She is the the reason I refused to leave town until eating here. When we 1st walked in we had just eaten lunch elsewhere and simply window shopping but after chatting with Amanda and the samples she gave us, my husband started working on extending our BNB reservation for an extra day. “Ok so lemme tell ya. I got the full rack ribs which were incredible fall off the bone moist and just good flavor. The bbq sauce was on point as well. I tried the spicy and the sweet. Highly recommend for sure. The collard greens were super delicious with good chunks of meat as well. And lastly the Brunswick stew was mighty tasty as well. Deff give this lil spot a try if Yur in the area.“
“We are sooo... lucky to have Oakwood right here in Eustis. We've had some great BBQ in our lives, and Oakwood is some of the best. Wifey thinks their ribs (special $ during the week) are as good - or even better ! - than back home in Chi-town. That's a real compliment. Their pulled pork sandwich special (includes a side and a soft drink) is well worth it and delicious. Strongly recommend. Love their takeout. People are helpful and friendly.“

“Today i went for the 1st time to the Barnwood Bar-B-Que restaurant after almost 4 years since i moved from Puerto Rico ?? to Eustis...WOW...if i happened to know this place was so good I'll never had waited for 4 years...but is was worth it! Let me start with the server...she was amazing and took care of everything in a timely matter...she welcome me like family...her service was outstanding...i order the special that was the Baby Back Ribs with 2 sides...i did the mac & cheese and french fries...and a slice of garlic bread...everything was fresh,hot and delicious! So kudos to the kitchen staff! Everything was clean and organized...nice atmosphere i mean...overall it was 5 stars! And then when I was walking to the car i finally met Dan the owner that i happen to follow on Facebook because like me he has a passion for bird photography...we talked a little bit about birds and places to go birding...nice to meet you Dan and you have an excellent restaurant and staff...congratulations!! ✌️??“
