“Stopped here after church, first time. The staff went out of their way to explain the menu. I got the Asiago cheese bagel and my husband got the French onion soup bagel. Outstanding. We will definitely be back. So fresh and yummy. Loved the texture of the bagels. Soft and chewy.“

“Fast, efficient service. I prefer shopping and supporting local business vs corporate giants. I got a dozen to go and all the donuts were a hit. Fresh and tasty, and everyone asking for the location. I was surprised they have a drive thru and serve hot breakfast sandwiches along with bagels and spreads! We will be back. I would gotten a picture but the donuts were wiped out in minutes.“

“Great service and the food was absolutely delicious. What really stood out to me, though, was how gently and respectfully the team interacts with their elderly staff, it was genuinely refreshing to see.

The ladies working behind the counter were incredible. Each of them was deep cleaning with so much care and attention to detail. You can tell they take real pride in their work.

As someone who’s worked in food and beverage for over a decade, I can confidently say these women are model employees. Their work ethic did not go unnoticed.

“If I’m feeling extra hipster, I really dig Foxtail Coffee - specifically the Winter Park location on Orange Avenue. It’s charming in a handlebar moustache kinda way, and I’m always drawn to working on a screenplay in one of the tight corner spot. They have cool implements of caffeinated wonder, and some other edible treats that can keep your mojo in a fluid state.

The location on Lee Road has none of that. It’s a purely drive thru model, more of a Kia version of the Rolls Royce. I had a mocha recently, and in shot form, it was pretty decent. I tried to sit outside on the patio, but the traffic was a distraction. In the summer, this will be a zero-sum game.

If you’re looking for a solid alternative to Starbucks, I can give Foxtail a firm thumbs up. Be sure to give the breakfast sandwich a whirl. And if you’re craving the coffee shop vibe for some creative deliberation, they do have some cool spots - just not this one.

A good choice for a pick up and roll.
