“Everything is recommended at stuff a bagel, cherry cheese danishes, white fish salad, salmon/lox sandwiches all piled high, bagels and cream cheeses are delicious, the owner works hard and is very communicative with her customers, this place is an asset to port Charlotte, they also use boars head cold cut meats on all there sandwiches, absolutely delicious“

“This is a hidden gem in Summerport Village on the shore of Lake Speer. Family owned with a delicious menu and a cozy café vibe. Definitely a go to in our routine.“

“Very nice people and good food! I had a chicken Philly and my friend got a bagel with blueberry cream cheese. Both were good and the even came outside to make sure we were happy! I would go back for sure.“

“Bagel king is an amazing company. They are consistent, reliable, and obviously have wonderful products. Courtney was my go-to representative and always answered all questions promptly, helped us out when in a crisis, and she even would just pop in with seasonal flavors to say hi and bless us with the goodies! She is wonderful and so is the entire team.“

“If I’m feeling extra hipster, I really dig Foxtail Coffee - specifically the Winter Park location on Orange Avenue. It’s charming in a handlebar moustache kinda way, and I’m always drawn to working on a screenplay in one of the tight corner spot. They have cool implements of caffeinated wonder, and some other edible treats that can keep your mojo in a fluid state.

The location on Lee Road has none of that. It’s a purely drive thru model, more of a Kia version of the Rolls Royce. I had a mocha recently, and in shot form, it was pretty decent. I tried to sit outside on the patio, but the traffic was a distraction. In the summer, this will be a zero-sum game.

If you’re looking for a solid alternative to Starbucks, I can give Foxtail a firm thumbs up. Be sure to give the breakfast sandwich a whirl. And if you’re craving the coffee shop vibe for some creative deliberation, they do have some cool spots - just not this one.

A good choice for a pick up and roll.
