To leave Houston to come here on vacation and eat at this establishment was the highlight of my day. I ordered the oxtails, and I was in heaven. The meat of the oxtail just drop off the bone. I haven’t chew up the bone and suck off the juices in a long time. The place was clean. And the cooler had a large variety of different drinks. I would definitely want to eat here again when income back.

So my family and I tried to have dinner at Caribbean Delight in Auburndale tonight and I’m honestly so disappointed. We placed an order online at 6:33pm, with an estimated completion time of 7:15pm. My husband and I pull up and he walks in at 7:10pm, where he is then informed that they “don’t have any patties” (all we ordered were patties fyi). The gentleman at the front gave my husband some attitude after asking why they couldn’t call to inform us of this, then stated we needed to pick something else to order and refused a refund. My husband was not having it and stated that we want what we ordered or a refund. The gentleman went to the back and had another gentleman come out to speak with my husband, who then told him we had two options: wait for patties to be made, or receive a refund. My husband and I opted for the order being made because we truly did enjoy the food each time we have gone. They inform us that they are out of jerk chicken, so the jerk chicken patties will have to be beef patties, which is fine with us. The gentleman stated he would add additional patties to make up for the error as well. We end up waiting almost an hour before finally getting our food at 7:50p, only to get home and the order to still be incorrect and there are no additional patties. Used to love this place, but I’m so disappointed that we wasted 90 minutes for this.

Food was not fresh. Greens we're too spicy and had no real flavor. The Mac and cheese was super oily and stiff. It's not the healthiest dish but come on guys!! And the rice and beans had absolutely no flavor and was also stiff and dry. I gotta say... y'all definitely gave me a lot to say and I'm not proud of my opinion. Speaking of stiffed... I ended up spending $50 here on sides only because my wife and I eat differently than most and they forgot to include the cornbread in my order. I see from previous post that forgetting food is a common occurrence with this establishment. All I'm saying is....do better my people. No hate, I promise. I'm tired of having to eat tacos when I want something un-franchised.
