“Went for a birthday get together. 1st time going to a place like this. We had Lee as our wait and he was amazing did a remarkable job in dealing with our groups nonsense and joking around. The salad bar actually had cooked wings,spring rolls, mozzarella sticks and fries. It was a good option while we waited to cook the food at our table. Spicy salmon, garlic shrimp and steak was my choice. Oh and the cheesecake was great as well. But Lee was definitely a great waiter hands-down.“

We were a larger party of 15, so this was impressive service.The kids were happy and had a good time. We had been here a few years prior and got to experience the revolving food line which they no longer have. The meat was so fresh and tender. “Another great quick service addition to the Margaritaville area! Has a walk up counter where you place your order. Had indoor, outdoor patio, and also tables with umbrellas out front. Great place to sit and eat if you have pets. Food is brought out to you, but does not have table service. Chicken tenders were very good, sides were large size and flavorful, the Kickin Cobb Salad was very good. Large enough portion for two of us to split. Looking forward to coming back.“

“We got there at opening, so not busy at all. The waiter was right on top of everything! The food, not so much. You could tell that it wasn't being attended to. Both the steak & the chicken were overcooked. A bit charred for Parmesan crusted chicken and medium rare steak was mostly medium. We didn't complain as we waited a good while for them to come out as it was. Worth trying them again though; because of the service.“
“My wife and I were in Florida for the week. We love brisket and took a chance on Big John's due to reviews.It didn't disappoint. We actually drove the 20 minutes a second day for our last meal here.It has a " classic rock" theme and quite cozy. Also has a large patio.Will return once back in Orlando.“

The "captain" of our boat was super friendly and very informative and made sure our visit was great, if you plan in visiting this place and going for a boat ride I recommend the night tour it's definitely worth the experience seeing the animals in thier natural habitat you're eye will be scanning non stop!“
“I had the best server I had the entire time I was in Florida at this restaurant. I wish I remembered her name. I did tell her she was the best server we had though. “I'm not Spanish, nor have I had much Puerto Rican cuisine. The entire menu is Spanish with no translation, so bring your Google translate. The service was nice and helpful. They were aware we were first timers and made sure we liked the food... which we did! The super combo was generous and tasty, with well-seasoned and juicy chicken, pork, and longaniza. Loved the yuca and rice with pigeon peas. The green banana side is delightfully different. Be sure to ask for their garlic sauce.“

“The server Pinto was great. The portions were larger than we were expecting, the nachos alone are worth coming back for. Great seasoning with the queso and chicken was very good. The fried pickle slices had a very good breading on them and were very flavorful. The pulled pork was good, but the nachos were top tier.“
