“I have been ordering from NYPB since their opening. I still find it the best pizzaria in Apopka that is open. I always order the 24" Big Baby. The only thing that hurts them is consistency. Some times you receive a perfect pie with the right thickness and amount of toppings, cooked to the correct level of crispness on the bottom and crust. But other times I have received a super thin, undercooked crust which the sauce and oils have soaked through to the point that the slice must be eaten with a fork and knife, as opposed to folding in half and eating by hand. Or the mushrooms I order for a topping are VERY scarce.“

“My husband and I were starving after picking up some items from usps. This is not our normal everyday area so we were googling resturaunts for a bit until I thought of Italian. We had our 2 year old with us and we felt as though we would be under dressed for how nice this place was on the inside so we sat outside. I have to say, they made us feel so welcomed. “We had dinner at Turci Pasta on a whim and got SO lucky to walk in and be seated. In the future, we will definitely be making sure to grab a reservation online as the couple behind us were not able to be seated due to the amount of reservations that were made! We truly hit the jackpot!Arthur was our server and he was PHENOMENAL. He offered us their prix fixe menu which was FOUR courses all made from scratch (2 appetizers, an entree, and dessert) for $59/person with the option to add two glasses of wine at $15/person. Arthur was so accommodating and helpful with the menu, was professional and friendly and went the extra mile to make our experience wonderful! We even asked to change our dessert at the last minute and he gladly did so!The food is incredible here. “My sister and I had our first visit to Cariera's in Winter Garden, FL, a family owned restaurant, for lunch about a week ago. I first heard about it a few years ago on the NextDoor App for the Dr. Phillips neighborhood in Orlando, which I believe was their original location. We grabbed the menus, sat at a booth, made our selections and then went up to very friendly Cashier/Waitress Valerie to prepay our meals and tips. I had the Fried Calamari, Shrimp & Crab Ravioli ala Vodka, fruit infused red sangria and for dessert, Limoncello cake. Sis had the Lasagna. Everything was delicious (see pics)! The calamari was seasoned crispy on the outside but light and tender on the inside. The ravioli didn't have as much crab as I would have liked but plenty of shrimp. The vodka sauce was creamy and cheesy. Even the garlic roll was fresh and warm. Everything was perfect and there was plenty leftovers to feed us a couple more days. The owner and Valerie and other servers checked on us periodically throughout our meal. The food, welcoming atmosphere and excellent customer service provided our first-time visit with a very happy, delightful experience! There are plenty of veggie and vegetarian options and a $10 'Little Bambinos' menu. Cariera's is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking except handicapped spaces are limited. We plan to return to try different things on the menu and would highly recommend for indoor and/or carry out meals with family, friends and visitors.“

It cost $6.00 for what I am guessing was an eight ounce package. It was worth every penny. The pasta was sturdy and yet still tender. The flavor was bold but smooth...It was not pungent. I thought that the pasta was so delicious that I skipped the sauce and fresh grated parmesan....instead I tossed it in the tiniest bit of butter. It was a star all on its own.“
