“Glenwood Tavern is the newest bar in Deland. The Tavern was a great spot 20 years ago. And now it's on its way to being a great spot again. Thanks to the new owners that restored the historical site. We can retrace our memories from back in the day. Pretty cool...And just in time for bike week.Brand new stage with a fire pit to keep warm when your watching the band's. Fresh smoked grocieries and good groceries.And a shiny clean washed scooter from the bikini girls at the bike wash to ride out out on when it's time to head out.What's not to like“
“What a gem of a place to have in our town of Deland! The garlic escargot is the best we've ever had. The garlic sauce is over the top, want to lick the plate clean amazing. Leg of Lamb is my favorite, tender, seasoned to perfection, and just melts in your mouth. My husband's favorite is the prime ribeye. Just sheer perfection. Have never had anything on the menu that wasn't tasty. Get the wine, eat the dessert, enjoy. You won't regret stopping here.“
“I came here tonight with a friend to grab a few drinks and spend some time catching up. The place was pretty full, but never felt crowded. There was live music which was played at an appropriate volume to add to the restaurants atmosphere. The bartender and all servers were polite, friendly and efficient. I didn’t try any food but it looked good from what I saw others enjoying. The cozy atmosphere, tasty drinks and excellent service ensures I will return next time I’m in town.“
“Our 1st time here! Not sure if they take reservation but every table inside and out was full. May want to consider it as we had to sit at a table in the grass, which our chairs kept sinking into! Also, they had part of the patio reserved for a birthday party. Live music too!! We ordered shrimp cocktail and a pick four charcuterie board. Food was great! Service was okay. We'll be back for sure“
