I'm sure there was less sugar options, but oh my, I think I ate a quarter jar of peanut butter and had the equivalent of 4 sodas. It was good, but I should have gotten a small. Outside of that, the store was really cold legit had to get my coat. And $20 on a acaì bowl is quite the price when you're not expecting it because nothing but the smoothies had prices.“
“This place was soooo good! We got the sw bowl, med wrap, and a kids ham and cheese wrap with the froyo. Everything was delicious, including the kombucha on tap. I loved the screen ordering bc it makes it more efficient to customize. “This place is the very definition of a mom and pop shop. The level of the food and drinks match the warmth and welcome of the lovely husband and wife owners. It is a little hole in the wall in the sense that it's located inside of a gym but my goodness .... from what I have sampled so far, this business deserves its very own brick and mortar establishment. Every time I have ordered any food item, it has always been on point --- especially the curry dishes! What makes it even better is that it's healthy and low in calories. A double win! And let me guarantee you one more thing --- you would be hard pressed to find a fruit smoothie fresher and more delicious than what you get at Jax Juice Bar. It's second to none! “Love this place! Definitely a got to for me. Wish they had another location closer to the Riverside area. I love the dragonfruit smoothie but have tired other juices and smoothies and you can't go wrong. They a little seating area in the front of the store and you can sit and smell the wonderful ocean air. The staff is always nice and available to answer any questions you may have.“
“First time in and we will be back! I called ahead to pick up 2 breakfast sandwiches and an iced latte. When I arrived, I paid and my drink was made upon arrival- which I love. Who wants a watered down drink? The thoughtfulness and the overall customer service was very much appreciated and we tipped accordingly.“
“It’s a quaint little spot with a few spots for seating either indoor or outdoor. They were very nice and quick to prepare the food. I got the steak chimichurri bowl without the roasted potatoes. And let me tell you this bowl had potential, but the dressing it comes with- lemon tahini was not it. I presumed it’d be creamy like tahini and a little zesty due to the lemon but oh my it just tasted like sour lemon juice. The chimichurri was good, and all the spots that didn’t have the dressing was good, but my personal recommendation is to get the sauce on the side to try it first or a different one if you are not into the idea of a tart salad.“
“I work at a dealership down the street from here and was looking for a different healthy choice. I looked up healthy options in the area, and these guys. i tried there chicken caesar salad and muscle builder protein shake and now I'm hooked. The salad and chicken taste fresh and the protein shake tasted like a Reese's pieces. The people that own it are a family run business and were very kind. All in all this was a great and healthy substitute meal for me. P.s. they are tucked away inside the LA fitness so if your in the area definitely come give them a try!“
