This is the best Chinese food around Auburndale and around the Polk county area in general if you ask me. It is always hot and fresh and the service is always friendly and the prices are very reasonable. We have had consistently good quality ordering many many meals probably over 50 by now from them and it is always delicious. I highly recommend the orange chicken or the crab rangoons or the beef with broccoli or really just about anything!
The young lady up front always take the time to be friendly with my young kids and does an excellent job!

We love Freddy's, their food is great! We've had their wonton soup, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, fried dumplings, vegetarian lo mein, schezwan triple (no bell pepper), general Tso's chicken, sesame chicken, and sweet and sour chicken! It's all been great food, fresh ingredients and we've been back so many times! This is a small locally owned business with very nice people that work really hard!

After being in Florida for 8 year I finally found a spot worth it. Everything was piping hot. The rice has flavor and was soft. The sweet and sour chicken was soft and had a crunch. The rangoons were probably some of the best I’ve had since leaving Chicago. I will definitely be returning!

Don't know what has happened to this place recently?! They take forever to answer the phone. When they do they have been out of food. Like common stuff. For instance no Shrimp Egg Foo Young. The taste of the food has been MEH lately. It really is not like it use to be and was one of our favorites, but I guess it is time to look for a new place which really sucks!
Don’t get their fried rice it’s not good at all crunchy uncooked rice

I just moved to Auburndale from the New Jersey/New York area. Finding a good Chinese food place was a priority for me when I moved into the area. I am extremely happy that I finally found Freddy's Chinese Food. The other Chinese food places in Auburndale were just not good at all. Freddy's is a small take-out place that is very clean. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and have great people-skills. Customer service is excellent! The chicken wings were large, crispy and extremely moist and not dry. The pepper steak and onions was also very flavorful and exactly like what you would get in China town in NYC. I am going to be a regular customer now and try other items on the menu. If you want real Chinese food in Auburndale, then you need to stop by Freddy's Chinese Food.

Im newly transplanted to Florida from NY. I've been looking for a good place for Chinese food and haven't had much luck. Heard about Freddie's and took a drive. Egg roll was delicious. Sesame chicken was very good. My only complaint was the pork fried rice was bland. Nothing stood out. Counter person was very personable and polite. I will definitely go back and try more food from them as it was the best I've had since moving here
