“I want to start off by saying that I walked into this restaurant 30 minutes before it closed. I know that I was the jerk in this situation. I had a bad day at work and really wanted to try raw oysters for the first time. The staff at Hook & Reel were so accommodating. The staff didn't make it feel like they were closing for one second. The customer service from my server, whose name was Drina (sorry, I dont know the spelling), was out of this world. The guest service that I received was classic Disney quality. The attention and experience we received were exemplary. It is hard to believe that I enjoyed myself this much when I walked in to a return 30 mins before we closed. Even if you don't like sea food, eat here, have fun, and enjoy the experience of what prioritizing customer service looks like.“
“Ordered through Uber Eats and was delivered very well packaged and in window of time expected.First, I have to say this was my wife's first time having crayfish and she LOVED IT! It was a good sized order and seasoned very well. All of the food was extremely good.Definitely worth going or having delivered.“
“A very casual & great seafood place. The owner was very personable. Really loved her. She helped with our order, and the portions turned out perfect for a group.of 4 adults & 2 young kids.Highly recommend the seafood boil, the calamari w/fries were perfectly fried!Parking: Park in front of the street, same in the back lot. It's a shard parking area with limited availability. Go early for better chances.“
“Went to Universal on the High School Band trip & it was my daughter’s 17th birthday. We had 1 hour until the charter bus left & we let our waiter know that. He was extremely friendly & accommodating. Not only did they make sure the food was brought out extremely fast but they also got the to go boxes & check to us fast. Also brought her dessert & sang to her getting the entire restaurant involved. All of this and we made it to the bus in time. Food was great as well. I highly recommend the stuffed shrimp. Thank y’all so very much. You made her birthday so very special.“
“food amazing as always. ordered to go he told us 10 mins we sat at the bar to wait and grabbed a drink (bartender was amazing) the problem was i realized we had been sitting for 45 mins waiting on our to go order while the guy who was taking to go orders was sitting down on his phone not worrying about anything claiming he didnt see us yet he looked and walked past us multiple times and still went to just sit on his phone.. normally not one to write reviews but a 45 mins wait over someone sitting on their phone while our food just sits there and is dead food at that point.“
“We stayed in the resort in the beginning of March, 2024. Our first night we went to Boatwright’s for dinner. There was a little bit of a wait (about 15 minutes) at 7pmThe interior is very nice. They had the fireplace going. Very comfortable with a nautical theme. The server was excellent! Very nice. Very well-informed. He had great advice on what we should order. He was very attentive too.He brought out some cornbread for us to enjoy before our food arrived. I am not a huge cornbread fan, but this was the best cornbread I’ve ever had! So moist and sweet. Not grainy or dry or bland. Just perfect! Try to not fill up on it!I ordered the blackened salmon with dirty rice and steamed green beans for my dinner. It was an actual blackened salmon. A lot of places say they have blackened salmon, but it’s not. This was, and it was cooked to perfection. Very soft, tender, juicy, and full of flavor! If you want to eat healthy, this is a great option. My sister ordered the fish boil. She loved it. Ate every bite! It looked and smelled really good. Plenty of garlic in it.My nephew ordered the Cajun fried chicken with mashed potatoes. We were told by our waiter that they have amazing mashed potatoes and he wasn’t lying! We all tried them and they were excellent! Like your grandma used to make. Even though my nephew is only 10, and ordered from the adult menu, he still ate every bite of his meal. No leftovers for us!Our meal was reasonably priced. It was the perfect amount. We really enjoyed everything about our meal and will definitely be back again. I highly recommend this place if you’re staying in resort.“
“I’ve been searching high and low for Haitian food that tastes like my boyfriend’s mom made it and I finally found it! I’m heading back there now as I type this actually lol.My boyfriend and I both had legume, sos pwa, and diri blan and it was amazing. Oftentimes Caribbean food can cause my stomach to burn after I eat it because of the grease, but not this plate.I highly recommend this place, especially if you’ve never tasted Haitian food before because this is what it should taste like!Sorry there are no pictures, once I tasted it, I had to just eat it lol“
“If you're craving a taste of the Gulf Coast in Orlando, look no further than King Cajan Crawfish! My experience at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional, earning it a well-deserved five-star review.First and foremost, let's talk about the staff - friendly, helpful, and truly dedicated to ensuring your dining experience is top-notch. Their warmth added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. Now, onto the star of the show - the crab legs. Freshness is key when it comes to seafood, and King Cajan Crawfish delivers. The crab legs had the perfect snap to the shells, a sign of their freshness, and the meat inside was plump and sweet, just as it should be. I opted for mine plain, with just crab, butter, and lemon, and each bite was a delight.Speaking of portions, the market price for a pound of snow crab was reasonable at $34 per lb (two clusters), especially considering the quality. I couldn't resist ordering a second serving of the legs,I ordered when starting on my second cluster ,ensuring that each bite stayed piping hot and delicious. And let's not forget dessert! The homemade doughnuts paired with ice cream were the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.Overall, King Cajan Crawfish exceeded my expectations in every way. From the impeccable seafood to the attentive service, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Cajun cuisine in Orlando.Do not judge the food by the location, for it is far from the glitz and glamor of Disney Springs fancy new restaurants that charge $60 plus dollars per person. The "King Cajan Crawfish" building is a functional establishment, not the best condition, it shows some age . (but don't we all ?) remember you did not come here to eat the building, you came here for the food, especially the best snow crab legs in town . ***** five stars !!!!“
“As a vegan I always have to be creative with what I'm purchasing if Im Out and about.I always get their fries , potatoes and corn without butter just seasoning.I've been going to this location for some time.I will say the fries are good but not as good as they use to be. A little skimp on the seasoning.Other than that everything else is good.A perfect place to get food without spending an arm and a leg.“
“Good food and beverage options based on the New Orleans theme that is Pat O'Brien's heritage. The surprise was the dueling piano bar and the quality of the performers and level of customer participation. An enjoyable time and would happily return. Tip: when ordering the wings, ask for extra sauce as the ramekins are small.“
“Some of the best seafood I have ever had. The restaurant is sort of sketchy location but has amazing food and I will continue to go to this restaurant probably once a week for takeout. As a college kid on a limited budget, this place has AMAZING food but does not break the bank.“
“I recently dined at this charming restaurant and was thoroughly impressed! What truly stood out were the captivating pictures they provide. The photographer has a knack for capturing the essence of the dining experience in each shot. A definite must-visit!“
“Delicious! We live in a coastal town and hopes we would find something that was close to home - if you’re looking for the real deal this is it. The portions are very generous, the food came fast and was even better than we expected.I had the garlic noodles with shrimp. The “small plate” was not small. You get your monies worth. The shrimp were a good size - no little skinny shrimp here. If you’re looking for a taste of Cajun food - give it a go!“
