“4Rivers catering is exceptional! We have used them several times, but most recently they catered a large, fancy birthday party for us. When they catered our wedding and rehearsal dinner I didn’t get to see their day of organization. But for our party I watched their implementation in action and it was flawless. They are a well-oiled, unified machine. Sarah was a delight to work with throughout the entire planning process. She repeatedly went above and beyond to help me with the details of our event. She was extremely organized and responsive. I trusted her completely. But the day of our party, she somehow transferred all of those little details into every member of her team. They each knew exactly what to do and understood my vision perfectly, while at the same time they were humble, attentive, and helpful. Any time I spoke to one of the crew members, the others would all lean in eagerly and listen cheerfully to any directions I had. They were quick to respond and very detail oriented. Any time they saw me looking for someone, within minutes a crew member was by my side asking how they could help. All of the food displays were elevated and elegant. It was leagues beyond typical BBQ. The food was delicious but also sophisticated, clever, and fun. The way they styled the layouts were beautiful and classy. Everything was perfect for our party. I could not have asked for anything better. Our guests repeatedly commented on the excellent food and service. The food was everything I hoped for, but the service of the crew exceeded anything I could have dreamed. They made sure I was enjoying the event too. After months of planning, they wanted all of my dreams to come true. They wanted the event to be a success as much as I did. They helped to shoulder my stress and ensure that every detail was perfect. I have never worked with a more wonderful and attentive crew. They made our event exceptional! I cannot recommend 4Rivers catering highly enough. The other vendors for our party were frustrating and disappointing, but 4Rivers went above and beyond to make up for their slack. Their excellence is why we use 4Rivers again and again. We are never disappointed.“

“This place is hidden inside a little gas station. The portions are generous! The ribs are fall off the bone with some of the best bbq sauce evah! Finger licking for sure! The brisket was moist and smoked perfectly! Now let’s talk sides....collard greens are smokey and delicious, Mac n cheese is on point! I can’t wait to get for sum chicken and key lime cake! 😋“

“Yum, Yum, Yum! I was invited to lunch at Papa Diesel's Restaurant on my visit to Apopka, FL. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the entire experience was a treat. A friendly family atmosphere greeted me at the door, with the added touch of care that was immaculately given to every detail. The aroma from the kitchen activated my taste buds, as I stared mesmerized by the extensive menu. Finally, I decided to go for the “Diesel Sampler”. The brisket was so succulent that it melted in my mouth. The ribs fell from the bone with such flavor that no sauce was necessary—the pulled pork I used to sample the homemade sauces. As I was told, the sauces will soon be available in the local supermarkets (as I can attest to becoming a family staple). Needless to say, the sausage, chicken, and sides all met with the same flavorful standards. Ending my meal with a dessert, I enjoyed the peach cobbler and shared a nibble of key lime cake with my date. It was an enjoyable afternoon, sharing special time with loved ones in a loving environment, dining on food prepared by Papa Diesel, who loves to cook for folks, and making them feel at home!“

“I am so happy that my favorite tofu stew place was open for lunch. Got to see Cherry and her sons who are the owners. Kevin, Jericho and Jerome are the three brothers that run this place. They are the nicest family run restaurant. I love how generous they are and how hard they work everyday. I’ve frequent here with my family for awhile. They have the best tofu soup. I always go with the assorted tofu soup and their popular stone bowled bibim bop. They also have really good galbi (marinated steak) and variety of side dishes. All their veggies are fresh and their dishes are authentic Korean. I love it so much! Thank you for making my day!“

“This Volcano Hot Pot and BBQ was the best our family has been too. The service today was impeccable. The food was fresh. The selection was large and they did not rush us or freeze us out. I had the Dolsot Bibimbab served in a steaming, sizzling hot pot—beef, mushrooms, sprouts, cucumbers and shredded g carrots and radish. It was delicious on its own but adding the table sauces made it sing. Along with entrees comes a variety of Korean sides as is typical for this cuisine. It included, fish cakes, potato salad, paper thin sliced pickled radish and three Kimchi preparations—classic cabbage, as well as cubes of cucumber and radish. If the food wasn’t enough, our server, Julianna, made our lunch all the more pleasurable with her sweet demeanor and friendly nature. And it wasn’t just us. We watched how she served other diners with the same affable, yet professional treatment. Remember when I said we don’t get there very often? Well, when we walked in, Julianna (without knowing us at all) greeted us like we were regulars coming in for the hundredth time.
