Very nice place. The building is over 100 years old and has a nice old world charm. The food was very good. They are known for their steaks and have some specials usually posted on the board. The ribeye was really good with the coffee crust. The glazed salmon was also very good. I love the Deland stockyard I live just a few blocks away from it. When I bought my house that was the first restaurant my son and I ate in and we both just loved it. The services is great. The food is great. They've got fantastic hamburgers that are bigger than what you can put in your mouth. They are just loaded with wonderful thingssuch as shredded onion rings. Try it you'll like it.

All in all, it's just a regular dining experience. Boom boom shrimp appetizer was best. Chicken platter was underwhelming. Salmon was pretty good. Sides were all good as well, but not great or a wow. I would only recommend getting a steak if you eat here. Not much attention is paid to anything else. Perhaps the dessert, but we forgot to order some before leaving.
