I went to Mecatos Bakery and found it to be a very pleasant and enjoyable place. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, the staff is friendly, and the selection of products is good, offering a variety of sweet and savory options. Overall, it’s a simple but satisfying spot to relax, enjoy a dessert, or grab a quick snack, making it a place worth visiting again.
Very cute location with music playing and lots of great light. A large selection of delicious looking treats which I unfortunately skipped. Instead I opted for a breakfast sandwich on an arepa. I was disappointed in the taste and texture. There was absolutely no seasoning and the arepa was very dry.
When it comes to quick-serve Colombian 🇨🇴 food, I have zero restauants to refer to. But I can definitely say that THIS quick serve Colombian food was great!! I ordered an Arepa Mecatos and a Quesito.
The Arepa is: Beef, chicken, ham, lettuce, tomato, cheese, fried egg, pink sauce. The food was very fresh and really tasty. The cafe was clean and well attended to as well.
