“Come here all the time with my kids. They are so basic so we normally just get cheese slices. Today, me and my son decided on a canzone due to his infatuation with stuffed crust.. I was a little weary that he wouldn't like it. The canzone was literally spilling over with cheese. Jonas, the cook told me he would make another but we could keep the messed up one. When I tell you.. me and him tore that thang up! And thanks to Jonas we had an extra one to take home! He really didnt have to.. but everything he did required me to make this 5 star review. We never have any complaints with this place, but today we definitely have an accolade. Also shout out to the pretty girl who was working the floor.. her name is Stella. She was awesome. “Probably the best date my fiancé and I ever had. Brandon truly made it special, from the food suggestions to the cocktails. The food was delicious, the lobster croquettes, the lechon asado, and the ropa vieja - just wow! It was like taking a trip to Cuba! We also had one drink that had a piece of a key lime pie at top and every sip of that cocktail was like a taking a bite of a real key lime pie. This man was a true chemist behind the bar. Felt like he came right out the show “The Bear”. 10/10 experience and would 100% go back.“

“Wanted a memorable Anniversary dinner and we definitely got it at Maxine's on Shine. It is nestled in a residential neighborhood so parking during peak times can be a bit tricky. We did make a reservation and arrived shortly after they opened at 5pm. Our immediate feel was that we were entering a speakeasy. Cool decorations,intimate yet casual indoor/outdoor seating, private dining area in rear and plenty of staff. Tables and bar were starting to fill up for their happy hour. Mia our server made her introduction and took great care of us throughout. They had a three course magical special along with regular dinner menu. We started with libations then onto a caprese salad appetizer. Our entrees were Maxines Chicken and Pasta and Beef Lasagna (a recipe taken from the former Italian restaurant that occupied the same space).
Both were delicious! We passed on dessert but one of the owners (Mr. Maxine) cane to our table and personally toasted us with a limerick and champagne. We truly welcome the opportunity to return with or without an occasion. Enjoy!“

“We had our wedding reception here and they made all the food and drinks and they were fantastic, way better than traditional wedding food. Our guests were raving about the food $ drinks! The short rib, chorizo sliders and the carrots really stole the show. We absolutely loved the custom cocktails they made for the events as well as ones already on the menu. The Hades and the Demeter were delicious. The mocktails were a huge hit as well for our non-drinkers. Julian the owner was great to work with, everything went smoothly and I would absolutely recommend anyone to have an event here.“

“Very friendly staff and our server was exceptional. She was kind, knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. The place was clean and the table was equipped with plenty of utensils and napkins. The food was fresh, delicious, and large portions good for sharing. The menu offers a little bit of everything except seafood. I am a seafood lover and it was a little disappointing that shrimps was the only option on the menu. The pork orderd was great, soft and full of flavor. I have to mention that the dessert menu is very small (2 items) but good. It is interesting how the tables are equipped with needed items to cook yourself options. Heads up no knives provided. They have karaoke on weekends, it was nice. There is plenty of parking and with good lighting if visiting at night time. I will come back and will recommend it to family and friends.“

“Visited during Sunday Brunch and LOVED it! Food and service was OUTSTANDING! Manager Nate welcomed us like family and Kayla our server was also amazing! They both gave us great recommendations and were spot on! The endless shrimp, sirloin and crab legs, plus a Pasta Bar and small plates make the brunch a great deal!! I ordered off the menu and loved the flatbreads and burgers! Highly recommend! Flavorful diverse food menu at affordable prices! LOVE! I will definitely be back!“

“We had such a great experience at The Monroe. This place honestly deserves the hype. The food overall was excellent. Nothing we had was bad, but some dishes definitely stood out more than others. The jalapeño popper deviled eggs were insane and easily my favorite. The General Tso cauliflower was perfectly crispy and flavorful and ended up being my husband’s favorite. The fried chicken is huge and comes with what feels like four sides, so it’s more than enough to share. I’m very picky about mac and cheese and theirs was genuinely impressive. The bread pudding was unreal, it comes out like a crispy brick on the outside and soft and gooey inside. Drinks were great too. The Flamingo drink was really good, and their iced lattes were surprisingly amazing, not just good for a restaurant but actually good. If I had to be picky, the s’mores and the warm potato salad were just okay compared to everything else. Service really made the experience. Our server Sarah was so bubbly and kind, and her recommendations were mostly spot on. We also had a situation where a child tried getting into our car. We mentioned it casually and didn’t expect anything to come of it, but she immediately took it seriously, got the manager, and he went out right away to handle it. That level of awareness made us feel taken care of and able to actually relax and enjoy the rest of our night. The pricing was honestly kind of shocking in a good way. We ordered three appetizers, a large entrée, two alcoholic drinks, two coffees, and dessert and it was right around $100. Overall, great food, great service, great pricing. A couple things I wouldn’t reorder, but the things that were good were really good. We’ll definitely be back.“

“I stumbled across this place by chance this weekend and am glad I did. I was craving an Old Fashioned all week long. I tried the original and then the Southern style. Great staff, Bartenders were fantastic and also had brief conversations with the other guests. I highly recommend going. I will be back and next time I’ll hopefully have some friends with me.“

“This was my first visit to Pisco and it was an absolute delight. When my wife and I entered the restaurant, we greeted with a warm smile and promptly seated. Our server was Yanet and she was amazing. She asked if it was first time and since it was, she explained the items on the menu. She also shared her favorite dishes. After having appetizers, we were given fresh cutlery for the main course. The food itself was a gastric experience of new flavors. Everything was delicious.
