“It was my first time eating at Kalalou and it was a great experience celebrating my fathers’ birthday. Our server Olivia was amazing! She checked up on us periodically and made sure we have everything we needed! Good job Olivia! My family and I will definitely come back.“
“This is probably the best fish and rice I have had in years but I was unsure why it was 70$ for one fish and one portion of rice and passion fruit, I did feel a bit fooled but then again I showed the cashier photos grom google reviews of 2 fish and was told that yes 2 fish were 50$, somehow ended up apyong 70$ for 1 fish plantains and rice... so I enjoyed it but might not come again based on this alone.“
“If you ever want a plate of food that reminds you on home.. Then Blessings D is the spot. I love her cooking and the passion she puts in making the plate special. I will now be buying all my take out kreyol food from here. I give it a 10/10“
“I’ve been searching high and low for Haitian food that tastes like my boyfriend’s mom made it and I finally found it! I’m heading back there now as I type this actually lol.My boyfriend and I both had legume, sos pwa, and diri blan and it was amazing. Oftentimes Caribbean food can cause my stomach to burn after I eat it because of the grease, but not this plate.I highly recommend this place, especially if you’ve never tasted Haitian food before because this is what it should taste like!Sorry there are no pictures, once I tasted it, I had to just eat it lol“
“During Thanksgiving, I didn’t have time to cook Haitian Mac and cheese for a Friendsgiving, and thankfully they were able to provide a 1/2 platter hot and ready within hours. I was beyond happy with how inexpensive it was as well as delicious, and the service was great as well.“
“Great beach restaurant! Food was delicious and staff was interactive. Owner was friendly and helpful. Great team service. Drinks especially the Bloody Mary were delicious and didn’t skimp on the alcohol. Dined there multiple times during our stay in Sapphire Beach ?️“
“So glad I found out about this place! I got the chicken, Mac & cheese, and djon djon rice, and it was all so delicious and flavorful. If you’re thinking about trying this place, do it. The people were friendly too! Will definitely be back.“
“This is my favorite Haitian restaurant right now. It replaces Adventel Restaurant, another Haitian eatery that used to occupy this space. Even though there are tables and a counter, and an operating bathroom, this place functions more like a takeout window than a restaurant. I have come here many times already and very happy that they are still open, but I am yet to see people sitting down at the tables having dinner. It may change in the future. The food is excellent here. I always order the gryot, pork chunks, that comes with plantains, rice and beans, and salad. The pork is perfectly fried, never greasy or fried in subpar oil. This meal comes with a delicious sauce to dip and pour on everything, and the traditional pikliz or spicy cabbage. I must say that when this place first opened, the pikliz was spicy, as it should, but now it is less spicy. Either way, it is fresh and tasty. If food doesn't trigger you to visit, maybe knowing that the owner is an immigrant Haitian woman may motivate you to stop by. Support your community, support diversity, support culture, support authentic food, and finally, support GOOD FOOD!“
“Cici Restaurant is amazing, I recently just moved to Orlando and so far she's one of the best where to get food to eat, I drove 30 minutes to get my plate of food, I if tell you her food is good , believe me.Parking: Parking is free, you can park anywhere.Kid-friendliness: U go with my baby all the times and i also told them, Ill be outside with my baby and they always make sure to call me whenever my food is ready.“
“Idk what people tripping about. the food is good and stuff they gave me good service when I forgot to get money, out my car they just gave it to me for free, I love, this restaurant, and would come here every, day I meet some of my. Haitian, people coming there. That's how good, it is.Kid-friendliness: They love kids like LOVE LOVE kids“
“The food is very delicious, the customer service was top notch, the lady and her husband was very friendly and they really have the senses on how to run business by the way they take of the patrons. I know how to cook Haitian food very well but, their food was the best that I ever ate in a haitian resto.Every-time I’m in the kissimmee, Orlando area… I’ll stop by to buy more.Keep doing the great guys.Johnny all the way to southern New Jersey.??“
