“Love the staff and food. Tried the restaurant after the renovation and the new items added to the menu are awesome. Everything is hot and fresh. Home made pickles are a tasty garnish. The French fries are lightly seasoned and thick crinkle cut. Golden texture is great and you don’t even need ketchup. The pulled bbq is our fav along with the Mac n cheese. Best out there. The owner comes around to Check on the tables and the staff are so friendly, you feel like part of the family. Can’t wait to go back. Breanna was our server tonight and she is sweet as the bbq sauce and took great care of us, great service.“

“Food is great - pulled pork tacos are my favorite, with fried okra of course!! Friendly staff, large portions at a great price - you can’t go wrong. Go on .. you won’t be disappointed!“

“Very cozy, I loved all the pictures of old southern BBQ's. Reminded me of Florida in the 1950's. My wife loved the food, if you can satisfy my wife you are doing it correctly. I loved the food also. I know we will be back. You are now our go to when in the area.“

“We always have a lovely time at Ovation Davenport. Even went to Lakeland the other day the food was great but the atmosphere was not the same. Tonight Jason was our server. He was rocking it. He was friendly , and funny. I Love funny, scored points for being Brit and loving our Queen Mum too. My Grandma is British we are origionally Canadian .. you must keep him. He even entertained our friends by doing the voice for a commercial. Lol
Oh gosh.. so much fun.

“5 stars to our curbside server, Jimmy... friendly, funny and definitely put a smile on our face with a quick whit, much needed after unfortunately sitting next to the dumpsters waiting for food to come out. I would suggest moving curbside to the front of the building, smells pretty bad when the winds blowing.
Parking: Hassle to maneuver through, tight parking lot. Poorly lit at night.“
