This was my second time trying Krispy Krunchy Chicken. First time was in Corona, Ca. My order.... Dark Chicken Meal - 3 piece chicken a honey butter biscuit. I paid extra for 2 sides, I chose the red beans and rice and Mac cheese and ordered 2 blueberry biscuits. The chicken was nice and crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. For a place with a name like this one would expect really crispy, crunchy chicken. Sadly not so here. Not nearly as crunchy as their most direct competition. As for the sides the beans and rice was pretty good but the mac-n-cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy both taste like they came from a box. I mean, I eat mac-n-cheese from a box at home but to pay more for one serving at a restaurant than a whole box at home seems pretty sad and I would expect at least a little effort to...read full review

Gritty hidden gem in the ‘hood. KKC tucked away inside this gas station might look rundown but the food makes up for it. Jefe running the chicken counter is friendly and eager to please his customers, always hooks you up with just a bit more to show you how much he appreciates all his customers; this keeps you coming back every time. Don’t let the local area scare you off too much. Worth it for a true fried chicken lover!
