“4 of us decided to stop in to try their latest chicken sandwich. We ordered the chicken sandwich with the Mayo sauce and the one with the spicy Cajun sauce. Good portion of chicken that was tender and juicy. Sorry Chick-fil-a the decision was unanimous Popeyes sandwich wins hands down. I ordered 2 more sandwiches to go. The Mac and cheese was a winner and I enjoyed the spicy fries.Staff was friendly and service was quick. The young fellow that took our order brought the extra order to our table and then opened the door for us as we left. Our new place for a chicken sandwich. Great experience”
“I've dined in 3 times since January, and I've received the same consistent friendly and accurate service each time. They are super friendly, ask how you're doing and they hustle. My orders have been hot fresh and fast.I'm super impressed.Only thing I would change is the seating. The chairs are uncomfortable. Only cushioned seating are stools that aren't very comfortable either.”
“This place is phenomenal. It’s been phenomenal since it opened. It’s pricey but worth it. It’s always busy here so make sure you get reservations. My favorite order is their nigiri.”
“Everyone just stands around the bar to eat. Had high hopes, but won't be going back. Not a wide variety, but for the price, it's alright for a quick bite. Got the basic 8-piece set, covers most nigiri options. My friend went for the fancier version, felt like a deluxe upgrade with lots of toppings. Sweet shrimp and scallop were tasty and fresh. Some nigiri could use more seasoning to balance the fish flavor. Maybe trying the torched nigiri with mayo would be better. Hand roll was just okay in terms of texture.”
“I'm sure it's a great place to eat it look like it had a great environment but apparently so popular they had no seats for at least a half a day so if you're going to go get ""reservations""”
“Papa Llama, 2840 Curry Ford Road, Orlando- 4-Stars Michelin Recommended- Bib Gourmand! Peruvian immigrants, Kevin and Maria Ruiz, say they founded Papa Llama in 2016 as an experimental pop up and opened the doors of this location in August 2020. In 2022, they earned the Michelin Guide's coveted "Bib Gourmand" award for establishments that serve good food at reasonable prices so naturally, I got excited. Paulina, my server, was well prepared and knowledgeable, making for an auspicious beginning in a gorgeous environment featuring good prices for dishes that could be made to satisfy both carnivores and herbivores alike. I ordered the entire family style menu which was, according to Papa Llama, "designed to be tasted together, shared, and fought over." So much food for just over a hundred dollars. The prices may have been cheap but the taste and quality of (most) victuals valieron un Perú! A hearty Big Boy Thank You (Sulpayki!) to Kevin and Maria and the culinary dactylograms of their ancestors, on this amazing cuisine (Somaq Mihuna!). The first item on the menu was Olives--whole green Castelvetrano olives marinated in house with aji panca--which were so delectable I could eat them all day. Next, the Red + Gold Beets, a minty beet salad with honey ají amarillo vinaigrette, queso fresco, and candied pistachio, which started out smooth and creamy and ended with a pleasantly piquant bite. Papas a la Huancaína followed, a fingerling potato dish with spicy aji amarillo cream, wakatay (black mint) salsa verde, and beef chicharron, topped with a fried egg. The potatoes themselves were not the star, but the combination of flavors in the sauce were amazing, unctuous but smooth. Papa Llama carries a long list of natural wines, more wines than food items, actually. That evening, I chose the Yuzu Sake, and may I say, "Holy smokes!" How refreshing after consuming so many peppers. The rest of the dishes I would give 4.5 to 5-Stars, EXCEPT for the side of frozen Sysco French fries which almost ruined an otherwise stellar meal. There are over 300 kinds of potatoes in Peru. Over 300! Perhaps in the United States we don't have the same abundance as found in El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley) but, por favor, do not stoop to this! The Big Boy says, "Eat here. All the authentic Peruvian flavors at Papa Llama are 5-Star, but skip the fries, which are a corporate conglomerate frozen food disappointment."”
“It was our first time at Reyes Mezcaleria and it won't be our last. The food was delicious and the decor was beautiful. Chris P., was the best waiter that we've ever had. We highly recommend Reyes Me”
“Hawkers is one of my favorite restaurants to dine in. The atmosphere and the food is incredible. Mikey was our server tonight and they were very attentive and kind! 10/10 reccommend.”
“Cannot praise this place enough.Literally every single thing we ordered was outrageously good.Wish I remembered our server’s name as she was awesome. Very kind, helpful, full of recommendations.100% will come back again and again.”
“Excellent food—creative menu. Outstanding wait staff. Fun to watch the team in the kitchen from our bar perch. No question we’d return next trip to Orlando. If you live here you are lucky! Support your local gourmet!”
“This is my first time visiting Otto's high dive, and it was for a work meeting. We came into the place and were immediately greeted by the owner, who went over the menu, how everything works, and explained that it was more of a shared plates type of place. There was about 12 of us in our group, so we liked the idea of that! We were quickly seated (even without the full party, which was a plus), and my boss & I had a conversation while we waited for the rest of our party. Prior to my parties arrival, they set up the table with several glasses of water several bottles to pour from silverware and topic size place we thought it was really cool that they provided all the stuff prior to the party getting here so we didn't kinda have to just sit there and wait. Once everyone in the party arrive, we took a minute to look over the menu and decided to try one of their very famous meal options, the Abundancia. Which had a fitting name! This featured several carafes of daiquiris, a four tiered seafood tower, pastelitos, ropa vieja, rice and beans, cuban bread, and flan and tres leches for dessert. There was SO MUCH FOOD! And we had a great time enjoying it. The restaurant was busy, and a little crowded, but that only added to the experience. I'll be back soon!”
“The Food: The dinner at Kaya was one of our favorite dining experiences in a long, long time. Wave after wave of meticulously assembled dishes that would rival any 5-star, white tablecloth, squads of chefs with tweezers restaurant arrive at table with the homey casualness of “Hey, look what we made for you.” The flavor profiles are perfect and sublime, and the quality of the unusual, diverse ingredients are amazing and fresh. There was not one missed note in the whole parade of dishes. The Place: The warmth and care of the staff at Kaya is extraordinary. When we opened the door, the hostess smiled the smile of someone happy to see an old friend. Our server was familiar and charming. She explained the complex dishes concisely and with an eagerness that signaled “you are gonna love this!” The whole place is a masterclass in hospitality. The set menu is the way to go. Also, upgrade to the king crab rice.”
“We came to Agave Azul for dinner on Saturday night as a party of four. Although, we only waited for about 10 minutes to be seated, it only got busier after that. We ordered a round of appetizers, mains and several drinks. Overall, the food was very tasty and filling but, the highlight of the meal was the Carnitas. The cocktails were also pretty good. The staff were very friendly and diligent.”
“Modern omakase? Not purely Japanese, more like a chef's tasting menu. Bit rushed, there's a timer on the wall. Not many courses, incorporating some local ingredients. Two seatings: 5:30 and 8:30, seems like there are plenty of spots for the later one.”
“Grandson joined me today after talking about it for 3 weeks. One closer on Curry Ford. No the original Gma. We were not disappointed. I had brisket taco. Chips and guacamole. Grandson had carne asada, black beans, tinga.”
“Friendly staff super welcoming as you walk in.Awesome food selections. Went with the chicken and waffles. Chicken had a small bit of Buffalo and the waffle was sugar coated. Insanely good. Sampled my fiancees biscuits and gravy, just wow. Staff cleaned up for us and of course thanked us on the way out! Highly recommend ?”
“Thank you Nina O. For your amazing service. She walked us through the whole menu and gave wonderful suggestions. The food was incredible. Definitely one of my new spots in orlando.”
“First visit and i have to say: amaaaazing! Waited less than expected for a table, food was amazing and Emily, our server were super patient and explain everything we needed in details, even in a busy time. Everything was so good, but the tiramisu was outstanding! Again, thank you Emily for your service. Coming back asap!”
“The space is romantic, seating is important to me and it was so cozy chic. Service was incredible. Kat was our server and she was so passionate about the food and gave descriptions of the food beyond the menu. By the end she felt like a friend. The server who brought me beans and bread told me to combine the two… amazing combo. The flan is a must have. If you want to have flavor combination and food pairing you have never experienced… this place is a must.Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to nuts and mango and they were very accommodating.”
“What can I say that hasn’t already been said? Miss Nikki makes wonderful, tasty treats! We tried the key lime cake and the cheesecake and bought both! The cheesecake was creamy, tasty and not overly sweet. The key lime cake was moist, also tasty, and also not overly sweet. I mention this as a lot of home made cakes and treats you find at these tent type places are chock full of sugar - it’s pretty much the first thing you taste. Not here. Miss Nikki and her family are also nice folks. It sounds like they may soon have their own store. I’m hoping it won’t be too far from my house! ?”
“Let's just say it's a Japanese restaurant with a Filipino dessert twist. Seems like they offer dessert tasting/bento that's worth trying. Didn't realize this place was already a hidden gem in Orlando.”
“The food was amazing. After I ordered the food came within around 6 - 7 minutes. I was amazed by the wait time for food and service. The place was amazingly decorated. 10/10 would ”
“it's casual cafe but love their foods... Starting with papaya salad and Tom Kha, a coconut milk soup that you can add any protein. I like it as it's full flavor but not heavy... Their seasoned fried fish is my favorite too along with fried rice. Grilled squid, sometimes a bit over cooked, so make it chewy...dessert, if you like sticky rice and durian, they have a good one”
“I’m in love. This is already on my list of go-to places in Central Florida. There is so much to love about Haan Coffee: from the ultra-trendy setup, to the Uber-friendly staff (I’ve met Albert, Coby, Gabriella, Hong, Josh, Kenny, Semie, and Victoria and they are all so helpful and kind), to the bright lighting, to the hip decor, to the sweet swag, this place oozes cool vibes. Of course, the food and drinks are what keep me coming back. I’ve tried several of their drinks and my favorites (five-way tie for first place) are the cold crew crème top, SJ latte, Seoul iced Coffee, strawberry milk, and the iced yuja. There’s one made with tonic that I thought was very interesting that my friends said was their fave. Food-wise, I loved the sweet and salty garlic butter bread and the croiffles. So good. I get happy thoughts thinking about them. If I didn’t live 30 minutes away, I’d be there every day. I’m so glad for the addition of Haan to the amazing coffeehouses in the City Beautiful!”
“My family and I had a great time here. I love that they serve you the meats, seafood, and ramen to your table. We also enjoyed that there were many options, including rice and chicken wings, at the self serve area buffet style. Lily, our server, was the cherry on top with excellent service and a friendly attitude. We enjoyed our meal.”
“I'm happy to say this place didn't disappoint! We went on a Thursday night to celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival, they welcomed you at the door and walked you to your seats; everyone was friendly and inviting. The place is gorgeous, spotless, and modern, with a big counter table where we all sat. It was only eight people, which made the experience very intimate. We had the Early Spring menu, and the food was delightful, with an exciting approach to Vietnamese traditional dishes! We don't eat beef, and they were very accommodating! My favorite dishes were the black chicken and Spanish Sole, rich in flavor and with incredible presentation. The menu is well thought out, but on a personal note, I felt it was missing an extra course. In these restaurants, you never expect to leave stuffed, but I also don't wish to go a little hungry, especially when you have an elevated price tag. There is one dish where the chef offers a white truffle “enhancement.” the price isn't disclosed until the end, which is a weird concept. You can always say no, but then you feel missing out on something the chef recommends. I wonder if there is a better approach, like disclosing it when making your reservation or something like that. The wine pairing is top-notch, and I highly recommend it! The music was a little loud, and the playlist was somewhat out of place. There were a few viral songs from TikTok that I didn't expect to hear at a high-end restaurant.I am so excited about this addition to the neighborhood; while there is some room for improvement, this restaurant is good and on the right path to the Michelin star.”
“Zuli was AMAZING! She completely changed my opinion about this place. I'd had a bad experience getting sick because the last bartender didn't care about my food sensitivities. This time, my food was prepared clean and delicious thanks to Zuli talking to kitchen and making sure everything was done right. I got the vegetarian fajitas and had them turned vegan and gluten-free. So happy!”
“JD our bartender and DANIEL R our server were AMAZING!!! He kept the drinks flowing and provided quick and efficient service on prob one of the busiest nights ive ever seen!! LOVE VIDA<3 cant wait to come ”
“I'm super boujee with my ice cream and this place is on point!Really delicious ice cream with a depth of flavor and a variety on top of that. I had the guava cheesecake in a waffle cone and it was to die for! Totally worth the calories. Creamy and tasty!”
“Best little secret around for some excellent pizza. I have been going here for years. This place is family owned and operated. I love their pizza and lunch specials. I have not had a bad meal here yet. Give them a shot I promise you won't regret it.Parking: Connected to the gas station just go around to the side and park there.”
