“What a great new addition to the already crowded KBBQ scene in Central Florida. What sets this place apart is the food itself and the service. First, the food… extremely well marinated and everything was on point from the kimchi pancake to the side dishes and of course, the meats themselves. Second, the service stood out the most. Jason our server was extremely personable, helpful and just overall a good guy. He led us the entire meal providing recommendations and even made sure our meats were never overcooked. This is rare in other KBBQ places these days. The rest of the staff was also great, clearing off dishes immediately and filling our cups as soon as they see it getting low.I think I found my new go-to KBBQ in Orlando! Highly recommend the experience and worth every penny.“
“Decided to drive here after visiting Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive this past Saturday. We were in the mood for locally owned bbq. Found this place in Monteverde, and I'm glad we drove 30 minutes to eat lunch here. The owner and his family are very nice and the bbq is good. We did the family meal for 4 and ordered another large side to go with it. The order was for pulled pork sandwiches, mac and cheese, baked beans, and coleslaw. My wife and I are picky about coleslaw; even more so the kids. It was sweet and was slightly different from what I would describe as a typical coleslaw. But whatever it is that sets it apart from other ones, it works because it was really good. The kids really liked it. We did try some of their ribs as well. Our 8 year old daughter was impressed and wanted to let them know how good the ribs were. If you get a chance, stop by there for lunch and see why they have such good reviews.“
“Love bulgogi house! I have gone on several occasions and it has always been a pleasure. It’s a really fun spot for groups of friends but it makes a good date night if you enjoy the culture. Bulgogi beef is the best to stuff your face with, don’t forget to try the red pepper sauce and salt! I want to mention that it’s a little run down inside, definitely “hole in the wall” vibes but, food and superb service makes it a 5 star in my opinion.“
“I stopped at the gas station to get some gas & all I smelled was that good smelling food coming from that grill. OMG I got the half of BBQ chicken with Mac & cheese & greens. It was so delicious & the chicken was so tender. Black gave us a sample of the rib & damn it the meat was so tender & falling off the bone. The sweet potato casserole was also delicious. My daughter & nice shared the baked Mac & cheese & didn’t even use to taste any. We went back about an hour later & got a slab of ribs & Lord have mercy it was so delicious. I promise when I come back to visit we will definitely be back. This is a must try, the food is Amazing & Black is friendly & the pineapple lemonade is a must have & it goes good with any alcohol beverage you drink. ??????“

“The sandwich was good but they could not seem to figure out how to put the onion rings that come on it on the side instead. My husband also got some pork (I forgot exactly what it was called) that had quite a bit of fat in it. I'm sure I will be back when I'm in the area but I don't see it as a must do place.“

“First off, I’m a fool for not giving this place a shot sooner. I just finished the ribs, chicken, Mac, and corn I took to go. The meats were perfectly smoky, tender, full of flavor from the seasons/rub, and juicy. The sauce was fantastic, however the meats were so flavorful I didn’t even use that much of it. “We were driving by and the smell of smoked perfection made us stop in our tracks. Without exaggeration, Basil’s barbecue ribs are the best ribs I’ve ever eaten in my life. They came with sauce and bread, but I didn’t need either one. I don’t even think they were dry-rub. I think they just smoke the ribs so well, using the best cuts of non-fatty pork, that any extras are just unnecessary. I’m mad we only got one slab! ??✊?“

“I had the pleasure of having Fat Bones BBQ’s smoked chicken for an event and I must say I got my money’s worth plus some. I was thoroughly surprised at the amount of chicken as well as the variety of pieces. Fat Bones BBQ provided wings as well as chopped up leg quarters…..some with sauce and some without to provide options for the guest. The meat was mouthwatering and had people talking about it days later.Did I mention the food was delivered…..saving me time in an already hectic day. I will definitely be a returning customer for future events or if I’m just craving amazing food.“
