We had mostly appetizers, wild west shrimp, lobster and crab chowder, house salad, wings, and spinach dip always delicious.“

“If you are a real old school Floridian that grew up here, this place will take.you back! This was my first time visiting Keller's. I got the sliced beef dinner. I can tell you that was the exact plate of BBQ and sauce that I remember eating when I was young, before Sonnys changed and Fat Boys went under. Very nostalgic. “Yum, Yum, Yum! I was invited to lunch at Papa Diesel's Restaurant on my visit to Apopka, FL. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the entire experience was a treat. A friendly family atmosphere greeted me at the door, with the added touch of care that was immaculately given to every detail. The aroma from the kitchen activated my taste buds, as I stared mesmerized by the extensive menu. Finally, I decided to go for the “Diesel Sampler”. The brisket was so succulent that it melted in my mouth. The ribs fell from the bone with such flavor that no sauce was necessary—the pulled pork I used to sample the homemade sauces. As I was told, the sauces will soon be available in the local supermarkets (as I can attest to becoming a family staple). Needless to say, the sausage, chicken, and sides all met with the same flavorful standards. Ending my meal with a dessert, I enjoyed the peach cobbler and shared a nibble of key lime cake with my date. It was an enjoyable afternoon, sharing special time with loved ones in a loving environment, dining on food prepared by Papa Diesel, who loves to cook for folks, and making them feel at home!“

“I am so happy that my favorite tofu stew place was open for lunch. Got to see Cherry and her sons who are the owners. Kevin, Jericho and Jerome are the three brothers that run this place. They are the nicest family run restaurant. I love how generous they are and how hard they work everyday. I’ve frequent here with my family for awhile. They have the best tofu soup. I always go with the assorted tofu soup and their popular stone bowled bibim bop. They also have really good galbi (marinated steak) and variety of side dishes. All their veggies are fresh and their dishes are authentic Korean. I love it so much! Thank you for making my day!“

I had the Dolsot Bibimbab served in a steaming, sizzling hot pot—beef, mushrooms, sprouts, cucumbers and shredded g carrots and radish. It was delicious on its own but adding the table sauces made it sing. Along with entrees comes a variety of Korean sides as is typical for this cuisine. It included, fish cakes, potato salad, paper thin sliced pickled radish and three Kimchi preparations—classic cabbage, as well as cubes of cucumber and radish. If the food wasn’t enough, our server, Julianna, made our lunch all the more pleasurable with her sweet demeanor and friendly nature. And it wasn’t just us. We watched how she served other diners with the same affable, yet professional treatment. Remember when I said we don’t get there very often? Well, when we walked in, Julianna (without knowing us at all) greeted us like we were regulars coming in for the hundredth time. The portion sizes are huge, the meat is always so tasty and tender, and the service is always above any other Korean BBQ ive ever been with. Come hungry to get the most bang for the $50 per person. Our group tried a combination of meats and sushi. I gorged myself on tuna nigiri, which was very good. The meats were also excellent. I particularly liked the marinated sirloin. Salad bar and bread selections were good. Our waiter was attentive, which always makes a big difference.“
