We drove by on the way from from a road trip and I was skeptical when I first walked in. It's connected to another store and it's a pretty tight squeeze when standing in there with other customers. It was worth it. It was hands down some of the best ice cream that we have had. My stepdad got the peach and he raved about it, my mom got the coffee and she said it was the best coffee ice cream she had because it wasn't too sweet, and I had a banana milkshake where they used real bananas. It may not be the prettiest on the inside but we had a great experience. It seemed family opened and operated and the customer service could not have been better.

We were in the area and wanted ice cream and discovered Samies. We decided to get banana splits and were NOT disappointed! The vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice creams were all homemade. The pineapple sauce and strawberry sauce tasted like homemade, not over sweetened syrup with a few pieces of fruit. The banana split was heaped with toppings and delicious. We didn't get a chance to get back another time but will definitely make it a stop the next time we are in the area.

Do NOT stop here. Wasn’t even sure if this place was THE place my google maps was trying to land me at. When I opened the door, it was dark, musty & smelt like pure CIGARETTE!! Not at ALL what you’d expect from an ice cream shop. I’m not even sure where the ice cream was..maybe in the fridge/freezer. It was hot in there as well, No ventilation, no windows. I honestly was very shocked to find THAT was the “ice cream” shop. I had my husband stop in the attached store to ask where the ice cream shop was & it was in fact that location. The gal inside did greet us, but we were not about to eat anything from there by choice. DO NOT GO!!!One star is bc I had to put a star down…really would be 0/5!!
