The restaurant was packed but the service was prompt and attentive. The food was terrific!
We ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and the Australian Lamb and both were cooked to perfection. The sides of broccoli and asparagus were also perfectly cooed and not soggy. The sautéed mushrooms had great flavor and were really button sized mushrooms. I couldn't think of any way to improve in this meal! It was so worth the price. Thank you!!!
A treat to get to this restaurant! It is always delicious and great service! Janay was our server, on point and engaging. Asian pork belly for appetizer. New York strip and short rib egg rolls, salads Cannot wait to go back again soon. Highly recommend! Thank you Ed.

The service was top notch along with the food. Was a bit loud, but we were able to talk. The food is excellent always and our server was fantastic. Explained menu items and gave us recommendations.
My family and I go to the Backroom every few months, and we absolutely love it. The staff is always great, and the steaks are amazing. On our most recent visit, I decided to change it up and ordered the lamb chops. Unfortunately, I was disappointed—they were gamey and lacked flavor. I was expecting more of a glaze, but they were served more like they were in a gravy. On a positive note, my daughter's steak was delicious as always. We will definitely continue to dine here; I just wouldn't recommend the lamb chops.
Amazing steaks. Seriously. The kitchen did its job flawlessly. Too bad our waitress (african american girl) treated serving us like a personal insult. She disappeared for 30 minutes, appearing only to take the order and later collect the money—efficient at the wrong parts of the job. The icing on the cake was her pathetic excuses for being called out for not doing her job. No excuses when your working and serving customers at a high end steak house!!!
For a $100+ per person steakhouse, this level of effort is impressive in the same way watching paint dry is impressive. I’ve been coming here for years and know this isn’t the standard, which makes it even worse. One lazy server managed to undo everything the chef got right. She needs to go! Fix it. Fire her or lose a customer of many years! She doesn't fit your business model or any business model for that matter!

My fillet was excellently cooked, the wine was reasonably priced, and the service was very good. We had Jennifer as our server, and she was excellent. Very knowledgeable, very friendly,  an attentive. 
Food was very flavorful. We had surf and turf (Mahi special and ribeye). The veggies (asparagus and broccoli) were exceptional.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Wonderful Celebration at The Back Room Steakhouse
My husband and I visited The Back Room Steakhouse to celebrate my achievement as an OCPS Support Person of the Year Finalist, and it was the perfect place for such a special evening.
Parking was plentiful, well‑lit, and felt very safe. The entrance is tastefully decorated and inviting, and we were greeted and seated promptly upon arrival. The ambiance is warm, relaxing, and strikes the ideal balance between fine dining and feeling right at home.
Our server, Olivia, was outstanding. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and went above and beyond to make sure our evening was enjoyable and memorable. Her service truly elevated our experience.
We were also visited by the owner, Mr. Conlan. I had the chance to thank him personally for the thoughtful gift card he sent to my school in recognition of my achievement. It’s rare to see a business owner take the time to support and celebrate members of the community in such a genuine and generous way. This is what true community looks like.
For dinner, I ordered the blackened steak tips with gorgonzola, and my husband had the sautéed Australian lamb chops. Both dishes were cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and generously portioned. We finished with a delicious chocolate cake topped with maple icing — the perfect ending to a wonderful night.
I highly recommend The Back Room Steakhouse for anyone looking for exceptional food, outstanding service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We look forward to returning again soon!

Went there for New Year's Eve dinner. The food was very good. Appetizers of their style bang bang shrimp and braised beef rolls were ordered and creme brulee was dessert choice all so very good. The steaks were tender and juicy.
I consider this Apopka's best restaurant. Food is superb, service outstanding.

We love The Back Room Steakhouse. It is one of your local favorites. Consistently delicious. The owner often greets us personally, which means a lot to us. Merry Christmas!
We changed up our order, usually it's a ribeye salad and baked potato. Tonight we chose the burger and boy o boy was it delicious, and for the price what a deal!!! Jenn was our server and as always she was fantastic. Best steakhouse around!!!
