Truly has improved. The staff is incredibly efficient, kind, and over all better experience compared to just a year ago. Whatever changed, worked. Favorite lunch spot again.
I ordered a few burgers, including the $4 meal that comes with fries. When I picked up my order, I noticed the fries were missing. When I mentioned it to the cashier, he told me it didn’t come with fries because I had supposedly selected “no sides.” He insisted that since it wasn’t listed on the receipt, I must have made a mistake and there was nothing he could do.
I didn’t argue, even though I knew that wasn’t true. That meal always comes with fries—you can upgrade or swap them for something else, but they should be included by default. On top of that, the Frisco sauce I ordered was also missing.
To test it, I ordered the same meal again. This time, a different employee handed me the order—with fries included. The receipt was exactly the same as before.
I know this isn’t a huge deal, but the service was so bad that I’d rather not come back. The only good part of the experience was the milkshake. But after two burgers, missing fries, and terrible service, I don’t think it’s worth giving them another chance.

Second time I have come here, the management is always pleasant and the employees are friendly. Had an issue with the kiosk and not able to add lettuce to my burger, management told back of house to add it and took a look at the kiosk to get it fixed.
Its great to see that kind of interaction these days between the customer and the managers, especially when the manager is also the owner. This is my preferred Steak n Shake when I am able to afford it just from the two overwhelmingly positive experiences I've had coming here now.
The only thing I dislike is the limited soda machine but the reason why they installed it makes sense from a businesses perspective and isn't really that big of a deal.

We ordered the garlic burger and fries x2 with extra fries, and a nutella shake! Everything came out fast and hot! The staff were friendly and the tables were clean.
I will be recommending friends and family to this location, as this is the most clean and friendly location I have been to. Thank you Steak n Shake for your exceptional service and hospitality!

Ordered two double cheeseburger meals with medium fries, no drink, no special requests. Got all the way home to realize the ENTIRE order was wrong! Such an inconvenience to drive all the way back to have the order corrected, but we did. No apology, no suggestion for a complimentary ANYTHING for the inconvenience. Customer service these days is less than satisfactory and so are the people put in these positions. DO BETTER. 👎

Did an online order and they said they didn’t have an order for me so they wouldn’t give me my food and my bank statement literally shows they took money from me and the manager said she can’t do anything about it. Bad customer service and terrible management.
