Sad to say that this establishment discriminates against blind and low vision patrons!
I am a legally blind, service connected veteran that was refused service for having a certified guide dog. Upon educating the owner, she became rude, dismissive, and aggressive as she and her cohorts escorted me out of the establishment. She then proceeded to tell me that her daughter was an attorney, that she was former law enforcement and had the right to refuse service or force me to sit outside in the heat for being blind. I informed them that I was contacting the ADA, and she blatantly said you can call who ever you want to call, but you’re not eating in here.

I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone that values or advocates for equality or disabled rights!

I had 4 people tell me to not try the establishment and one who did. So I genuinely gave it a chance. There was only one server at the time so it was hard to manage because a big party was leaving. With that being said, I waited at least 10 minutes after sitting down for my order to be taken. When I ordered I got smothered chicken wings with rice, Mac and Cheese, Collard Greens, and cornbread. The chicken was a bit on the salty side while fresh and well cooked. The Mac and cheese was tasteless. I was told the Greens were made with Turkey, however there was none in the greens so I can neither confirm nor deny that. The greens had a bit of a sugary taste to them that I did not find satisfying. The cornbread was dry and not sweet. Upon finishing my meal there was a mishap with how I intended to pay so I sat for at least another 10 minutes. The waitress did apologize for the mishap and the staff were welcoming which is why I am still willing to give this establishment a shot in the future.

The whole experience was delightful. It was my first authentic American soul food as I'm traveling here, and I'd recommend this place to anyone dropping by the area. The peach cobbler was great, too.
I'll make sure to drop by again and try other menu as well.

100% NASTY !! Did not taste any soul in this food wouldnt recommend this restaurant if you’re seeking flavor definitely disappointing spent $48 for a very small portion We’ll be sticking to the Caribbean restaurants from now on i wouldnt have gave this place ANY stars should have known by how many people was not in there

The customer service is excellent. The food is not worth the price. I also ordered a BBQ sandwich and received two small bones on bread for $7.

It’s a sit down eatery with a bar. I thought the people were friendly, the service was very fast, my drink was stiff. Thank you bartender. The food was good but nothing that made me crave a return visit. Not that I will not go back but mild seasonings did disappoint me some.
They are getting a commercial deep fryer to do larger pieces of chix but for now, they only have 3 full wings either the 3 piece dinner.

10/10 I DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My family and I came 1hr & 22mins away and we were not disappointed. It was our first time and will be back. The food was so good (my oxtails were down to the bone) 🤦🏾‍♀️and the customer service was amazing. Atmosphere and music was nice.

The staff were so friendly! I ended up staying longer than I had planned and enjoyed the live show of poetry, saxophone playing and singing! They even gifted me with a Mother’s Day goodie bag.
The food was delicious with that home cooked flavor “Just Like Momma” made. I will definitely revisit and bring some family and friends along next time!

I was told to check this place out by my friend, the owner's was really nice , i love how this place look inside Nice Vibe, i went on Sunday after church, the menu was well put together, but when i got there saying its Sunday limted entrée, i order wings dinner , but they were wingetts, mac chesse, collard greens needed little more season, chicken was good, i thought it was regular wings, i was eggroll but they dmsaid dont sell on Sunday, but i try something diffrent next time.

First time at the restaurant and what a big disappointment. I ordered the chitterlings and hog maws dinner also a kids meal chicken wing with greens. The dinner I received was all hog maws no chitterlings at all, greens were extremely salty, the rice was undercooked but the mac and cheese was good. The kids meal fried chicken wing was in the same container as the greens with alot of juice in it so when I picked up the wing the wet crust was falling off of it, next time please drain juice or put wing in separate box. Money wasted

Listen , I don’t even know where to start with Just Like Momma’s. First of all when you call, the customer service is impeccable. I talked to a lady named Cynthia. She was just such a joy to talk to, you could tell that she likes what she does, and likes where she works. I am here actually taking care of my nephew ,while my sister is in the hospital. All I can tell you is, I have been to three different places that are black owned, and I am black and I will never be back to those places again.. I’ve already put them on yelp so it’s no need for me to mention them (Hicks Seafood) well, that one in particular I really did have to mention that one. Although the waitress I dealt with was very nice the manager needs to grab the stick from out of his butt, and that’s putting it mildly. Especially since it was me and only two other people in there. Anyway, back to this phenomenal restaurant. I had fried chicken wings, rice, and gravy, yams, and macaroni and cheese. Although I didn’t go pick it up ,I sure ate that food up and I’m gonna eat some tomorrow and every day that I’m here, and they are open. I will be there eating something new off their menu. I like to support black businesses, that particular place even though I live way in Deltona, and they will definitely see a lot of me. I don’t have a problem traveling for good food. There was a lady named Miss Penny. I take my hat off to her if she was one of the cooks, but I heard her in the background. I can only imagine, how crowded that place will be tomorrow when I get there. Just to let you know, If you haven’t been there, please take the time out of one of your days to go there. Trust me once you go, you’ll be back no matter where you live. Totally amazing , mind blowing to me at least , and it only really matters to me because I’m the one that ate it. The rest of you will have to find out on your own. BIG UPS TO , JUST LIKE MOMMA’S, they definitely have flavor, good customer service, and are willing to listen to your questions about the food that you’re wanting, and can tell you everything to make you want it even more. I can go on and on about this place, but I’m not go find out for yourself. You’ll see that everything I said was true. My Easter is going to be happy, right along with my belly because I’ll be at Just Like Momma’s 🙌🏽🙌🏽✌🏽One time for APK🔥🔥

This was first time dining in at this restaurant and I was greeted with GREAT customer service. Every person working there asked me about my food experience. I ordered the fried chicken plate. It was good!!!!! I will be returning to try some of their other soul food options!

On my way Saturday Big Back quest I ran into a spot. Live music and I almost fell asleep after I ate my food. Live music, good food and a full BAR!!! And I could not eat it all

This was my first time eating here. Just found this hidden gem out here in apopka. We moved out here from Chicago a little while ago. Ain’t no city got nothing on our food which I miss the most but when I tell you this food is bussin smackin all the above reminded me of home. You gotta show up a let these folks bless them bellies. I ordered the oxtail one of my favs an they did not disappoint me at all. Y’all just made me an my wife satisfied an loyal customers. She said dem smothered pork chops was on point as well.
