The food's flavors were excellent, but portion sizes left me wanting more (too pricy for small portions). The sopes, in particular, seemed skimpy on the masa. The horchata could also benefit from a touch more sweetness and a bolder taste profile. Finally, ditching the plastic utensils would be beneficial.
Once you stop by, it may become your go-to for Mexican street-style tacos as well. And if you've ever been to Mexico, this place will almost instantly transport you back to that experience. Humble, authentic, consistent. In the last decade, I've never had a single bad bite at this family-run operation. One of these times, I'm actually going to think to take a picture of the food instead of diving in like I've never been fed before.
This taqueria "Taco Riendo" is spectacular, the food has very good flavor and comes in large quantities.The truth is that it is a small space, however my group of 7 people had enough.If you want authentic Mexican food, with the richest and most delicious flavors, come and order some tacos at "Taquería Taco Riendo"
