“I visit the Heathrow location almost every day. My experience is usually good. Today, however, was not so good: the floor was dirty, the tables were not clean, my wife's coffee order was forgotten, no napkins were provided with the order, and no napkins were in the napkin holders on the counter. When I brought the dirty floor to the attention of the person who took my order, he showed no concern. An additional staff member entered the shop and observed the dirty floor and tables, but no one seemed to think it was their responsibility to take action. I'm not sure if a manager was on duty. After my wife and I finished our meal (20 minutes), still no floor or table cleanup took place. I wanted to share this as I love this business and would not want new customers to lose the opportunity to love it if this may have been their first experience. I tried to reach out via the Contact Us form on your website, but it does not allow a comment to be submitted. I continue to be a huge fan of CFS and will see you tomorrow.“

“Today my daughter and I enjoyed Mother’s Day tea at this lovely tea room. From the moment we walked in, you could feel the warmth and friendliness from the staff. We were greeted right away and taken to our table. My daughter tried a caramel tea and I tried a Hawaiian tea, both were excellent. The food was nothing short of spectacular. A special treat today was the live harp that was being played when we walked in. What a very special touch for Mother’s Day. I had a wonderful conversation with the owner and what a true gem she is. Owning this tea room is her passion and it shows in every detail. I would highly recommend anyone to come enjoy this charming tea room!“

“I have driven past this place countless times and never stopped and boy am I glad I did today. I pre ordered online before going to pick it up. When I arrived my order was ready and they had it chilling in the fridge/freezer so that it wouldn’t melt while waiting which I appreciated. We have too many favorite flavors to list, but I want to personally shout out to any of the monthly flavors that have been dark chocolate based; there is nothing better to cure a bad day than the chocolatiest of chocolates, and this is that! Always great service from Andy, the freshest waffle cones/bowls, and always has all the flavors in stock. Ample parking and seating indoors and nearby outdoors to suit your fancy. Consistently perfect! Ferncreek 9/10 - The ice cream is great, and the outdoor area is adorable. Parking is a little rough but it’s a historic area and understandable. Horizon West 10/10 - Stellar waffle cones/bowls, special products, and the best indoor seating. Winter Park 7/10 - A little cramped and no indoor seating, but when the weather is nice the outdoor area is cute! Special shout out for the oatmeal creme pie flavor only available here. Waffle bowls tend to be stale. Winter Garden 9/10 - Extremely friendly service and fresh waffle bowls, we just wish it was a standalone for easier access and less crowding. Hunter’s Creek 7/10 - Stale waffle cones and less than fresh ice cream, but we love the ample parking, wide variety, and proximity to our home away from home. Sanford 5/10 - The only disappointment we’ve had trying so many locations. Waffle cones so stale you can bend them like rubber, and the unfriendly coffee shop staff manning the ice cream counter unwilling to make fresh cones. Ice cream itself is stale and not at all on trend with the Kelly’s brand and stellar reputation. “Sold out” of multiple flavors, and one case has a broken light and door. Just seems like this location doesn’t get the same TLC as the rest.“

I stopped by Planet Smoothie in Orange City after a day of shopping in the plaza, looking for a quick snack to end my day. Parking was easy as I found a spot right up front. Upon walking in, I was warmly welcomed by Brayen, who made sure I got exactly what I was looking for.

I wanted a protein smoothie that was low in calories and lactose-friendly. Many whey protein powders contain lactose, but Brayen suggested a thoughtful solution: substituting the whey with their pea protein, which was perfect for my dietary needs. I ended up choosing the Big Bang smoothie, which typically includes strawberries, banana, and vanilla whey protein. Thanks to Brayen’s helpful suggestion, I swapped out the whey protein for pea protein, making it both lactose-free and a great option at only 290 calories. It was exactly what I needed to satisfy my sweet craving while staying within my calorie limit for the day.

Brayen was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain different smoothie options and ensuring I found something that worked with my diet. I appreciated how she made me feel comfortable and didn’t rush me through the process. She even let me know that I could switch out the whey protein for pea protein in any smoothie, which is amazing for someone with dietary restrictions like mine.

I’m definitely looking forward to coming back and trying other options on the menu. The Chocolate Chimp smoothie, for example, has cocoa, banana, and vanilla and is only 230 calories. I’ll definitely be swapping the protein again next time! Overall, I had a great experience and will be returning soon.
