“My wife and I had recently traveled to Boston and did our own little dumpling tour of Chinatown as we found this to be such a thrill on social media with great advice on TikTok. While we were in Orlando, I found dumplings and Rice Rolls at One stop Dumpling that looked delicious, so we drove over and ordered an assortment of dumplings and rice rolls. We were going to take them to our resort, but it smelled so good we decided to enjoy them fresh right there in the car. They were all so good. If I had to pick my favorite, it would be the shrimp rice roll. The service was great and my order was ready rather quickly.“

“I ate there for the first time and my I add I spent 23.00 which I wasn't complaining about but I ordered the pulled chicken quesadillas, to start I have no idea what cheese it was made with but the cheese did not blend or mix well when melting the tortilla shell and I guess to avoid the burning issue they took it out but it looked like fake cheese with a little bit of chicken here and there. no sour cream no salsa. OK. then I ordered the maccaroni and cheese... that looked luke kraft Mac and cheese out the box and seemed to havr been made with a powder product cheese and not real cheese either. then I also added corn bread which I didn't see it was jalapeño cornbread. I was immediately taken aback by peppers in the cornbread. I guess that is a south thing. not too bad just not my cup of tea. and lastly the baked beans they were ok not bad but for the entire meal I had to put it in the garbage I couldn't eat that at all. I wouldn't recommend and I will not be going back either. the picture is me trying to eat the quesadilla without the nasty looking cheese on it and even that didn't save it.“

“Yum, Yum, Yum! I was invited to lunch at Papa Diesel's Restaurant on my visit to Apopka, FL. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the entire experience was a treat. A friendly family atmosphere greeted me at the door, with the added touch of care that was immaculately given to every detail. The aroma from the kitchen activated my taste buds, as I stared mesmerized by the extensive menu. Finally, I decided to go for the “Diesel Sampler”. The brisket was so succulent that it melted in my mouth. The ribs fell from the bone with such flavor that no sauce was necessary—the pulled pork I used to sample the homemade sauces. As I was told, the sauces will soon be available in the local supermarkets (as I can attest to becoming a family staple). Needless to say, the sausage, chicken, and sides all met with the same flavorful standards. Ending my meal with a dessert, I enjoyed the peach cobbler and shared a nibble of key lime cake with my date. It was an enjoyable afternoon, sharing special time with loved ones in a loving environment, dining on food prepared by Papa Diesel, who loves to cook for folks, and making them feel at home!“

“I am so happy that my favorite tofu stew place was open for lunch. Got to see Cherry and her sons who are the owners. Kevin, Jericho and Jerome are the three brothers that run this place. They are the nicest family run restaurant. I love how generous they are and how hard they work everyday. I’ve frequent here with my family for awhile. They have the best tofu soup. I always go with the assorted tofu soup and their popular stone bowled bibim bop. They also have really good galbi (marinated steak) and variety of side dishes. “Excellent bar service with well-crafted, made-to-order cocktails (no batched drinks), and drinks can be ordered to go. The menu appears to rotate, and the Marshmallow Old Fashioned was especially good.

One note: the menu image someone posted has outdated pricing. One drink was $17, but most were $18–$23. Some of the higher-priced cocktails come in plastic souvenir cups, which may not appeal if you don’t want to carry a sticky plastic cup around all day.

We also ordered several food items. The biscuits were delightful, the mango bread was fantastic, and the chicken was tender and falling off the bone. The meat platter was tasty but felt a bit pricey for the portion (one chicken leg with a small amount of pork). We upgraded with the mac and cheese, which was creamy and delicious, and appreciated having a non-fried option despite wishing the meat portion was larger.“
