“My wife and I went to 1921 for brunch. I had an Old Fashioned Cocktail along with some Quail Poppers and the Prime Rib Sandwich. The Old Fashioned and the Sandwich were excellent. The Quail was a little dry, but still pretty good.My wife got the Waygu Burger which was really good as well. This place never disappoints.“
“Happened to find this little spot by accident but glad we did. It's obvious that it used to be a gas station and it was really nice to eat outside. Good food, great service and food came out quickly even tho every table was full. Go and check it out.“
“First visit to the new location. Staff was very friendly and professional. They appear to have worked out the kinks of opening a new establishment. Food was what I called upscale takeout. You order at the counter and then take a number to your seat.Food came quickly and fresh and hot. The custard expresso toffee was delicious.I would definitely recommend this location to all.“
“The first time I went this place was great! As soon as I was seated I was assisted by a server, and then I got my food and drink about 5 minutes after, the pictures hung up are nice but it's a bit too much dogs in my opinion.Going for a second time and I'm going to see if it's the same. Oh and they just give out their refills of drinks without asking, it's great for me honestly.“
“The food was great, my husband loved the prime rib. The waitresswas very friendly to regulars but barely made eye conatact with us, all business. She offered my husband au jus with his meal but he never received it. The host was so so awesome!“
“Just stopped in for a quick bite after an antique show in Mt.Dora. The entire staff was very welcoming, any questions we had were quickly answered. The food was 10/10. I ordered the bbq pork chop platter with mac and collards and ohmygosh! So yum! Falls apart in your mouth. Try out some other sauces too! The curry chicken was seasoned to perfection. Will be back!!!“
“When it comes to the food, if you've been to one Waffle House you've been to them all. What makes the major difference for me is the staff. The staff at the location is fantastic. They are friendly, courteous, and great with my kids. You really feel welcome no matter the time of day. This is a great Waffle House.“
“The service was top notch. The staff was kind and professional. So many items on the menu sound amazing. We had The Queen Brie and The Mondial - we both loved the Queen Brie just because we liked the flavor profile better but both were delicious. Would def come “
“My husband & I enjoyed dinner last night at Beef’s in Mt Dora. Our waiter was Kaden, he’s such a hard working young man! Not only was his service on point, his attitude was awesome making our dining experience outstanding! Highly recommended- not only the food but next time you go, ask for Kaden! Way to go Management, you have a rock solid team!“
“Megan at Froggers is amazing! We eat here a few times a week for lunch. We are greeted with a smile every time! Feels nice to walk in have a seat and she just puts in our usual order. Can’t say enough good things about her hospitality when we are there. The GM is amazing as well he is always making sure things are running smoothly so we as guest are able to enjoy ourselves.“
“Located in a strip mall you might miss this from the street. But it is worth crossing the railroad tracks to eat here. I had the meatloaf special with 2 sides, in my case fried okra and macaroni and cheese, and it was excellent. Reasonable price for a good sized serving.“
“Our last visit was bad, the server took 20 minutes to come to our table. We ordered our meal and asked to change some items. The server said he had to check with the manager. 20 minutes passed, and finally returned and informed us they couldn't substitute. The Manager Mike come over to us and did a made it happen. Mike SAVE THE DAY.“
“4 of us friends from The Oak Run Community took a bus trip to Mount Dora for shopping, to see the area and have lunch, of course. After walking and walking by the endless sales tents and stores in Mount Dora we found a gem of a place for lunch at Goblin Market. This restaurant was obviously renovated from a former house, in itself...it is charming, beautifully decorated and aesthetically pleasing. There are outside tables, tables on the main floor and tables up stairs where we were seated. The stairs are a wee bit steep but there are railings to use for safety. Bairn, our server, was friendly, efficient, polite and gave us great service with a smile. I ordered a Savoury Chicken Sandwich with home-made chips...yummy! The 4 of us were more than satisfied with this choice to have our lunch.“
