they were great! I accidentally left my wallet there and not aware that I did. they found me and it was returned and everything was there. so thankful.

This is probably the worst location in Polk county. Orders are never accurate they will literally sell you a burnt pizza. Food quality is absolute trash.

It’s take out or delivery, but the waiting area is pretty clean. Outdated, but ok. There’s a place to sit while you wait. The staff is always nice. They usually run some really good specials. Don’t forget to check out the Secret Menu.

I ordered delivery like I normally do. Been a local customer for 2 years and HH is my favorite pizza chain. Lately this location has become trash! There is always something wrong with my order. If the cook wasn't extremely skimpy and put the ingredients on the pizza like they sold the ingredients to HIM it's that they forgot to put a ingredients or the flavor on the crust and thats what their actually famous for. Today's order the ingredients where correct but my pizza was doughy and raw! To top it off like they do lately I live literally 2 minutes from there and my pizza is 90% of the times either cold or luke warm! Sometimes they give you your food straight from the trunk of their car and the food not placed in the bags they are supposed to use to keep contamination from getting to your food and also to keep it warm! This place seriously needs to clean out their staff or retrain all of the employees and especially the managers for permitting such low quality! Thank God I have a toaster oven to finish cooking my pizza!

We are Avid Hungry Howie Pizza customers. We just moved to Auburndale from Bartow. The Hungry Howie's in Wahneta has always been consistent and our pizza is always been great. Today we ordered from the Auburndale location, we asked for extra cheese paid $2 for extra cheese and it barely even has the regular amount of cheese on it. The pizza has way too much sauce on it, no garlic butter on the crust, and is undercooked. I suppose I'm going to get one of your automated responses, why don't you just fix the problems with this location it seems like a lot of people have them. You're losing lots of business because we won't order from there anymore

I don’t know what happened but Hungry Howies is now worse than Little Cesar’s!! The pizza was super thin, flimsy, barely any cheese to cover the whole thing, and sauce was super thin and gross. The Howie Bread was half the size it normally is, it came in a box smaller than the cookie box!! Thank God I ordered 2 or it wouldn’t have been enough for my family of 6. Very disappointed and will never be ordering Hungry Howies again.

That Auburndale hungry Howies on Havendale has a guy manager who has absolutely no customer service skills what’s so ever was completely rude on the phone with me when I was explaining to him yes I made a mistake I ordered online and pressed the wrong address to which I had to end up picking me own pizza up from their house. I then called the store requested it to be delivered to the correct address which the lady on the phone stated that’s fine we will get that swapped over right away and then my friend since I knew the people who lives at the address it was delivered too called me told me they had dropped my food off at her house I then called the store and told them it has already been delivered and he was not understanding at all was completely out of pocket with his attitude stating “ I’m just asking questions “ after I already explained to him what happened. I’ve ordered from this place a thousand times and never had any kind of experience with these people like I did today and I’ll never order from them again.

My fiance ordered a sandwich and a salad last night she became very sick after eating was up all night vomiting and diarrhea I don't know if the food was contaminated or if someone is just nasty not washing their hands but I think health department or someone should go and inspect this place I would not recommend anyone consuming any food from here!!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't matter what precautions you take we will never eat there again judging by other reviews neither will a lot of people obviously that location sucks probably should check out management or shut the place down I will not potentially put my life and my fiance's life in jeopardy by eating your food again!!!!!!!

Ordered a pie from HH, and it honestly didn't meet our expectations at all. To make a long story shorter, I have had much better frozen pizzas.
I have uploaded a picture of ours and a screenshot of theirs from their menu. I will let you guess which is which.
I don't like to hate on a business, so let me talk about the good points. The order taker was very good. Polite and got our order right, I guess. And when I went in to pick it up, the young lady at the counter was super pleasant and friendly. It sure smelled good and I was really looking forward to a good pizza.
Well, that didn't happen. Wasn't anything like the add. Just look at the colors! Not even sure if the ingredients were the same quality as in the ad. Not saying they aren't, but sure isn't a much of a match.
I grant you that I am not a photographer at all, but phones are pretty idiot proof these days. And it is what it is.
We weren't happy. As I've said, I've had much better frozen.

The slowest pizza on earth. Love it when you order pizza ahead of time and it's NEVER READY!. The girl at the counter should learn to lower her voice when going in the back to talk about customers. Pizza is extremely greasy. The whole place looks like it hasn't been cleaned since it opened.
