“This place is lovely. The staff is amazing they’re welcoming courteous and patient and serve you with beautiful smiles. The menu is not overwhelming big but has enough variety for everyone. The coffee is phenomenal the best I’ve had. The bagels a fresh soft with the perfect little crisp.I ordered the sugar free caramel macchiato iced and the jalapeño bagel with cream cheese.My partner order the skinny flamingo refresher and sausage egg and cheese on a garlic bagel everything was delish and fresh. I would recommend 100 times over!! Will be returning soon!!”

“The food was delicious. There should be more lettuce, onion, and tomato served as a side of the plate. The "pico de gallo" salsa for the nacho chips should have fresh cilantro and more lime juice. The drink lids leak too easily from the rim.”

“New owner( not sure how it was before) Best brisket ever! I don’t eat brisket, but my husband us and I managed to wipe out my plate! That’s how good it was! Going back today for more before we head back to New York! Excellent service also! Can’t wait for lunch today! (the only thing is what they called Texas toast really isn’t. We had toast that was warmed, not toasted and margarine smothered margarine on top. Real butter would be amazing along with actually toasting it more! Potato salad was awesome too!”

“One if the BEST food trucks in the state! I've been to quite a few in many states and this one has the perfect variety of food. Steak subs were so delicious! And my family is hooked on the burritos ?! Best ones I've ever had! If you go, definitely get the watermelon dink! You won't regret it!!”

“My favorite lunch combos: Cuban sandwich with the plantains and a cortadito or the egg rolls and a Thai tea and add either of the pastries or flan or tres leches... seriously, you won't be disappointed. Always hot and always hits the spot ?”

“This is a not so fast, fast food place so atmosphere is what it is. It's a fast food joint. That being said, the reason it takes longer than most fast food restaurants is the majority of the food is cooked to order so when you order it is when they start cooking it and when you get it it is fresh and hot and really good. I really love that they have the best grilled chicken strips. They are plenty big. They have good flavor and they are cooked really well. They are not overly dried out or anything like that. To be honest with you, I've never tried the hamburgers here, but I would imagine that they would be as good as any other hamburger. I come here for the chicken whether it be grilled chicken strips or little fried chicken wings. I come here for the chicken.”

“I think a 4.5 rating would have been a little more appropriate. We really enjoyed the food, although it wasn't nearly the best we've ever had. But it tasted fresh and well cooked and it was a perfect amount , so I don't see any reason to knock a star off for the food.We liked our waitress, but she was taking a lot of time to ask us if we needed anything after we finished eating. We wanted to order dessert, but waited a long time, as I suspect she was busy cooking for another customer. I get the feeling it's a small family room business so I respect that. But, if you are in a hurry just be aware of this possibility. I'm sure if you mentioned that you are needing quicker attention she would be happy to comply.The coffee was absolutely delicious. I'm not sure what their magic is. For dinner we had a chicken and a chorizo authentic taco, and those were my favorite. So fresh and tasty. We had hot chili sauce with it. I did not care for the green mild sauce at all . We also got the gordita and sopa because we have never had these before. This type of shell is not my favorite thing, but I think a lot of people might like it. I found it to be heavy. However, the contents inside were wonderful. We also had the flan and it was very good.The prices are more than reasonable. The location is very convenient, with parking right outside. It was walking distance to the Inn we were staying at.Before I wrap up I need to say that the ambiance/ atmosphere was what tipped me into the five star category. The music was very nice and tasteful, the setup made it intimate and cozy, and it has a modern yet relaxed vibe. I loved the decor and if I lived nearby I think I would eat here very often.All in all, I think anyone in the area should check this place out. I wish these folks a lot of success.”

“Hidden Gem in Umatilla! We ordered online, and it was ready when promised for pickup. We got a quart of vegetable fried rice, and an order of General's Tofu. Both were excellent, and we are fussy about our Chinese food. The tofu was cooked perfectly and the sauce was yummy. The fried rice was just right, not oily at all and full of flavour. We will definitely eat here regularly! It was not busy when we went.”

“Umatilla location is GREAT! I order here about 1-2x per month thru app. Subs are always fresh, ready on time. Very small location inside Circle K but employees always working hard. I ended up here after no service in Eustis at Woodland Center and I left. So glad I went to Umatilla, great ladies who are always efficient and helpful.”

“Super Speedy takeout.... just pulled in and they are totally out of chicken original extra crispy and it will be 35 minutes before I can get chicken at KFC on a Wednesday....Poor or clueless ”

“Most trips everything is fine or good. Kinda hit or miss in the past, but seems to be improving. Food is always fresh, 2x missed my childs apples but made up for it next trip. Definitely like Umatilla better than Eustis! We always use app + drive thru.”

I give them something like a five for nice elevated dining with delicious fancy foods and impressive, exemplary hospitality on a level you don't see often enough anymore, in a beautifully curated arty modern space. I don't mind throwing good money down on food and an experience worthy of it and 1921 delivered, mostly. Was looking forward to the deviled duck eggs as shown on the online "example" menu but they didn't have them on the day. Shoot. And while I realize this is supposed to be an experience, we waited well over an hour for our mains to come out, long after starters and cocktails ran out, and I was about done, restless, and feeling full. So, whatever was special with the mains was sort of lost; at least on me. Our bill was also messed up, they double charged us, and took even more time still, to fix.”

“5 Stars all the way around. This is a fantastic location for a great lunch with friends. The atmosphere is very quaint, charming, relaxing, comfortable...I could go on. I am so glad a mutual friend recommended it to us.Our server explained that everything is made from fresh from scratch and that the chef has been with them for over 20 years.I started with a nice craft beer and a bowl of the Irish Whiskey Onion soup. The soup was very good although I used my knife to cut through some of the cheese and fried onions. My bride ordered a sangria and a mushroom burger. The savory chicken sandwich with fries was ordered by two of us and the Philly sandwich with fries was ordered as well.All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we had no room for dessert. While our meal for two cost over $80, it is a bit on the pricey side if you decide to have 2 beers, a sangria, soup and 2 sandwiches. But it was worth it!This is a great place to dine. We dined on the main floor but you should check out the bar and lounge upstairs as well. Or outside. Just loved The Goblin!”

“Not your cookie cutter corporate watered down donut selection. Boston creme filled donuts were superb. All other assorted donuts were fresh and delicious. The line was out the door when I arrived, but it moved quickly and efficiently. “A Hidden Gem by the Lake!Fish Camp Lake Eustis is a delightful restaurant with a lovely lakeside setting. As a local favorite, finding parking, seating, and getting your food can take some time during peak hours, which should be expected anywhere, but I can assure you it’s well worth the wait.Many of the negative reviews I’ve read here seem to be left by pretentious people who think the world revolves around them. Listen, if you’re polite, friendly, and respectful to staff your servers will notice and appreciate your kindness. I visited for lunch during a weekday. My hostess/server seated me promptly, provided me a menu upon seating, brought me a beverage right away, and got my order in very quickly. She stopped back several times to check in on my experience and to see if I needed anything, was able to provide me with a guest WiFi password, and even brought me a small to-go cup for my Coca-Cola. Kindness begets kindness, people. Remember that.All in all, Fish Camp Lake Eustis is a hidden gem in Tavares that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious food, beautiful views, and friendly service.Parking: Limited number of spots in the restaurant parking lot, but people park on the lawn on a property across the street. It can get busy here so finding parking can be difficult.”

“This restaurant has the best Mexican food in the state, IMO. We lived in Arizona for 20 years and miss real Mexican food. My husband had the enchiladas and I had the carne asada. Everything was great. The restaurant is clean, service is excellent and food is great.Parking: Parking is tough. Street parking is the best option, but hard to find a spot on weekends.”
