I have lived in Jacksonville for 11 years and eaten many meals out. Obviously, I don't remember them all but if any had been as good as this I would remember it. My husband and I had my brother and SIL visiting from Charleston m, SC. We asked for a quiet table and that's what we got. Our guests had grouper and red snapper, what appeared to be 8 oz servings with fresh and seasonal sides beautifully presented. They each loved their choice and ate every morsel. My husband went for the vegetarian risotto dish which he said was prepared to avoid the excessive heaviness often found when too much cheese and/ or cream are involved. I had two appetizers, the Caesar salad which was fresh and light with the surprise of what seemed to be fresh (not canned) anchovies. With the salad, I had a single crabcake also light and fresh. Both my dishes, in fact everything we were served avoided stereotypes and pitfalls of over saucing or over seasoning. Everything was prepared with the courage of a master chef who could let each dish shine . Speaking of shining, Susana our server was perfection, a smile with every interaction, like the chef confident in her role, a joy to write these words of praise.
I asked for my pork chop dish to be cooked medium-to-medium-rare. It was cooked well-done and was very dry. I sent it back. It was replaced by another pork chop dish cooked virtually well-done and dry. I did not send it back again as a friend was entertaining my wife and myself. Plus, I have always had a good experience at Azurea. However, I cannot provide a good review when I could cook the chop myself better than the chef. Very disappointing.
Food was excellent as was the service. Dinner on Monday evening so no crowded and very quiet. Very nice decor and ambiance was ok.
A beautiful empty dining room on a Sunday evening. Very friendly service but a limited menu. Understandable seeing that there were 3 tables in the dining room.
There was a party of 15 and with kids. It was loud like I was at a chuckee cheese. But everything else was outstanding. I just thought when I stayed at the hotel and booked the restaurant for my sisters 60th birthday, it was fine dining. And with that noise it was not. I would have booked somewhere in town. But the staff, food, and view was amazing.
We absolutely love coming to this restaurant and hotel. The food is good, the service is always superb, and the place is very nice and inviting. We love it!!
We enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration and had an outstanding dinner. Every course of the meal was delicious and Suzanna was our excellent server. We had not eaten at Azurea for some time, but it deserves to be one of our favorites.
All was great , food service .. our server was so nice and sweet .. we will definitely be back
Excellent food with equally great service! Love the interior decor, especially the “sea tunnel” hallway that leads to the restaurant. Great place for a special dinner.
We had a great time. The atmosphere was great and we enjoyed catching up with friends. We never felt rushed. Staff was very attentive. The food was great

I’ve always wanted to visit this place, and I finally made it for Prime Rib Wednesday—and it did not disappoint! I heard their executive chef has an impressive background, having worked at renowned hotels like the Four Seasons and other luxury resorts in Hawaii and Orlando. It’s no surprise the prime rib was exceptional—perfectly cooked with that beautiful color I love. The sauce was absolutely divine. I also really enjoyed their unique take on house horseradish and the delicious side dish. The service was impeccable, and the view made it even more memorable. I’ll definitely be back on Wednesdays—and other days too! Thank you for such a magical experience!
I only took a picture of my dessert because it was really good and pleasant to see . My entree was red snapper bok choy and shiitake mushrooms . The snapper was really good as well as the shiitake mushrooms. The bok choy was a lil too crunchy for me . And didn’t mix well with the other sides . But overall it was great service the waiter was very nice and helped assist with every problem I had and made it right the best he could .
Excellent food staff and service. Vegan options for all courses.
We were here for lunch. Now I know being a vegan in this town my options are very limited. I’m usually just looking for a simple salad since I know most of the time for lunch I’m not going to have many other options. Especially if you don’t want something fried. Here my options were a flatbread with some mushrooms (after removing the garlic cream and cheese), a Cesar salad which was going to be a plate of romaine lettuce after removing the cheese, dressing and anchovies, or buffalo cauliflower. I opted for the latter. For $18 I got 5 pieces of semi cooked over breaded cauliflower. Granted they were large pieces. The description also said carrots and celery. That amounted to 4-5 tiny pieces (size of half a peanut) of celery, never got the carrots. I picked off most of the breading and ate the half cooked cauliflower. I actually called and left a message for the restaurant manager to discuss this situation. My call was not returned so here we are. I’m not asking for unbridled creativity. Put a dam salad on the menu. I don’t think that’s too much to ask. Won’t be coming back.
Excellent Brunch. Our favorite is the Shrimp Louie Salad and ask for some of the ciabatta bread. Great service as always!
