“I eat here religiously. 2-3 times a week. Food is always fresh, and my personal experience extremely fast to come out of the kitchen. This is somewhere I’d recommend driving to if you’re wanting authenticity. 5 stars does not do this place justice. I give it 10 stars across the board.“

“This place is lovely, I made a reservation for 15 ppl but in reality they arrived 18 ppl we had the waitress Ashley she is very attentive, pretty and friendly. “I was a regular patron of this restaurant under the previous ownership. It was my favorite place for Mexican cuisine in Lake Co. So when I discovered it was under new management I was thoroughly disappointed. That all changed this evening when I actually took my family in for an early dinner. It was around 5 p.m. and we had the entire place to ourselves. My wife and I had the three-enchilada dinner with beans and rice, and a side of guacamole. I tried one of each enchilada offered: chicken, beef, and cheese. They were all delicious! The guacamole, while not quite the same as the previous owner's, was also very good. Salsa and chips: delicious. My son had the quesadilla and was also unexpectedly impressed (at first he said nothing on the menu looked exciting enough for him. After eating he quickly changed his mind). In short, this will be my new go-to Mexican place in this area. Better Mexican food than anything else around here. Highly recommended!!!“

“This place has the best authentic Mexican food . We had the enchiladas with the rice and beans. Also had the tongue tacos and the Cabeza tacos. So good. The food was amazing. Definitely a taste of Mexico. It's a small place. Only 6 tables but also doubles as a meat market. The staff was super friendly. Did not have a long wait for our food. Maybe twelve minutes or so, considering all the people that were coming in for take out. This will be my go to place for Mexican food. Definitely a hidden gem.“

I went today for the second time. The first time I had enchiladas and they were terrific. Went back today with a couple friends. Again, the service was terrific, and the food was as well. I had the Fish Soup, my friends had beef & chicken fajitas and a smothered chicken chimichanga. All the dishes were huge portions and really delicious. I gave a slightly lower ranking for atmosphere because they had the music blaring so loud, we couldn't hear each other at all.“

“If you come to Renningers and want great food, come here! I've came here quite a few times, as a matter of fact, I usually come to Renningers specifically to order from Tacos Dos Potrillos. They're the best! The flavor of everything is absolutely amazing, and I'm so glad I found this food truck. I've had the tacos, burritos, nachos, tostadas, etc and everything was scrumptious. The eating area is kept clean, the owners are incredibly sweet and friendly, and the prices are cheap. I definitely recommend coming here if you want authentic Mexican cuisine. Only downside is Tacos Dos Potrillos is open Saturday and Sunday. Otherwise I'd eat here more often! 10/10.“

I left a review on Google 2 months ago with pictures of how poorly our burritos were assembled. once again, we find ourselves in the same position. I don't recommend drive through, go inside and make sure they do it properly. I've even been inside placing and order and watched them tear another person's burrito apart - which happened to be an online order. they didn't even bother to try to grab a different wrap. horrible service.
