I recently had the pleasure of trying my requested Elijah Craig Old-Fashioned, and it was nothing short of exceptional. “Wonderful dinner after a busy park day. My sister and I shared several appetizers for our dinner and it was perfect. Way too much food too but now we have leftovers. We tried: -Potstickers -Teriyaki noodles -California roll -Sticky wings -Bread pudding All were amazing! My favorite was the wings!“

“I am writing this review even though the place is closed, just in case when they reopen they have a similar menu or experience. We went the last couple of days before it closed, because we had heard great things about the prime rib sliders here. We ordered drinks and a sliders to share as well as a wedge salad to share. Everything was good. The wedge salad portion was pretty good. The sliders were two small sliders with not a lot of meat on them for $20. So that was a let down. They were good but not great. The highlight though was our server Audra. She was so friendly and fantastic. She always had a smile on her face, was so happy to be there, and gave us great service. Hopefully she returns when the restaurant returns. The location at the yacht club is a great convenient location. Overall we enjoyed our meal here but do not feel a need to return.“

“Had a decent time at Fields Ultimate Lounge on the first level of the Amway Center. Appreciated the available seating spaces, although prices were predictably steep. Tried the chicken nachos, but they were overly salty. Thumbs up for clean restrooms with plenty of stalls. Some room for improvement: more snack options would be nice, and I missed having frozen drinks on the menu. Overall, not bad, but there's room to enhance the experience.“

“A nice, air conditioned, place to relax and have a free soda. They also have free DVDs to give away, while they last. During Halloween, the back room is used to store Halloween costumes and such. Stick your head in there and take a look.“

“What an awesome place, I came in and absolutely loved my experience with the berger seidle party. The food was great, awesome drinks, and Corbin was an awesome person who helped me out tremendously along side Blake. I never knew anything about this place, they were super accommodating and even made sure my 8 year old could return to see the ice bar herself and experience the magic and beauty of it. 10 out of 10, would highly reccomend a visit. “Great unique atmosphere. Like something you’d see in the 1920s. Unbelievably friendly staff (namely Joey, Dev, Conner, and Mateo). (They let me sneak my pizza in, but don’t tell anyone). The Bellhop feels like Tower of Terror meets prohibition era hotel concierge that’s a front that turns into a speakeasy that the Flappers invited you to. Well themed place and drink creations. They really put a lot of thought into it. Feels like an escape. Best bar on the street.“

“The Other Bar is a downtown Orlando staple located on Wall Street, surrounded by a cluster of other bars. The name isn’t just clever—it’s called The Other Bar because it’s the only bar on that stretch owned by a different owner, which already gives it a bit of its own identity.

This place is very much a local favorite, and for good reason. I’m a fan of the complimentary popcorn (simple pleasures matter), and while the bathrooms might look a little scary at first glance, they’re generally clean—which honestly puts them ahead of many dive bars downtown that barely qualify as functional.

The space itself is bigger than it initially appears, almost deceiving when you first walk in. Over the years, the interior has seen steady upgrades, and it shows. The stage is well lit, and every Monday I frequent their open mic—an event that’s been running for decades and continues to be a cornerstone of the local comedy scene.

There’s also an outdoor patio and bar area, which adds a nice option when the weather cooperates. One moment that really stood out to me was Thanksgiving, when they hosted a Friendsgiving and fed all the comedians who regularly perform there. It was genuinely generous and speaks volumes about how much this place values its community.

All around, The Other Bar feels familiar in the best way—a reliable, welcoming spot that supports local talent and keeps evolving without losing its soul. It’s a place I return to often and one I’m glad still exists downtown.“

“I stayed at The Hard Rock for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday in June, and Anthony, the bartender, truly made the trip unforgettable. From the first night, he was welcoming, fun to talk to, and mixed some of the best cocktails I’ve had. He not only remembered my favorite drinks but also recommended a few new ones that quickly became favorites.

What stood out even more was how much he cared about making the experience special. Anthony gave me great food recommendations around the resort, and on the night of my birthday he surprised me by sending an assortment of snacks up to my room. It was such a thoughtful touch that made me feel celebrated and really added to the whole trip.

Anthony goes above and beyond—great drinks, great conversation, and genuinely top-notch service. If you’re at The Hard Rock, or enjoying the universal parks or resort, do yourself a favor and spend some time at the bar with him. He was there the last time we stayed there for my birthday as well. He’s the best.“

“Came here for a galentines brunch. This place is very unique. Feels like you’re at a vintage home with different rooms and sitting areas. We sat outdoors. The ordering process is super cool. I felt that the DJ was playing music just for me because I swear he was: a) reading my mind or b) had my playlist…LOL. I mean literally song after song, he was definitely on point. I didn’t have any drinks so I can’t speak on that, but I literally had the time of my life dancing!! I came home talking about it all night to my husband about how much fun I had dancing. I would definitely come back and it’ll have to be on another Saturday night because I wouldn’t want to risk having to hear a different DJ. The DJ this night was hella dope! Hands down Proper has the BEST vibe of the bars in that little row! Highly recommend.“

“During our stay at Cabana Bay Beach Resort, we checked out the nearby lounges. Swizzle, located in the main lobby, had a relaxed vibe with plenty of seating. Robert, an energetic drink master, served up some tasty cocktails. I tried the Hallow-Rita, and it was excellent—definitely some of the best cocktails around.“
