“My family stopped in today before we caught a flight home today. My aunt and uncle live in Mount Dora and visit there often. My mom and I were visiting from Saint louis Missouri and was our first time there. I really wanted to give a shout out to your waiter that was working this morning around noon!! He was a superstar running around like crazy today. He was taking orders, seating customers, and cashing out customers. There was only one cook and one busser/dishwasher. Apparently 2 people had called in sick and he was so busy he couldn’t even call for someone to come in to help him. The crew this morning definitely deserves a raise. Unfortunately I didn’t get their names. But they all did a great job.“

“Best BBQ joint in Tavares that's for sure. My go-to is the single Lunch Express special with Jerk Chicken and baked beans. Their brisket chilli is so good too, packs enough heat to warm your house, plus the staff are really nice. 11/10 experience.“

“My kids wanted to take me out for Father's Day a few days after the actual day and asked me where I wanted to go. I chose Longhorn in Mt. Dora and I'm really glad I did. We had a fantastic dinner experience there. Matt, our server was very attentive but didn't hover over us before we ordered and during our meal. My son and I both chose the 20 oz. Outlaw Ribeye and I'm so happy I did. It's rare that I eat steak these days because it is so expensive in the grocery store but it was also so worth it to order one for my Father's Day Dinner with the kids. It was AWESOME. My daughter had Shrimp and Chicken which was also very very good. We weren't rushed by the staff, the food came out on time and we had a great dinner with alot of conversation which was priceless for me since I don't ever get to go out with my children without their spouses and or my grandkids ( which by the way isn't bad either, I love being around my grandkids ) Anyway it was a memorable dinner and I hope that we can do it again sooner than later. The food was awesome, the service was great and I will always remember it.“

“We had a death in the family last month and I’m just now getting a chance to leave this review. Last month my daughter & I visited the Perkins Restaurant in Mount Dora on US 441 & Spring Harbor Blvd. We were greeted immediately & accommodated to a booth not too close to the entrance. I was truly grateful for the awesome service & privacy to discuss some aspects of what the next several months would look like. The manager passed by & said hello. I just had to grab his attention to tell him that the food was completely outstanding! In fact, I needed a little doggie bag. The portions were large and filling but most of all delectable! I was so pleased! I met Dwayne, the Mgr & told him I thought the food portions were decent & truly delicious! I cannot wait to go back! What an experience! And, our server made sure our cup was never empty. I cannot wait to go back. The ambiance was perfect and I felt the server respected our privacy as well. Love Love Love this Location! Especially with someone like Mgr Dwayne running this location; oh yes, we’ll be back and we most certainly be back. Maybe next time I will visit with my Book Group. I’m truly pleased with the great food & service. I can’t wait to come back.“

“Alyssa waitresses on Tuesdays in the bar and she is FANTASTIC! Fast, polite service, and made sure everything was great which it was! The 10.99 chicken sandwich was HUGE AND DELICIOUS! I could only eat 1/4th of it in one sitting! No worries, Alyssa had all the to go boxes we needed! Great date night out made better by Alyssa and her food server!“
