“In town for a business event and happened to find this gem of a restaurant. I was lucky to be seated quickly because 85% of the tables were reserved. The staff was the most friendly and eager to please. Alexa in particular was dealing with some rather demanding customers, and she did it with a smile and grace. The six formaggi pizza was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had- the crust was stuffed with ricotta and I was in heaven. The Gorgonzola was a very forward flavor, so if bleu cheeses aren’t your favorite I’d make the pizza a five formaggi instead. The chocolate mousse was also light and delicate. I will go out of my way to return on future trips to the area.“

“Figs Prime provided a wonderful setting for our anniversary celebration. The tuna tartare and rack of lamb were delicious, cooked just right. The bread pudding was a delightful end to the meal. Overall, a great experience worth repeating.“

“Wanted a memorable Anniversary dinner and we definitely got it at Maxine's on Shine. It is nestled in a residential neighborhood so parking during peak times can be a bit tricky. We did make a reservation and arrived shortly after they opened at 5pm. Our immediate feel was that we were entering a speakeasy. Cool decorations,intimate yet casual indoor/outdoor seating, private dining area in rear and plenty of staff. Tables and bar were starting to fill up for their happy hour. Mia our server made her introduction and took great care of us throughout. They had a three course magical special along with regular dinner menu. We started with libations then onto a caprese salad appetizer. Our entrees were Maxines Chicken and Pasta and Beef Lasagna (a recipe taken from the former Italian restaurant that occupied the same space).
Both were delicious! We passed on dessert but one of the owners (Mr. Maxine) cane to our table and personally toasted us with a limerick and champagne. We truly welcome the opportunity to return with or without an occasion. Enjoy!“

“Eola Wine Company was my first time visiting, and honestly, it definitely won’t be my last! From the moment I walked in, I loved the atmosphere. It has such a warm, welcoming feel that makes you want to sit back, relax, and enjoy yourself.

What stood out the most was the staff. Even on a busy Sunday brunch afternoon, they were incredibly attentive, friendly, and accommodating. That kind of service really makes a difference and made the experience even better.

The drinks were fantastic, and the mimosa flight was definitely a highlight! The food was fresh, delicious, and there were so many great options to choose from.

I also love how versatile this place is. It’s perfect for getting together with friends because it has a fun atmosphere without feeling too loud or crowded. But you can just as easily come by yourself, enjoy a drink, grab a quick bite, and feel completely comfortable. There’s something very inviting about this place.

With both indoor and outdoor seating, a great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food, and amazing drinks, Eola Wine Company is definitely a spot worth checking out.

“We had a really nice experience at Sparrow Wine Bar in Orlando. The atmosphere is cozy, stylish, and relaxed, making it a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and spend some time with friends. The outdoor area is also very inviting and surrounded by beautiful greenery.

The service was friendly and attentive, and overall the place has a lovely vibe. Definitely a nice little spot on Orange Avenue to relax, enjoy some wine, and have a good evening. We really enjoyed our visit and would come back!“

“We went to check it out for Magical Dining and we are so glad we did! We got deviled eggs, fish dip, and fried goat cheese for starters, and all were incredible, especially the goat cheese. For entrees, we got the seafood boil and the duck confit. The sauce and portion of the seafood was incredible, and the duck skin was incredibly crispy and delicious. For dessert we got the cheese cake, lava cake, and espresso potted creme, all of which were incredible. The kitchen really knows what they're doing! The only slight negative is that the cocktails were very mixer-heavy, so I might suggest sticking to one of their incredible selections of wine instead of a cocktail. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, and the restaurant is cozy and gorgeous. Overall, incredible experience and can't wait to go back!“

“Papa Llama, 2840 Curry Ford Road, Orlando- 4-Stars Michelin Recommended- Bib Gourmand! Peruvian immigrants, Kevin and Maria Ruiz, say they founded Papa Llama in 2016 as an experimental pop up and opened the doors of this location in August 2020. In 2022, they earned the Michelin Guide's coveted "Bib Gourmand" award for establishments that serve good food at reasonable prices so naturally, I got excited. Paulina, my server, was well prepared and knowledgeable, making for an auspicious beginning in a gorgeous environment featuring good prices for dishes that could be made to satisfy both carnivores and herbivores alike. I ordered the entire family style menu which was, according to Papa Llama, "designed to be tasted together, shared, and fought over." So much food for just over a hundred dollars. The prices may have been cheap but the taste and quality of (most) victuals valieron un Perú! A hearty Big Boy Thank You (Sulpayki!) to Kevin and Maria and the culinary dactylograms of their ancestors, on this amazing cuisine (Somaq Mihuna!). The first item on the menu was Olives--whole green Castelvetrano olives marinated in house with aji panca--which were so delectable I could eat them all day. Next, the Red + Gold Beets, a minty beet salad with honey ají amarillo vinaigrette, queso fresco, and candied pistachio, which started out smooth and creamy and ended with a pleasantly piquant bite. Papas a la Huancaína followed, a fingerling potato dish with spicy aji amarillo cream, wakatay (black mint) salsa verde, and beef chicharron, topped with a fried egg. The potatoes themselves were not the star, but the combination of flavors in the sauce were amazing, unctuous but smooth. Papa Llama carries a long list of natural wines, more wines than food items, actually. That evening, I chose the Yuzu Sake, and may I say, "Holy smokes!" How refreshing after consuming so many peppers. The rest of the dishes I would give 4.5 to 5-Stars, EXCEPT for the side of frozen Sysco French fries which almost ruined an otherwise stellar meal. There are over 300 kinds of potatoes in Peru. Over 300! Perhaps in the United States we don't have the same abundance as found in El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley) but, por favor, do not stoop to this! The Big Boy says, "Eat here. All the authentic Peruvian flavors at Papa Llama are 5-Star, but skip the fries, which are a corporate conglomerate frozen food disappointment."“

We had a great time drinking coffee and having the pop tart that was recommended, so good. Flakey, the right about of texture of flake and softness with some chocolate.“

He handled an influx of patrons after hundreds of MCO flight cancellations. He was the only person behind the bar and took my drink order, take out order and dine-in order without missing a beat.

“I go to Spill about twice a month. Once for great music and the other for fun trivia. I have to say that the two young woman who are always there are phenomenal! I don’t know if other customers notice how hard they work all night , but I do and I commend them. Always a smile , sweet and polite, fast with service! I really don’t know how they keep up, but they do , perfectly. To the owner, you’ve got two gems working for you.“
