a French Bread, an Olive Bread and a Cranberry Bread. The bread is out of this world fresh and delicious. You must order extra. Be careful not to fill up on it though. You've been warned! The Cranberry Bread is the best Lobster bisque is served table side. It's creamy and has the right amount thickness. Solid bisque. Our waitress was Tiffany and she was very attentive and upbeat. She provided very good service. She was very accommodating in brining several orders of bread for our table. I ordered the 8 Ounce Meyer Prime Filet Mignon ($75) and it was good steak and they cooked it to perfection as I requested it cooked medium and it was done just right. We also shared an order of the Carnivore ($22) which included Pepperoni, Sausage and Bacon. We added Mushrooms for additional cost. I knew the pizza would be delicious when I first tried their bread. If you can make great bread then you can definitely make great pizza. From the dough standpoint, the crust of the pizza was crispy yet chewy. I would eat here again.
