“My husband and I were starving after picking up some items from usps. This is not our normal everyday area so we were googling resturaunts for a bit until I thought of Italian. We had our 2 year old with us and we felt as though we would be under dressed for how nice this place was on the inside so we sat outside. I have to say, they made us feel so welcomed. Robert was super attentive and so sweet. The host came over and talked to us and our 2 year old. It just made the experience so nice for us as its usually hard to go out with our kiddo. Food came out and we were blown away by everything. So happy we stopped by. We are adding it to our revisit list and places to bring family from out of town! Thank you!“
“Just ate here for the first time tonight with my parents. Impeccable service. Quality food. Very nice ambiance. Loved it! We order chicken Marsala, New York strip, the grouper, scallop appetizer, Caesar salad, bruschetta and deserts. We also had the for old fashioned, a mojito and the pear martini.“
“The entire staff was so friendly and the food was incredible. I got the crab cake benedict and tried some of my friends Catch, and my other friends chicken and biscuit bowl. It was all so good. We sat next to some pretentious jerk who complained about the taste of butter on his food (idk bro it’s a restaurant) and they kept trying to make him happy and basically cleaned the kitchen for him. The owner came out twice and they still weren’t happy. He was so patient with him and told them he would get a toaster for next time just for no butter. I would have punched him in the face. The owner then came and talked to me and was so kind and fun and told us about the history of the place. I will be a regular here until I die. They use just the right amount of butter for their dishes?“
“Papa Llama, 2840 Curry Ford Road, Orlando- 4-Stars Michelin Recommended- Bib Gourmand! Peruvian immigrants, Kevin and Maria Ruiz, say they founded Papa Llama in 2016 as an experimental pop up and opened the doors of this location in August 2020. In 2022, they earned the Michelin Guide's coveted "Bib Gourmand" award for establishments that serve good food at reasonable prices so naturally, I got excited. Paulina, my server, was well prepared and knowledgeable, making for an auspicious beginning in a gorgeous environment featuring good prices for dishes that could be made to satisfy both carnivores and herbivores alike. I ordered the entire family style menu which was, according to Papa Llama, "designed to be tasted together, shared, and fought over." So much food for just over a hundred dollars. The prices may have been cheap but the taste and quality of (most) victuals valieron un Perú! A hearty Big Boy Thank You (Sulpayki!) to Kevin and Maria and the culinary dactylograms of their ancestors, on this amazing cuisine (Somaq Mihuna!). The first item on the menu was Olives--whole green Castelvetrano olives marinated in house with aji panca--which were so delectable I could eat them all day. Next, the Red + Gold Beets, a minty beet salad with honey ají amarillo vinaigrette, queso fresco, and candied pistachio, which started out smooth and creamy and ended with a pleasantly piquant bite. Papas a la Huancaína followed, a fingerling potato dish with spicy aji amarillo cream, wakatay (black mint) salsa verde, and beef chicharron, topped with a fried egg. The potatoes themselves were not the star, but the combination of flavors in the sauce were amazing, unctuous but smooth. Papa Llama carries a long list of natural wines, more wines than food items, actually. That evening, I chose the Yuzu Sake, and may I say, "Holy smokes!" How refreshing after consuming so many peppers. The rest of the dishes I would give 4.5 to 5-Stars, EXCEPT for the side of frozen Sysco French fries which almost ruined an otherwise stellar meal. There are over 300 kinds of potatoes in Peru. Over 300! Perhaps in the United States we don't have the same abundance as found in El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley) but, por favor, do not stoop to this! The Big Boy says, "Eat here. All the authentic Peruvian flavors at Papa Llama are 5-Star, but skip the fries, which are a corporate conglomerate frozen food disappointment."“
“What a great experience at Slidders. I was in the area and craving pizza and the great reviews led me here. I got a supreme pizza, the meatball pasta bowl, and the Parmesan garlic bread. Everything was amazing. The pizza crust was not too thick, it was crispy, the cheese was perfect, the sauce had a good ratio, the toppings were very fresh. The meatball pasta was good as well, my favorite part was the sauce. The sauce tasted freshly made, it paired well with the penne, pasta and the meatballs. My absolute favorite thing was the Parmesan garlic bread. The garlic bread was fresh, it was hot, it had the right amount of Parmesan and garlic taste, and the sauce that comes with it is also amazing. I Don’t live in this area, but I will definitely be back and make it my business to continue to support this family owned business. Not to mention everyone in the establishment was really nice, they gave me great suggestions, and the customer service was Superb.“
“this is MICHELIN STAR grade. Easily. I went to the Fabio’s Table experience for Valentine’s Day and this was easily the best food i’ve ever had. mind you, i’ve traveled the world ALMOST. I’ve been to so many places and this is Unique. I admire the way Fabio executes his plates, while serving you as a friend. You grow to admire and love him as much as his work.“
“Went to Eola Wine Company a while back with some coworkers. It was a great time. Trying to find parking was a bit tough since I went during a busy time, and I ended up having to pay for parking. But the food and drinks were worth it. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seats to choose from.“
“We came in on. Wednesday evening. There was a good size crowd but we’re were able to get a table. We had a Margherita, and a Fig and Prosciutto pizza, a roasted Beet and Goat cheese salad and Olives. The salad was excellent, beets properly prepared and the salad well dressed. The pizza was authentic, wood fired oven Neapolitan. The wine selections are great but a good bit overpriced in my opinion. The service was excellent. Great place. Will return.“
“Great atmosphere! Very friendly staff! My only complaint would be the music. Always playing extremely loud pop music and it's very hard to have a good conversation on the patio sometimes. Otherwise everything is wonderful. Great beer selection and appetizers. They also always have other food trucks and craft vendors hanging around ?“
“I’m from Upstate NY and came to Orlando for a birthday retreat with my daughter and mother. We had just came from our hotel to grab a bite to eat. We were starving and needed somewhere close and quick white wolf was just that place. Initially, when I ordered, I wasn’t too crazy about my selection and the server, Amber was very helpful with alternatives. We enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we decided to go back the following day for brunch and it was amazing. The mimosas. I had the country fried chicken. My mother had shrimp and grits, and my daughter just had a traditional breakfast with turkey sausages but everything was really really good and the next time I’m in Orlando I’ll definitely be back!“
“Good place with gluten free options and generally good food, oriented towards a healthy style or with controlled calories. Pleasant atmosphere, with little light at night. They have a special menu for celiacs, vegetarians and those allergic to lactose. Good and varied gluten-free options, based on meat and vegetables. Correct and friendly attention. Being a celiac, I find it negative that they did not have a gluten-free panera or gluten-free bread for the hamburger, which is an important and simple detail to solve.Dietary restrictions: It has a menu with gluten-free, lactose-free and vegetarian options.“
“We had an amazing dinner at Bites & Bubbles! Our cozy table upstairs created the perfect atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious - everything from the appetizers to the green tomatoes and bison burger was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. What really sets this place apart is the service. Our server Matthew and Nick (Bubbles), one of the owners, was so attentive and charming. His recommendations were spot-on, and he frequently checked in to make sure we were having a great time.We absolutely cannot wait to go back and try more of their fantastic menu! Highly recommend this spot!“
“What a lovely gem in the middle of Baldwin Park. This natural wine shop has an amazing selection for such a small space. Heather is extremely knowledgeable. It seems like all you have to do is describe the notes you're seeking and she can find just the bottle to suit your taste.“
“My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here last night and had a great experience. It was our first time at Fleming’s and will definitely be back. Multiple staff members wished us a happy anniversary and even had our table decorated upon arrival. Dixon was our server and was super friendly and attentive. Honestly one of the best experiences we’ve had in a while. Thanks for making our night special!“
“The drinks, service, prices, and ambiance here were amazing! I am absolutely coming back. There was live music and couches to sit on. Also, I forgot the name of the drink I had because some drinks are seasonal, but it was so incredibly good! My boyfriend got the Panama By Van Halen By Gillian Carter drink and we loved it. Live laugh love Lil Indies!Kid-friendliness: It is 21+ and a bar. No kids“
“Always my favorite place to go!!! The best wine options and I love the different sizes available on their pours. Always fresh wine since it's using a coravin wine system (wine on tap). Their food menu is also pretty robust for a wine focused place; enjoyed the food here.“
“Absolutely incredible spot. Great bartenders, very expertly curated beer selection, creative sangrias, fun vibe, great music and is connected to the best pizza in Orlando. It's truly not to be missed, and I recommend to anyone looking for real Orlando culture.“
“The coolest bar in the Milk District! Tasty Takeover (multiple food trucks) on Tuesday night is awesome. Live music on first Fridays of the month is always spectacular. The owners are the only staff, and are the friendliest bartenders in Orlando. You have to check it out!“
“This is one of my favorite spots to have some wine with friends! The wine selection is large with reasonable prices. I love sitting in the back patio, which has large tables, fire pits, and string lights-- it definitely reminds me of Lagniappe in Miami if you have been! Sometimes there is a charcuterie food truck parked out back, so you can grab some cheeses to enjoy with your wine. Grape & Grain is definitely my go-to for pre-dinner drinks or a chill night with friends!“
“This is the 2nd time i have used BBD for an office lunch catering. Fantastic all the way around. They even provided place cards with the different dishes names on them. The platter and try sizes were very accurate and much appreciated. Will use you again!“
“We rarely have date nights and felt it would be appropriate to return to our old stomping grounds (bc - before the child). I became the wine shop customer in 2013, way before it became Digress Wine. The place then was dark, quiet and cold, just like a wine cellar, a bit uncomfortable to walk in, but had great wine selection. Then new ownership stepped in and with every visit the transformations started to take place: from updated interior to the wines brought from their numerous trips all over the world. Reading their newsletter is a special interaction for me: it is a skillfully crafted short story, full of imagery and passionate approach to wine as a cultural experience. Moving into 2023, after 4 years of active parenthood, we were amazed at how much love, effort, creativity, and positive energy was put into the place! I am not going to go into detail here, just want to say, the outdoor area was perfectly set up, with a touch of tropical garden, the lanterns and candles... and wine! Oh, the generous pour of rich and lucious wisdom! We thank the owners for beeing true wine enthusiasts, for creating the local place where my husband and I fall in love with each other every time!“
“Looking for dinner tonight, if you looking for great Thai this is the place. Jan was our waitress, she was polite and friendly took care of all our food requests and the food was the best. If you're looking for Thai be sure to ask for Jan when you arrive. The other waiting staff was terrific but we especially liked her.“
“Great cigar shop in Longwood. My first time coming here and the staff (John) was amazing and asked what cigars I like and he showed me an amazing full body house blend that is absolutely delicious. I recommend cigar lovers like myself to come here and enjoy because I'll definitely be coming back myself.“
“Had not been in years and was excited to see the upgrades. The building is beautiful, the staff was great from the hostesses to our go-to waiter Mr. NICK. He was great from his food suggestions to his superb service. The band was absolutely fantastic. So that you wonder why guys like these are not at Mahaffey Theater or Ruth Eckerd Hall performing. But not everyone needs fame and fortune to be successful or noticed. Hats off to them. Special kudos to them all. IT WAS A GREAT NIGHT!! and we'll be back. PS - A little update on the menu. Great choices, but not enough of them.“
“This place is a hidden GEM! weikiva springs was too packed to get in, so we came here instead. They have their own kayak rentals (or launch your own for $20 each vessel). The place is super cool with nice patio furniture, cornhole, super quality volleyball court, a huge dock along the river to swim/hang out on sitting on adorandak chairs and a huge bar with draft beers and frozen cocktails. They have a food truck too with great coconut shrimp, tacos, fish and chips, among other things. Definitely better than the state park if you’re looking for a more grown up gettaway. You can paddle to wekiva from here. Rick slings is a much farther paddled but you can get there from here as well“
“This is the only Italian place in Orlando I will go to now. It’s one of the best. I will only get the carbonara here. It’s phenomenal. The antipasto is fantastic. The cheesecake is to die for. And I’ve had the limoncello as well, it was very fresh and a perfect way to end a meal. Elvis was the best server I’ve had here. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wines they offered and his recommendation was perfect.I will always recommend this to anyone, especially people from out of town.“
“A little tardy in my review, but if I could I would give Cork & Olive 10 stars. The service was unbelievable. The food was fantastic. We had steak, pasta, chicken picatta, diablo something or other and let's not forget Mama's meatballs. The owner and his wife went out of thier way to make our time resemble the Italian family dinners I had growing up with our neighbors. Just with fine service and a bit more style. The gang doesn't get together as often as we like or should, so thank you for making this one of our most memorable.“
“Had an outstanding lunch here! Arrived around 11am and sat at the bar. My server, Travis, was very attentive and conversational, and I got my drink and food quite quickly! I ordered the chicken salad croissant with french onion soup as my side, and it was all very satisfying. The croissant was extremely buttery and soft, and the chicken salad was loaded with chunky chicken and tasted great! The French onion soup was textbook! Flavorful broth, very soft, thinly sliced onion, nice baguette and a nicely broiled cheesy top!Edit: Came back the next day for brunch and had a delicious plate of eggs Benedict w/ a side of breakfast potatoes. Would have been nice if the benny came with a side instead of having to pay 5 extra bucks for home fries, but at least they were excellent! Also, I think the benny could be improved with the more traditional Canadian bacon, but it’s obviously still good with regular bacon as well.“
“1/27/2024What a great time. The bar tender did a great job describing the wines and were very attentive which was impressive because of how busy it was. The crowd was older and since I'm older, I didn't feel out of place. They had live music and even though I didn't think the singing was great, the instrumentation was good and upbeat and the band members were a lot of fun. I had a slice of the chocolate cake and that was good too and contrasted the wine beautifully. Loved it!Original PostInteresting atmosphere, lot of people there so it was buzzing. Would have liked more beer options, but overall good.“
“Wow! My wife and I have been past this restaurant for years and never thought to come in as we actually thought that they were closed. We realized that we have been making a big mistake and we are already figuring out when to return. Everything that we ordered was phenomenal (Bruschetta, Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina, Carne Trio, and Cannoli.)“
