If you live in central Florida and are a Mexican food fanatic, you need to know about the offerings in Apopka. As a major aficionado of Mexican food since my teens (I'm 60 now), I can tell you that Apopka is an absolute hotbed of some of the best I've ever had in my life, and that's no exaggeration. I've already had awesome offerings from the likes of El Potro, Taco Fiesta, and Taco Loco, and just today I added a new instant favorite to my list: Taco Don Pepe's. BEST burrito I've had in AGES! Honestly, I'm astounded at how great the Mexican food is EVERYWHERE you go in Apopka, and this place easily holds its own against any of the aforementioned. Add to that fast service and the usual cute waitresses (lol) and I will be back for more for sure.
