Whits is a staple to the Jacksonville area. Every time I go to the beach, I visit whits! Their frozen custard is so creamy and you could do any mix-you can imagine. They also have some premade mix-in's classics for people who don't really decide that well on their own the waffle cones are always crisp and your order comes out so quick even though they have to mix it. Run, don't walk, to Whit's! I'm a firm believer and follower of gelato and not big on custard or mixed in toppings, but this really surprised me. The custard is made of buttermilk, cream, and pasteurized egg, giving it a super silky yet thick texture.
