“Service was quick & food was good. My kids wanted a second order of the fries! I thought my daughter’s planko breaded chicken fingers were really good! My husband got one of the chicken and bacon sandwiches. If you like spicy - get the pepper sauce on the side for sure. Blessed to meet the owner and hear his mission with his restaurants which only made me want to support him more!! You walk up to order & eat at the picnic tables outside which was nice for the kids to have laid back dining. Might have to try the gator bites before we go back home!“

“The Porch serves delicious Acai Bowls, my personal favorite is "the tropical" and I love their blueberry crumbcake ice/hot tea! Also, they now serve amazing sandwiches and kumbucha! I love the Pina Coloda one! We live 35 minutes away but are regulars because how excellent their food and service is!“

It’s a pretty fancy menu but that’s what they’re going for - and nailed it. A broader selection of local craft beer would enhance my personal experience slightly. “This is the first Kava bar I ever tried and now I’m hooked. The drinks are pretty strong and you get your moneys worth. The vibes are good! For me it was an intimidating atmosphere at first and I would get my drinks and go. Now that I’m a regular here and actually stay and hangout, I’ve gotten to know so many people that I enjoy seeing! As someone who doesn’t drink alcohol, it’s nice to still have a “bar” for socializing. The best part is they have BOGO hours throughout the week, as well as the clover app that helps you earn rewards. So although I choose to spend way too much of my money here, this helps offset it which is great! Just FYI - this is a dog friendly establishment and although most of the dogs are very sweet, some of them are large so if you’re afraid of dogs just a heads up. Last thing - eat before you come because they only have chips and slim Jim’s and you don’t want to drink this stuff on an empty stomach. There are multiple restaurants to walk to in the plaza though, so it works out.“

“We found Third Wave Cafe & Wine Bar on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive Ins and Dives show and we are impressed! The food, the service and the atmosphere is excellent. We started with the Bagna Cauda which is a delicious French baguette served with warm olive oil garlic Confit, aged balsamic vinegar, fresh herbs, Parmigiano Reggiano, fire roasted veggies and anchovies. For our meals, we shared the Creste de Gallo which was a delicious fresh made pasta, broken scallops, Florida rock shrimp, semolina pasta, mushrooms, artichokes, cherry tomatoes, capers, tossed in scampi butter & pecorino. We also shared a Burrantina pizza, hand-crafted Burrata, house mozzarella, Parmigiano Reggiano, Peruvian pepper relish, baby arugula, charred artichoke, basil pesto, tomato, tomato sauce, balsamic glaze EVOO. The food was delicious and we took leftovers home for lunch! Definitely recommend this place if you're in New Smyrna Beach!“

“The live singer lured us in from the street with her angelic voice on Saturday evening. My husband and I had been snacking throughout the day so we were just looking for a drink and small bite each. I had their clam chowder and could have screamed it was so heavenly tasting! Generous amounts of clam and the broth was peppery-perfect! Our server Melanie was spot on recommending the courtyard mussels! I have never ever tasted mussels so delicious. The goat cheese, bacon combo was genius. We can’t wait to go back and enjoy more from the menu. Melanie was really a highlight for us throughout our time there, very well timed service and her overall demeanor was lovely. One of the few restaurants I've ever been too with mac and cheese that had a cheese stretch, it was delicious. The burger I had was well prepared and cooked right. “I recently visited Outriggers for drinks (Friday happy hour), as it was my first time there. The ambiance was pleasant and airy, with a boat dock nearby. An entertainer sang and played the guitar, which added to the lively atmosphere of the happy hour. The clientele appeared to be affluent and a cheery bunch. The drinks were of good quality, but seating at the bar could be limited. For dining, reservations are recommended. Although I did not dine there, the menu looked appealing, and I heard positive comments about the wagyu sliders. I intend to return and sample some of the cuisine.“
