“I met 3 of my colleagues for lunch at Phở Akaushi Orlando yesterday. The CEO of the restaurant, Isabelle, was so warm and inviting! She introduced herself and made us feel right at home. The restaurant was extremely clean and the decor was inviting. We all ordered Phở that was fresh and tasty. The appetizers were delicious. If you are looking for a lovely evening out, I highly recommend Phở Akaushi where there is great food, and you are treated like family!“
“Excellent Pho at a reasonable price. They also serve Udon, Bento Boxes, and noodle bowls. We received a friendly greeting when we arrived at the counter to order, and when we asked for water with our meal we were offered free ice water rather than them pushing bottles (which are available). The food came to our table quickly with all the trimmings. The meat selection for the Pho catered to American tastes. The menu didn’t list traditional Pho options like tripe and tendon, which was fine with us! A great hidden gem.“
“As a frequent patron at this establishment and I must say, the food here is consistently amazing. I have tried all of their dishes and they are all delicious. From the Shrimp Pai Thai, Fish sauce Chicken wings, to their Beef Pho, everything is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience great food.“
“I went to this restaurant with the intention to eat next door but I noticed this restaurant for the first time. I was blown away by how nice the inside was. I had their vermicelli because it is one of my favorite dishes. Theirs was among the best I've had. The sliced pork in it was incredible.“
“I have been to many vegan restaurants & to my surprise, it is just so hard to find one when I travel to Orlando, FL. Fortunately, I found this restaurant in an Asian hood & it is definitely a keeper! Delicious Vietnamese vegan food & the price is very good as well. We had an amazing Bun Hue & Bun Rieu for only $12 each :) The desserts are great as well. I’d come back next time I visit Orlando. Oh, and it’s just minutes away from IFresh supermarket & Paris Banh Mi (great VN sandwiches).“
“Shaking beef is amazing. Definitely recommend it. Pho and other noodles dishes are good as well but the shaking beef is tender, has a great charcoal flavor and onions and sauce to mix with your rice. Coconut bubble tea was delicious and Vietnamese coffee made me feel like i was in Vietnam. The owner was hilarious joking with us. Highly recommend trying it out.“
“I ordered a pork banh mi, shrimp summer rolls, and a thai tea, and enjoyed them all! What you see in their advertised pictures is exactly what you get. The pork was absolutely delicious, and so were the veggies and the bread. You get a good amount of protein, and it's a rather large sandwich, in my opinion, so you definitely won't go hungry after, which makes it a great value. I like to eat half for lunch and the other half for dinner. The summer rolls were fresh and tasty, as was their peanut sauce (of which they give you plenty, too). The tea had great flavor, tasting very sophisticated (and it's a great value, too, because they don't fill your cup up with so much ice that you're only left with three meager sips of tea). All in all, I definitely recommend them. It can be difficult for some chefs to balance different flavor profiles in a dish, but they mastered it in all that I tried. Nothing was too sweet, spicy, savory, fatty, etc. They also pack their delivery orders with care! Will definitely stop by again to try out more from them.“
“My partner showed me vietnomz and it was already her favorite and since then it had also become mine. John and Ellanor always greet us and treat us like friends so it's always great to come back just for the chance to run into them again! (The fishbites are the best but she loves the beef pho.“
“Veggie garden is an Orlando hidden gem. It is a modest, barebones restaurant, and smells so good inside. With all vegan items and plenty of gluten-free options, it is an amazing place for dietary needs. The owner was very accommodating, explaining what had gluten and what did not. The food came out pretty quickly. The food was flavorful, fresh, and affordable. I really enjoyed the fresh roll, and I still dream of their fantastic chili garlic topping (pictured here). We got the fresh rolls, vermicelli, and buddha bowl. After ordering, I had major FOMO (fear of missing out) and if I could do it again, I would choose the multi-entree option, where you pick up to 3 different entrees to mix. Honestly, I wanted to try everything on the menu. I was particularly fond of their pickled daikon (comes on the side). The food in their deli case also looks very good and you can order their many vegan proteins, sides, and sauces to-go. Thank you for a delicious meal, and I will be back very soon! Gluten-free note: apparently the soy sauce is all gluten-free but they re-used the old containers on the tables so it looks like regular soy sauce. Not sure how that works for those who are super sensitive, but from other reviews it does not seem to be an issue.“
“This was a fantastic recommendation from some locals for plant based lunch. All of their dishes are vegan and almost all of them are gluten free. So freaking delicious! And so many options to choose from. We got the Amazing Spring Rolls as an appetizer and No. 15 & No. 27 for lunch. All were amazingly delicious and nutrient dense. We couldn't have asked guys a better way to end our Orlando culinary experience.“
“Was visiting Orlando from Boston and ordered take out here twice for breakfast. Where else can you get Banh Mi and viet iced coffee at 8 AM!? It was so delicious. Got a variety of banh mis: combo, thit nuong, chicken and their bun Bo hue tastes great too. The second time I ordered, the man from the restaurant called me right away and said that I accidentally ordered twice and he will refund my money for the extra order. Such an HONEST establishment - THANK YOU. Really great place and delicious food.“
“Pho yeah! ??Those of you who follow me know that I just returned from Vietnam. I was in Ho chi Minh City three times. This is the first time in the 30 years I've lived in Orlando that I have actually gone out of my way to visit the ViMi district outside of downtown. This is a real authentic restaurant. ?I know. I was there in Saigon. They have inside and outside seating. They will ask you if you would like to share a table. There is a waiting list. Typically the shared table is outside on the back patio right next to the parking lot. They will take your order while you sit outside and wait and when your table is ready they will bring it to you. They are very busy and very efficient, especially on the weekend.??For myself, I had the small bowl. The one right above the child's bowl and it was plenty for me. Especially if you get the veggies to add to it. It's a lot.But if for some reason you are super hungry, you can take the giant serving challenge. This bowl is easily a gallon and a half. You get 1 hour to eat it all and they will give you $100. If not then you give them $50 LOLTremendous amount of food and reasonably priced. I know because I was there LOL. Meaning over there, ?? The only real difference is you don't sit on the sidewalk on tiny plastic child seats to eat. Parking: There is a parking lot directly behind the building but it fills up quickly. This is a popular place!“
“Great food. The menu is limited but the flavors are on point!!! A bit disappointed that get things they sell are all available to eat on the spot. Their ice coffee was very strong and delicious. The few items we tried from their menu were fantastic.! Will have to come back to try the rest.“
“My partner and I were craving some Bánh Mì and after discovering this place on Yelp, decided to stop by on impulse. It was the perfect find and the delicious food satisfied our cravings! My partner got #9 and I got #7. We traded sandwich halves and were glad we did because they both had different flavor profiles, but were equally yummy. The staff were also very nice and accommodating, answering questions we had about the menu. Only downside was the limited seating but considering it's a lovely hidden gem inside of a supermarket, we were happy to inhale our food in the car. We're already looking forward to our next visit!“
“Omg!! That was legit a great Banj mi!! The baguette was just perfect. If you're in search for an authentic bang mi, you need not look further. This place is it!! The bread is so good, wish I could pick one up everyday. The sesame donut is tasty too. Will definitely be back to try everything else.“
“Tried the 'Che Bap,' a sweet corn pudding featuring a blend of corn kernels and sticky rice, drizzled with coconut milk for a pleasantly chewy and sweet sensation, enjoyable both warm and cold. Also sampled the pomelo pudding, which offered a chewy texture and a refreshing taste. It might become a bit repetitive over time, as it's relatively straightforward.“
“We were tired of hotel + theme park food and decided to stop here on the way to the airport on our way out. Everything we had was incredibly fresh + wonderfully flavored! After walking for hours, we rested + replenished at Z Asian! Vegan menu was perfect and we even got to meet Huong (chef)!“
“The staff were friendly and excellent. The owner came over to see how we were doing They accommodated our special requests with an excellent attitude. The food was good!Vegetarian options: Vegetable pho. Summer rollsDietary restrictions: Vegan. Order extra veggies in the pho“
“Every time I go to Orlando it is a must stop to try Pho. The flavor is incredible. By adding all the ingredients it becomes a unique dish. Everything fresh, it is a soup loaded with a lot of flavor and aroma. It is light, but sustained by the rice noodles and protein, also because the dish is huge. My favorite restaurant for 3 years in Orlando.“
“#73 Chicken CurryPho VinhYesterday I asked for recommendations for Pho Vinh off of Colonial Drive.Dee Le-Smith recommended the Chicken Curry. At this point anything Dee recommends.. I will trust and try.The staff at Pho Vinh were incredible. Kind, chatty and informative. My chicken curry soup arrived to the table pipping hot. It was absolutely delicious. Sweet, creamy and loaded with lots of chicken and noodles. To my surprise there was several chuncks of sweet potatoes. Absolutely decadent.11/10 I’m exited to try more!“
“I'm happy to say this place didn't disappoint! We went on a Thursday night to celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival, they welcomed you at the door and walked you to your seats; everyone was friendly and inviting. The place is gorgeous, spotless, and modern, with a big counter table where we all sat. It was only eight people, which made the experience very intimate. We had the Early Spring menu, and the food was delightful, with an exciting approach to Vietnamese traditional dishes! We don't eat beef, and they were very accommodating! My favorite dishes were the black chicken and Spanish Sole, rich in flavor and with incredible presentation. The menu is well thought out, but on a personal note, I felt it was missing an extra course. In these restaurants, you never expect to leave stuffed, but I also don't wish to go a little hungry, especially when you have an elevated price tag. There is one dish where the chef offers a white truffle “enhancement.” the price isn't disclosed until the end, which is a weird concept. You can always say no, but then you feel missing out on something the chef recommends. I wonder if there is a better approach, like disclosing it when making your reservation or something like that. The wine pairing is top-notch, and I highly recommend it! The music was a little loud, and the playlist was somewhat out of place. There were a few viral songs from TikTok that I didn't expect to hear at a high-end restaurant.I am so excited about this addition to the neighborhood; while there is some room for improvement, this restaurant is good and on the right path to the Michelin star.“
