“I can't even begin to convey how wonderful our dining experience was. It all started with Chris, our server, who simply was just awesome. He was spot on with the recommendations for both tapas and dessert. The food was delicious, but what really made the night special was Chris and his attitude and attentiveness. We need more Chris in the world!“

“The food was AMAZING!! I had the Painkiller (and after walking around all day, it helped!!) and the chicken with cilantro-crema sauce. It was VERY good! Others at the table had the plantain bowl and the jerk chicken bowl. Plates were empty when we left. Our server was training and did an EXCELLENT job. Our order was accurate and arrived timely. She was very attentive to our needs and was polite, not rushing us. We will definitely return!!“

The food is seasoned nicely, and although I wouldn't call it super authentic - it's as close to real Caribbean spices as I've ever gotten from a large chain restaurant like this. “Bahama Breeze is a great place to have a business dinner, the atmosphere it’s very nice and the dinner menus offer a wide variety of selections. Everyone was very pleased with their dinner choices. I would recommend the shrimp pineapple bowl. There’s so much it will feed two people, but the presentation is beautiful as well as tasting delicious!

“I recommend this hotel but not Amatista’s Cookhouse. My family was very disappointed. We ordered a whole rotisserie chicken that cost $50. We expected the chicken to feed three people. We were shocked to see the size of the chicken that was brought to our table as it was extremely small. Not only was the chicken tough to break apart to put on our plates, but it was also hollow in the middle, lacking meat. This restaurant should be ashamed of themselves for charging $50 for what they call a whole rotisserie chicken when it didn’t appear to even be half of a rotisserie chicken. Also, we never received bread and butter at all, during our dining experience, which I believe was included with our meals. To say we are disappointed is an understatement however, we will never be dining at this restaurant again.“

“The food at this restaurant is on point! We wanted the feeling of a Caribbean Home cooked meal for Thanksgiving and they nailed it! The Salmon was light and fluffy, the stew chicken and jerk turkey were succulent, and of course the rice and peas, macaroni and potato stuffing all tasted like they came straight out of grandma’s kitchen!!!! The catering service provided by Ojah and the team was greatly appreciated. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!“

It was enough of the dressing where it is not too much. I wanted more. (I am not a fan macaroni salad ????, but macaroni salad was just right.)The conch Lanbi is not dry where it is over cooked or hard. It taste perfect and tender. My parents are picky eater. “Alvin’s is definitely my #1 spot in Orlando for Caribbean food. We’ve been going here for a very long time and now that I’ve moved out about an hour away from Orlando, anytime we are in Orlando, it’s a must to stop by and get food from here. My favorite is the Chinese fried rice with the pork and chicken and don’t get me started on the garlic sauce. That sauce makes everything 10x better!!
