“I really enjoyed Bahama Breeze! It is a chain but, the food was very good. I had the filet and my husband had the skirt steak. Both were cooked perfectly. The rum drinks were over the top good too. ☺ we even got key lime pie to go that was so big and so good!“

“Hadn't been at this location in quite some time (years). I was never thrilled with the crowds, loud music and so on. But today, Father's Day, I was treated there by my daughter and what a pleasant surprise. A total 180 degree change. Service (Adam) our server, fantastic. Food was excellent. From apatizer to main course, and left with a to go bag. Yes crowded, but pleasantly crowded. You could carry on a conversation. Atmosphere, tropical with some island music. It was good. Hope it stays like this. I'll be back.“

“I recommend this hotel but not Amatista’s Cookhouse. My family was very disappointed. We ordered a whole rotisserie chicken that cost $50. We expected the chicken to feed three people. We were shocked to see the size of the chicken that was brought to our table as it was extremely small. Not only was the chicken tough to break apart to put on our plates, but it was also hollow in the middle, lacking meat. This restaurant should be ashamed of themselves for charging $50 for what they call a whole rotisserie chicken when it didn’t appear to even be half of a rotisserie chicken. Also, we never received bread and butter at all, during our dining experience, which I believe was included with our meals. To say we are disappointed is an understatement however, we will never be dining at this restaurant again.“

There was jerk and curry chicken rice n peas festival, rosta pasta,callaloo, fruit,salad Upgraded options were 70.00 each PLUS 16 for oxtails. So we spent 86.00 per person.“

“The food at this restaurant is on point! We wanted the feeling of a Caribbean Home cooked meal for Thanksgiving and they nailed it! The Salmon was light and fluffy, the stew chicken and jerk turkey were succulent, and of course the rice and peas, macaroni and potato stuffing all tasted like they came straight out of grandma’s kitchen!!!! The catering service provided by Ojah and the team was greatly appreciated. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!“

“Alvin’s is definitely my #1 spot in Orlando for Caribbean food. We’ve been going here for a very long time and now that I’ve moved out about an hour away from Orlando, anytime we are in Orlando, it’s a must to stop by and get food from here. My favorite is the Chinese fried rice with the pork and chicken and don’t get me started on the garlic sauce. That sauce makes everything 10x better!! “I've been visiting Freddy's kitchen for 6 months once or twice a week. The food there is excellence. The Brown stew, chicken oxtails, curry chicken, the made to order, even the patties. This is one of my favorite spots, small Jamaican. Good food restaurants. I've tried many others in Orlando. This is one of the best ones I found. The service is top-notch place is always cleaned. I recommend this Jamaican restaurant to anyone originally from New York. So I know jamaican food from queens, just like home.“
