“Looking for a good place near Universal to celebrate my new lead who has Halal restrictions, so I asked around and tried this out. I got the combo which has chicken that is very similar to tandoori and lamb, which is a lamb/beef mixture like donair. I like their blend here, very tasty and juicy with some caramelization on the edges. This is all on top of the most perfectly cooked rice; it’s like they prepared each grain individually, no sticking. I got extra red sauce with white and green sauce, olives, tomato and cucumber salad and peppers and onions for like 12 bucks; unheard of around here. I will be back.“

“that was our first time at the One Lounge, the atmosphere of the place is amazing the music is nice and not load, you can chill and have a conversation and hear each other , we ordered the fruit platter which was huge like 2lbs ,we also ordered the chicken shawarma and beef shish, juicy and yummy, the hookahs we ordered came with pineapple head and the beautiful server offered to make me a special tropical blend that would go with the pineapple flavor and it was the best shisha I ever smoked in 25 years, she also suggested I pair it with tropical passion fruit tea that was refreshing , my husband order the raspberry tea and he loved it....the true highlight of the place was the two amazing servers working there , they are welcoming, pay attention to details and their attitude is great, I can't recommend this place enough. don't miss it.“

“It may have been a little hard to find. But when I tell you this little food truck smells incredible before you even walk up to it! This thing was almost as big as my car's seat! I wasn't expecting this big shawarma! Smells incredible, will definitely be back!“

“I love the food here, and try to stop in at least once a month. One of the better Middle Eastern/Mediterranean places in the metro and they seem to be trying to keep their prices reasonable. The interior is not fancy, but it doesn’t need to be.

I think I’m going to stop using the app, though. Both times I did, the person at the counter played it off well but it was obvious they hadn’t seen my order. “It’s coming out shortly” turns into a 15 minute wait as they start preparation. Just a minor gripe, though, because the food is still worth the wait.“
