“I had a wonderful experience at Peacock Alley! The atmosphere was absolutely perfect, and the live piano player was incredible—such a talented musician who added so much to the ambiance of the evening.

Tried the chicken nachos, but they were overly salty. Thumbs up for clean restrooms with plenty of stalls. Some room for improvement: more snack options would be nice, and I missed having frozen drinks on the menu. Overall, not bad, but there's room to enhance the experience.“

“A nice, air conditioned, place to relax and have a free soda. They also have free DVDs to give away, while they last. During Halloween, the back room is used to store Halloween costumes and such. Stick your head in there and take a look.“

“We had an outstanding dining experience at Eddie V's and will definitely be back. The service was exceptional from start to finish, which is exactly what you expect when dining at a premium steakhouse. The staff was attentive, professional, and made the entire evening feel special.
We started with a dozen and a half oysters, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. The Wagyu beef dumplings were absolutely amazing and one of our favorite appetizers of the night. We also ordered the crab cakes and steak tartare, both of which were expertly prepared and full of flavor. I tried the Caesar salad as well—while it wasn't a traditional Caesar, it was unique, fresh, and very enjoyable.
For our entrées, we enjoyed the rack of lamb, filet mignons, and a couple of lobsters. Every dish was cooked perfectly and delivered exactly the quality you'd hope for from a high-end steakhouse. The sides, including the mac and cheese, were equally impressive and complemented the meal perfectly.
The true highlight of the evening was the Bananas Foster. It was absolutely phenomenal and easily one of the best desserts I've ever had. The presentation, flavor, and execution were flawless.

I noticed they haven’t been posting on their Instagram page either so I’m not sure if they’re still open which would suck because it’s the only nightclub/lounge that I really enjoyed and recommend to people in Downtown Orlando.“

“We visited Blue Martini last Thursday and it was AMAZING evening from the time we arrive (5:30 p.m.), DJ Salsero’s music and the free complimentary Professional dance classes (Bachata and Salsa) make our evening a night to remember, Salsero is a great dance instructor, very professional and knowledgeable and we love the atmosphere that he creates when instructed, we will be back this coming Thursday. “The Other Bar is a downtown Orlando staple located on Wall Street, surrounded by a cluster of other bars. The name isn’t just clever—it’s called The Other Bar because it’s the only bar on that stretch owned by a different owner, which already gives it a bit of its own identity.

This place is very much a local favorite, and for good reason. I’m a fan of the complimentary popcorn (simple pleasures matter), and while the bathrooms might look a little scary at first glance, they’re generally clean—which honestly puts them ahead of many dive bars downtown that barely qualify as functional.

The space itself is bigger than it initially appears, almost deceiving when you first walk in. Over the years, the interior has seen steady upgrades, and it shows. The stage is well lit, and every Monday I frequent their open mic—an event that’s been running for decades and continues to be a cornerstone of the local comedy scene.

There’s also an outdoor patio and bar area, which adds a nice option when the weather cooperates. One moment that really stood out to me was Thanksgiving, when they hosted a Friendsgiving and fed all the comedians who regularly perform there. It was genuinely generous and speaks volumes about how much this place values its community.

All around, The Other Bar feels familiar in the best way—a reliable, welcoming spot that supports local talent and keeps evolving without losing its soul. It’s a place I return to often and one I’m glad still exists downtown.“

The courtyard area was outstanding, with plenty of seating options in high top, low top, couches, etc. You could also sit in numerous spaces throughout the house, upstairs or downstairs. Ordering was very easy via a QR code, and at first I was hesitant about what kind of service it would be, but everything came out quickly and they were all super friendly! Ordered the meatballs, tomato toast, crispy potatoes, and croquettes, and all of it was fabulous! The meatballs were outstanding! Would definitely recommend and visit again.“

“Great local spot perfect for starting your night out! They offer relatively affordable drinks, and the bartenders are pretty cool. There's a pool table that you don't have to pay for, darts, and lots of comfortable places to sit. Outside is a chill vibe as well, with several seats and tables out front - I've been there 3 times, and it's never been super crowded. Parking can be a challenge at times, but there are lots nearby to park at. I recommend starting out here if you're bar hopping and then walking to the mills (about a 5 minute walk, and you'll pass several bars along the way)“

“Nice rooftop bar upstairs that plays dubstep and tech house EDM. Roomy and plenty of space to dance. Downstairs there are hip-hop, Latin, and throwback pop. But the rooms downstairs were too crowded and got lots of unsolicited attention from bargoers, one person grabbed my wrist and would not let go as I was trying to pass through the tight crowd.“
