Great family owned restaurant where you're greeted and treated like family. Jasmine the owner comes around to the tables to greet and check on everyone. Chris is the best waitress but is in demand so be patient lol.

I can not stress enough how kind, sweet and just absolutely friendly the staff is. The food is absolutely phenomenal. I Highly recommend the Biscuits and gravy! Bacon is incredible as well. The atmosphere is very old and school relaxed.

My mom and I have passed by many times on our trips to Renninger’s in Mt. Dora, but, never had time to stop by. We finally did Saturday and it was amazing! The biscuits & gravy were delicious! The biscuits were just how I like them: a little crispy around the edges. The gravy was thick and not too overpowered with seasonings.
My mom got eggs with diced ham and hash browns and she enjoyed her meal, too!
Next time we’re out that way, we’ll definitely stop in!

Delicious (if not underpriced) cheeseburger. Local place with tasty food with no frills.
ETA: After seeing the response from the owner, it appears I may have phrased my review poorly. To clarify, I felt the food was underpriced and gave more value for the dollar. To that end, I over-tipped the wait staff as I felt the experience was worth more than I was charged. I hope my travels take me back to Apopka around lunch time so I can return!

This was my first time here and I was excited based on how good their reviews were. The food was definitely amazing both my daughter and I enjoyed it. As far as the service I genuinely expected more. The server seemed more interested in helping the two other tables she was attending even in the middle of us ordering are drinks she told us she’ll be back she’s going to go take the other tables order. After we received our food I tried to call for his twice not too loud as to not to be rude I even put my hand up she looked at me and one of the other tables she was attending and ignored me completely to attend to the other table I at least hoped that she would return my way once she was done but nope completely walked away. Will give this restaurant one more try as I stated the food was delicious but I am really big on customer service and no table should get special treatment over others.
