“Came in with my gf for dinner and it was great! Thai teas were very good, and we both ordered the pork pad tai and chicken tom yum soup. I really liked the portions and when they say hot they mean it. Our server was very nice and the service was very fast. I recommend getting the mango sticky rice as a dessert. Will be coming here again!“
“I have finally found a local restaurant that serves Hainanese chicken rice the way I remember as a child visiting my late grandparents in Lampang, Northern Thailand. Thank you Chef A.J. & Staff for serving me & my Thai family delicious Thai comfort food yesterday evening the way we enjoyed when visiting Thailand. We hope someday you will expand your tiny restaurant somewhere in Orlando to bring more of your delicious cuisine to the masses. In the meantime, we wish you continued success, & hope to be back to visit you again soon for some more of your delicious menu items.“
“My 31yo Son was hungry & beg His old Mom to order some Thai food from Mee Thai. I must confess I am a huge The Thai House snob & usually don't eat any Thai food other than from there, but since Door Dash doesn't go that far to deliver up here to the Lockhart area. Mee Thia it is! My Son ordered the Pad Thia & me being a huge fan of Penang Chicken Curry, that's what I ordered. Though me being a weird duck. I only like my Penang with Chicken, basil & extra carrots. I am NOT a FAN WHATSOEVER of ZUCCHINI or BELL PEPPERS! So, in my Door Dash "Special Instructions". I asked if they would please trade the ZUCCHINI & Bell PEPPERS for extra carrots instead? Well to my utter delight, Mee Thai not only accommodated my particular request, their Penang Chicken Curry was so Scrumptiously Delicious I licked my plate. Thank You Mee Thai for not only honoring my special request, but for going above & beyond & serving me a mouthwatering satisfying meal. You now have a dedicated fan & customer forever! ??❤“
“First visit, we liked the open, airy atmosphere with newish tables and chairs. Coconut chicken soup was really good. My salmon was a big filet, crusted and deep fried. Wonderful. Veggies were fresh and artfully cut. This place exceeded my expectations.“
“First time trying Thai food and it was delicious! The service was beyond amazing and respectful, so was atmosphere. 10/10 on everything if I could. I heard the parking was an issue a lot but I went around 8pm and it was fairly empty. Other than that I recommend this place. Will be going back very soon!“
“The restaurant is large and has many seats. The toilet space is very comfortable. There is an automatic aroma spraying device. The menu is rich. You can choose the dishes you want to eat. The food is served very quickly. The service is also very good. The food tastes good and is worth it. Come and try it! But it would be better if you could use chopsticks instead of bamboo chopsticks!“
“We always seek out a local Thai restaurant no matter what city we visit. We happened upon Thai Cafe and were not disappointed. The staff and owners were so friendly and accommodating. The menu was expansive and the prices were beyond reasonable. Our meals were fresh, hot, and larger than our eyeballs! Thank you, Thai Cafe, for an amazing experience. Much luck to y’all in the future.“
“Delicious food, fast service, very affordable. I work in the area and wanted to try this place for a while, was always affraid that because it's a sit down place I would not be able to make it in and out within my hour of lunch break, but the service was speedy, yet the food was delicious and the staff was very courteous and friendly.“
“Love this place. The food is spot on 90% of the time. Every once in a while there is an off day, but for the most part, everything is delicious. We usually get the Drunken Noodles or Pad Thai. The Pineapple shrimp dish is either amazing or disappointing (there is no in between). Don't get spicy (or even a little spicy) unless you can handle your heat. The owners of the restaurant are the sweetest people. We bring friends here often and everyone usually leaves happy.“
“This is the BEST Thai food place in Orlando . I have eaten at dozens and this is bar far the best. Quality of ingredients , flavor and spices . It is top notch . And when you ask for “hot” spice level and it’s actually spice . It’s a win.“
“The food is AMAZING here, on a marathon to try everything on their menu and reaching the point where it’s hard to pick a favorite. The flavors are so incredible I’d happily eat there every day of my life. The items labelled spicy are absolutely palatable, but if you’re a true spice enthusiast like I, just ask for it to be ‘Thai spicy’ and they’ll happily deliver the extra punch. Yummy!!!! 5*+“
“They put so much love and care into each dish. They load up on fresh vegetables. Everything is delicious that we have tried. Plus, they helped my friend out when her phone died and even remade dishes while she was waiting until her phone charged up. They gave us refills on Thai Iced Tea. They are so so so good. Best Thai restaurant Ive had.“
“On vacation in Orlando-we made a resi on open table but were running 15 minutes late. We called and they were able to accommodate us with no problem. Very cool physical space- only remark would be to dim the lights and add candles for better ambiance. Thai food really good with large portions.“
“The restaurant closes at 9 and their last call for food was around 8:30 on a Friday night. The same lady, which we can assume was the owner, was the server, the runner, the everything. She was the only one that attended the take out orders, the placing the order, everything. We felt a bit uneased as service is definitely not what we would praise about in that place. Their food was good and typical Vietnamese dishes.Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“We discovered this place because of our resort. It was in their coupon book. After reading the reviews we decided to go and try it out. What a great experience. Wonderful atmosphere and great food. The restaurant is adorned with authentic hand carved furniture from Thailand. Our servers were engaging and kept an eye on us. I would recommend this place for Thai food. Taste of the good was very good. Some dishes had a hint of sweetness even though they weren’t supposed to. I overheard the table next to me say his fried rice was sweet. My wife’s green curry had a hint of sweetness overall everything was good.“
“Obsessed! The food here is absolutely delicious. I've tried a variety of dishes and have never been disappointed with a single entrée. If you haven't tried this place already, I can assure you you are missing out on some quality dishes.“
“THIS PLACE PROVIDES EXCELLENT SERVICE ,NOT TO MENTION THE PHO IS ABSOLUTELY SUPERB! THE AMBIENCE OF ASIAN PAPER LANTERNS ADDS JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT TO THE EXPERIENCE. SHABU SHABU IS VERY CLEAN... PRICE.....INEXPENSIVE....AND WORTH IT!!)“
“Tasty food, lovely ambience, friendly staff. Liked the quantity and quality of the food. Very affordable and pocket friendly. Iced thai tea was very refreshing, cashew medley was full of crunch. Pad woon sun was prepared without egg on request. Spring roll was delicious and taro fries were a cool snacking option. Roti canai and coconut curry was super yum. Good one!Vegetarian options: Good amount of choices for vegetarians.“
“Thai food is my favorite food and this place is my new go to in Orlando!! The food was so good I almost teared up. Is a family owned restaurant and every person that came to our table had a genuine smile on their face. The flavors were perfect, the service was quick and on point, prices were unmatched. We will be back at least once a week!! Very happy that we found Thai Island ✨??“
“This has been a place where our team dine every time we are down at Orlando for work. Amazing food, good portions and friendly staff. Can't ask for more! Food is amazing and authentic. The presentation is also nice. (Sorry will share photos next time I take them.)“
“Popped in this restaurant when I had a layover. I loved their lunch menu! I had their garlic chicken and white rice. My husband had the noodles and everything was amazing. The Thai tea here is good. Service was fast and everyone was so nice. The restaurant was clean and if I'm ever in the Orlando area I will return!“
“I came here for the first time with some coworkers for a work lunch. We arrived before the downtown lunch rush so there were plenty of tables available. The service was quick and the two people serving are group were very nice. A bunch of us ordered the Pad Se-Ew with chicken and it was the first to come out. We asked for the spice tray as well and I added what looked like gochujang sauce which gave it the right kick to my liking. I like to order my Thai mild and add the heat on my own. Pad Se-Ew is different everywhere you go and this version was a little on the sweeter side. Other people ordered the house fried rice and pad Thai. Everyone was happy with their meals and we hardly had any leftovers.“
“it's casual cafe but love their foods... Starting with papaya salad and Tom Kha, a coconut milk soup that you can add any protein. I like it as it's full flavor but not heavy... Their seasoned fried fish is my favorite too along with fried rice. Grilled squid, sometimes a bit over cooked, so make it chewy...dessert, if you like sticky rice and durian, they have a good one“
