“I’ve been coming to Brooklyn Bagels regularly for a couple years now. I know the staff, I’m friendly, I tip, and I genuinely like the place — which is why this is frustrating to write.
The issue isn’t one bad order, it’s consistency.
Yesterday my bagel wasn’t cut, barely toasted, and had cold butter. I brought it back (first time I’ve ever had to do that), and they fixed it.
Today I get this — over-buttered, uneven, still not properly toasted, and honestly just sloppy.
This isn’t a complicated product. It’s a bagel. Cut it, toast it, butter it, serve it hot. That should be the easiest thing to get right every time.
When you’re a regular customer, you’re not expecting perfection — just consistency. Right now, that’s missing.

But this visit they were closing so they were limited on what they had.. my coffee was cold they didn't have Creamer. But overall I like this place and I can't give it a bad review for one bad visit“
