“We reached out to Hodge’s Ice Cream 1087 and asked for them to come to my son’s party at Gilbert Park. Scheduling was so easy - I reached out on Instagram and got a quick response. On the day of our party, they showed up on time and had a great system in place for differentiating our party members from the other kids at the park. Service was excellent and all of the kids loved their ice cream. I would highly recommend them for your next event!“
“Nice little coffee shop in downtown Mt. Dora. I had a gingerbread latte and my wife had a snickerdoodle latte. Both were tasty. Not so good that I had to rave about them but they were good enough to enjoy while we walked around and took in all the Christmas lights around town. The store itself is a bit cramped so eating in would be a little uncomfortable but it’s really not that type of place anyhow. They serve sandwiches for lunch and they have a decent ice cream assortment. They even have a few gelato flavors for those with a more refined taste. Overall, I appreciate small businesses like this one. We will be back certainly.“
“First visit to the new location. Staff was very friendly and professional. They appear to have worked out the kinks of opening a new establishment. Food was what I called upscale takeout. You order at the counter and then take a number to your seat.Food came quickly and fresh and hot. The custard expresso toffee was delicious.I would definitely recommend this location to all.“
“We were served quickly even though the shop started to crowd up. So the employees are great and well trained, especially for under pressure circumstances. The ice cream, a bit pricey, was creamy and left me wanting more. I believe it is Hershey's. We also ordered a mini canoli pastry and it looks yummy, we took out and yet to try it. I will visit here again on my next trip to Mt. Dora.“
“The location is clean. Our items were made to order and done correctly. Very tasty Italian ice inter mixed with soft serve ice cream called gelati. Or you can do all Italian ice or all soft serve. There are also toppings and add-ins or you can do one of their pre-made themed treats. Bathrooms are roomie and clean. There is some outdoor patio seating out front by the parking lot. For those of you who don't like indoor spaces that are chilly, bring us sweater. Also, join the rewards program via the app.Parking: Lots of parking for this strip mall around the corner from Publix.Kid-friendliness: This place is geared towards kids families couples and singles.
