“My family stopped in today before we caught a flight home today. My aunt and uncle live in Mount Dora and visit there often. My mom and I were visiting from Saint louis Missouri and was our first time there. I really wanted to give a shout out to your waiter that was working this morning around noon!! He was a superstar running around like crazy today. He was taking orders, seating customers, and cashing out customers. There was only one cook and one busser/dishwasher. Apparently 2 people had called in sick and he was so busy he couldn’t even call for someone to come in to help him. The crew this morning definitely deserves a raise. Unfortunately I didn’t get their names. But they all did a great job.“

“I ate at the Tavares location for lunch yesterday and had the chopped pork sandwich with fries and sweet tea. Amazing!! Tonight I got the brisket sandwich with mac and cheese and baked beans… even more amazing!! Best brisket I have ever had! Mac and cheese was amazing!! Sweet tea was amazing also! Highly recommend!!“

“I know this is a chain, and that there is an expectation of standard service. However, that was not the case at this location. We stopped in on our way back to Seminole County, from the flea market, just looking for a decent meal, with no fuss.

Well, what we got instead was phenomenal service, despite being obviously short-staffed. And the food? Absolutely perfect.

This was easily the best run Longhorn I've been to, in a very long time. Great people, who genuinely care about the good they serve. We will definitely be returning, next time we're out that way.“

“Kaylee our server was amazing. Super sweet and tentative. The only issue we had tonight is why were waiting my husband went to the bar for a drink and the bartender wouldn't even look at him, the bar back advised him through the bartender that we couldn't have a drink while waiting which is fine is the policy has changed but she could have at least looked at my husband not talked through the barback. On top of that people were waiting outside with drinks. Since I am the one who saw people outside with drinks I decided to go to the bar and ask myself and was completed ignored when I made eye contact with the bartender. Instead she avoiding even speaking to me and just stood at the back of the bar talking to another employee. Long story short she was rude and should really think about a job change.“
