“We are new to the area and found our favorite place to come & have fresh, amazing seafood! Tonight it was the Seafood platter with blackened white fish & jalapeño hush puppies, topping it off with home made salted Carmel cheese cake! Service was beyond spectacular! We found our regular local spot.“

“Stopped by on a drizzly Saturday afternoon. Nearly had the place to ourselves. Small, simple menu. Of course we had to try the clam chowder. Probably the best I've ever had. They definitely earned those award ribbons!
I ordered grilled shrimp and hush puppies and bf had the sampler platter. Blackened. Our shrimps looked exactly the same so I guess mine were blackened too ??♀️. It was definitely very fresh however I feel they went a bit heavy on the lemon. Hushpuppies were sooo good.
Considering how empty it was we found the service slow for having so many employees there but they were nice.“

“BEST RESTAURANT IN LAKE COUNTY. WE HAVE AMAZING SERVICE each and every time we are here- the owners are amazing, the service is always top notch. Madisen, April the bartenders all of them are phenomenal. We are regulars and come every weekend. Best place ever“

“The freshest, most perfectly cooked and seasoned food. My mom had the crab cakes and they were exploding with flavor and beautifully presented.
My wife and I are vegetarian. The salad was crisp and nicely prepared, onion rings were lightly breaded and light, and hush puppies were exceptional.
Waitress was a pleasure and even came back to check an ingredient to see if we ate it.
Also, a very reasonable price. Highly recommend this gem.“

“We tried with some friends during Magical Dining. I understand it a reduced menu for a lower price but no sides at all with your entree, and to substitute a gluten free option of sorbet instead of the three options is a charge. The appetizers were good and our entrees were good. Our server, Jasmyn was excellent.“

“So nice to have some good Cuban food!! Our waitress was so sweet.. made my kids miss their abuelita! She took good care of our table and even looked concerned when we turned her down on bringing a second basket of bread to the table!? -the food was delicious from the cuban bread to our garlic cuban sandwiches to the palomilla steak sandwich. The restaurant is a nice atmosphere to sit, talk and enjoy good food!.. of course we ended the meal with a delicious colada! Definitely recommend when you're in Mt Dora for an authentic Cuban meal.“

“We came here via pontoon boat with a large party. The service was pretty good, but the food came out a bit cold and one of the orders was forgotten or left sitting and came out when we were ready to leave which was disappointing. If we come back in the future I'll change the rating to five stars if things are different as the flavor of some of the food was good. We had the herb Cajun redfish with asparagus. I must say the baked potato was completely dry and room temperature and I would not order it again. Stevie/ Steven was our server and was quick and attentive with drink refills and did his best with our large party along with another lady who was helping. I would guess that if it were not for the fact of us being in a large party the few problems I mentioned would not have existed and I definitely recommend giving them a try!“
