I was craving a Calzone... and I really miss an old place that was off Park Ave... years ago, I heard that someone opened up Verona Cafe that used to work at the other place... well, I FINALLY took a chance and ordered from here... and let me tell you.. I'm so glad that I did... was almost exactly as I remember it... I'll definitely return... might not be quite as often as I'd like since I live in Longwood, but I'll be back... I'd have included a photo......
First time trying Cafe Verona and wish we would have gone sooner. Ordered small Stromboli and it did not disappoint! The portion was generous and the filling we ordered included cheese, sausage and pepperoni. It was plentiful both in size and contents. Restaurant was clean and the owner was friendly and engaging. You can tell that there was a sense of pride, something that is such a pleasure (and rarity) to see. Thank you Cafe Verona for the excellent food quality and service...
